Abstract

To solve such problems that a user wants to more easily input characters without experience or training such as pressing a keyboard displayed on a display with a finger when inputting characters to an electronic apparatus, and, even though character input by voice recognition is the simple method, the user also wants to input characters by such a method that information does not easily leak to a periphery since awareness for security and personal information protection is high nowadays, and there is a need for a character input device which is easier, does not require time-consuming training, and prevents information from leaking to the periphery.SOLUTION: A character input device inputs characters to an instrument based on the trajectory of the movement of the instrument. The device can easily input characters as if to write down characters on paper even a user is not accustomed to character input of an electronic apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
