AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing sedimentation treatment devices face issues with short-path flow of untreated water when the inflow rate increases, destabilizing the solid-liquid separation process.

Method used

The sedimentation treatment device supplies water to be treated in an upward and swirling flow within the supply section, avoiding intersection with the central axis and forming both vertically upward and downward flows, which enhances residence time and contact time for solid-liquid separation.

Benefits of technology

This approach stabilizes the solid-liquid separation process by preventing short-path flow, promoting floc formation and improving separation efficiency even at increased inflow rates.

Abstract

To provide a precipitation processor capable of supplying treatment target water without causing a short path even when there is an increase in a quantity of inflow of the treatment target water during precipitation treatment for separating a solid-liquid in the treatment target water.SOLUTION: A precipitation processor 100A for separating a solid-liquid in treatment target water includes a precipitation processing unit 1, a supply unit 2 provided in the precipitation processing unit 1 and supplying treatment target water W into the precipitation processing unit; and a supply pipe 3 for supplying the treatment target water W to the supply unit 2, where the treatment target water W is supplied to the supply unit 2 without crossing a central axis of the supply unit and upward in a vertical direction in the supply unit 2. According to the present invention, when the treatment target water W is supplied into the supply part 2, a turning flow is formed together with an upward turning flow, so that occurrence of a short path in the supply unit 2 can be restrained even if a quantity of inflow of the treatment target water W is increased and solid-liquid separation treatment of the treatment target water W can be stably performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
