Lens structure for vehicle lighting fixtures

Abstract

To improve design flexibility about a cross-sectional shape of an area of light led by a lens structure while efficiently using a space in the lens structure.SOLUTION: A vehicular lamp body lens structure leads at least a part of light Li in a Z+ direction to both sides in an X direction, and then leads the part of light in a Y+ direction. A first reflection surface 31 totally reflects the light in the Z+ direction in an X- direction. A second reflection surface 32 totally reflects the light Li in the Z+ direction in an X+ direction. The first reflection surface 31 is equipped with a first reflection surface main part 31a, and a first reflection surface sub part 31b projecting out from the first reflection main part 31a in the X+ direction. The second reflection surface 32 is equipped with a second reflection surface main part 32a, and a second reflection surface sub part 32b projecting out from the second reflection surface main part 32a in the X- direction. The first reflection surface sub part 31b and the second reflection sub part 32b are arranged in parallel with each other in a Y direction in a plan view in a Z direction, and intersect each other in the plan view in the Y direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
