AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Future wireless communication systems face challenges in controlling simultaneous uplink transmission using multiple panels, as existing research is insufficient in managing this feature effectively.

Method used

A terminal and wireless communication method that controls uplink transmission using multiple panels by receiving configuration information for sounding reference signal resources and utilizing space division multiplexing, with specific SRS resource identifiers and maximum supported UL transmission layers and SRS resources per panel.

Benefits of technology

Enables appropriate transmission control even when simultaneous multi-panel transmission is supported, improving UL throughput and reliability.

Abstract

A terminal according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises: a reception unit that receives a plurality of pieces of setting information regarding a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource; and a control unit that controls UL transmission transmitted from each of a plurality of panels using a space division multiplexing scheme on the basis of a combination of a plurality of SRS resource identifiers (SRIs) specified in one or more fields included in downlink control information. The association between the maximum rank supported for the UL transmission and the number of SRS resources that can be set for each panel is set or defined.
