Abstract

To provide an illumination system that enables a user to select a color with ease.SOLUTION: An illumination system 300 comprises: a first control unit 152 that displays on a display unit 120 a color panel on which mutually different colors are arranged in each of a plurality of regions arranged in a matrix; an acquisition unit 151 that acquires color information indicating a color selected by a user, among a plurality of colors arranged on the color panel; and a second control unit 153 that controls an illuminating fixture 200 so as to emit light of color based on the color indicated by the color information. The first control unit 152 makes the display unit 120 display the plurality of colors arranged on the color panel so as to be arranged in an order of saturation in a first direction on a surface of the display unit 120 and in an order of hue in a second direction on the surface of the display unit 120 that is orthogonal to the first direction. For the plurality of colors arranged on the color panel, at least one of a color difference of hues adjacent to each other in the second direction and a difference in saturation from a color adjacent in the first direction becomes larger as the saturation becomes higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
