Abstract

To provide an air cleaner which removes bacteria, viruses and dust existing in a cleaning object space, which can prevent attaching of the bacteria, viruses and dust to an object, and which can easily improve cleanliness in the cleaning object space by suppressing an adverse effect on a human body.SOLUTION: An air cleaner 101 includes: a body casing 1 having an airtight structure incorporating a cavity part and capable of standing like a screen; a ventilation member 4 provided at an upper part of a front surface of the body casing 1; an intake port and blower means provided at a lower part of a back surface of the body casing 1 so as to introduce the air outside of the body casing 1 to the cavity; a prefilter arranged in the intake port; and a HEPA filter arranged having a distance from the ventilation member 4 in a region opposed to the ventilation member 4 in the cavity part. In a region which is separated from the ventilation member 4 on the front surface of the ventilation member 4, an ion generation unit 15 incorporating a plurality of ion generators 15a is arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

Claims

[Claim 1] The device comprises a main casing with an airtight structure that has a hollow section and can stand upright like a screen, a ventilation member provided on the upper front of the main casing, an air intake port and a blowing means provided on the lower rear of the main casing for introducing air from outside the main casing into the hollow section, a prefilter positioned at the air intake port, and a plurality of HEPA filters positioned at a distance from the ventilation member in an area facing the ventilation member within the hollow section. The horizontal cross-sectional shape of the ventilation member is straight, or an obtuse V-shape or concave curve that is recessed from the front side of the main casing toward the cavity. The aforementioned blowing means has the function of blowing air from outside the main casing, which has been introduced into the cavity through the intake port and the pre-filter, out of the main casing through the plurality of HEPA filters and the ventilation member. An ion generating unit containing an ion generator is placed on the front of the aforementioned ventilation member. The ion generator built into the ion generating unit is positioned near the center in the vertical direction of the ion generating unit and near the center in the horizontal direction of the ion generating unit, and the ion generating unit is positioned in the center of the ventilation member. The ion generator forming the ion generating unit is arranged such that its ion generating section faces the left and right sides of the ventilation member. The aforementioned multiple HEPA filters are arranged in an obtuse V-shape with spacing between them in the left-right direction. The ion generating unit is an air purifier in which the ventilation member is positioned in a recessed portion that approaches the rear side of the main casing. [Claim 2] The air purifying device according to claim 1, wherein the lattice-shaped casing containing the ion generator in the ion generating unit is made of a ventilation member with an opening ratio of at least 50%. [Claim 3] The air purifying device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the ion generating unit is detachably attached to the front of the ventilation member.
