Abstract

To provide a method of producing lead ruthenate fine powder, capable of producing lead ruthenate fine powder without allowing inclusion of sulfur adversely influencing an electronic component and without containing coarse particles, as lead ruthenate powder to be used in a resistor constituting an electronic component such as a thick film chip resistor, and a hydroxide and a hydrate of lead ruthenate for producing lead ruthenate fine powder.SOLUTION: The method of producing lead ruthenate fine powder, comprises a step of allowing calcium to stick to a hydroxide or a hydrate of lead ruthenate and subsequently roasting the same.SELECTED DRAWING: None

Claims

1. A method for producing fine lead ruthenate powder, characterized by attaching calcium to the surface of lead ruthenate hydroxide or hydrate at a concentration of 2,000 ppm by mass or more and 4,000 ppm by mass or less, and then roasting it.

2. A method for producing lead ruthenate fine powder according to claim 1, characterized in that an aqueous solution of a calcium-containing compound is added to lead ruthenate hydroxide or hydrate free of impurities, and the mixture is stirred and filtered to deposit calcium on the surface of the lead ruthenate hydroxide or hydrate to a concentration of 2000 ppm by mass or more and 4000 ppm by mass or less.

3. A method for producing lead ruthenate fine powder according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by washing the roasted lead ruthenate fine powder to remove calcium adhering to the surface and then drying it.

4. A lead ruthenate hydroxide for producing lead ruthenate fine powder, characterized in that calcium is attached to the surface of the lead ruthenate hydroxide at a concentration of 2000 ppm by mass or more and 4000 ppm by mass or less.

5. A lead ruthenate hydrate for producing lead ruthenate fine powder, characterized in that calcium is attached to the surface of the lead ruthenate hydrate at a concentration of 2000 ppm by mass or more and 4000 ppm by mass or less.
