Combinations for promoting protein production

Abstract

This provides a combination for promoting protein production. [Solution] According to one embodiment, a collagen production promoter comprising crowberry is provided for use in combination with hibiscus or a composition comprising hibiscus. Such a collagen production promoter comprising crowberry may also be a composition comprising crowberry for promoting collagen production. Such promotion of collagen production may be achieved by promoting the production of PDGF-bb, or it may be achieved without promoting the production of PDGF-bb.

Claims

1. An oral composition for promoting collagen production, comprising crowberry fruit juice and hibiscus flower extract.

2. An oral composition according to claim 1 for further improving one or more selected from the group consisting of dry skin, rough skin, skin moisture, skin smoothness, skin luster, skin texture, forehead wrinkles, wrinkles around the mouth, skin firmness, skin softness, cheek sagging, under-eye sagging, face line sagging, susceptibility to pillow and sheet marks, overall skin condition, and skin appearance / beauty.

3. An oral composition according to claim 1 for further improving skin firmness.

4. An oral composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3, for use such that the ratio of CA / CB is 0.1 to 10, where CA is the dry weight of the crowberry fruit juice and CB is the dry weight of the hibiscus flower extract.
