Abstract

A water discharge device 1 comprises a switching unit 3 and a control circuit 8. The switching unit 3 switches by electrical operation between a first discharge state in which supplied water is discharged and a second discharge state in which a fluid obtained by adding an additive to supplied water is discharged. The control circuit 8 controls the switching by the switching unit 3 on the basis of operation input from a user. If the second discharge state has been selected by operation input, the control circuit 8 switches to the first discharge state once a prescribed time has elapsed since the start of discharge in the second discharge state.
