To provide an image forming apparatus that can control a fan considering a plurality of causes affecting a temperature at which the fan should be driven.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises: a first temperature sensor 62 that detects the temperature of a printing unit 12; and a second temperature sensor 67 that detects the temperature of an element on an AC / DC substrate 65.
