To provide an electronic oven capable of heating an object at an optimum temperature independently of whether using an exclusive container or not.SOLUTION: An electronic oven 1 includes a heating chamber 12 for heating an object with microwaves, a pair of upper side guide rails 20 provided on side walls 15 of the heating chamber 12, respectively, a plate 50 detachably arranged on the pair of upper side guide rails 20, a container 55 detachably mounted to a suspending rail 52 for the plate 50, and an infrared sensor 42 arranged at a position lower than a placement part 20a of the upper side guide rail 20 so as to detect both the temperature of the object placed on a bottom wall 13 and the temperature of the object stored in the container 55.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
