Abstract
To provide a balloon catheter capable of measuring a blood pressure accurately and stably by reducing an impact of electric noise and an impact by a drift of a sensor.SOLUTION: A balloon catheter 10A used for closing a blood vessel includes: a catheter tube 20A; a balloon part 50 that can be expanded and contracted, at least proximal end part of the same being connected to the catheter tube 20A; a first optical sensor 110 capable of measuring a pressure using light, which is disposed on a distal side as compared to the balloon part 50 for measuring a blood pressure in a blood vessel on a distal side of the balloon part 50; and a second optical sensor 120 capable of measuring a pressure using light, which is disposed on a proximal side as compared to the balloon part 50 for measuring a blood pressure in a blood vessel on a proximal side of the balloon part 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
