Abstract

To minimize the number of components without reducing rigidity in a table in which a top plate is constituted by a plurality of divided top plate members.SOLUTION: In a table T equipped with a top plate 1 used from the periphery by setting at least three use ends 1a at equal angle intervals at a peripheral edge, the top plate 1 is constituted by adjacently arranging three or more top plate elements 11 that are divided top plate members which include each use end 1a and are independent from each other. The table employs a constitution in which a loop leg 2 which is a leg body supporting the top plate 1 is arranged at an adjacent boundary part 11b of each of the top plate elements 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

Claims

1. A table comprising a tabletop that can be used from all sides, with three or more usable ends set at equal angle intervals around its periphery, The aforementioned top plate is constructed by arranging three or more independent divided top plate members adjacent to each other, each including a usable end. Each divided top plate member has a support leg positioned at the adjacent boundary portion to support the top plate. Each of the aforementioned leg members comprises an inner leg column connected to an adjacent divided top plate member near the center of the top plate, and an outer leg column connected to an adjacent divided top plate member near the periphery of the top plate. A table in which the inner leg column and the outer leg column of each leg body are spaced apart from each other without a tabletop support frame for supporting the underside of the tabletop.

2. The table according to claim 1, wherein the leg body comprises an inner leg column that supports the central part of the tabletop and an outer leg column that supports the peripheral part of the tabletop, and a space is formed between the inner leg column and the outer leg column.

3. The table according to claim 1, wherein each of the aforementioned leg bodies has a separate lower limb space formed between them, which is exclusively for the user using each divided tabletop member.

The table according to claim 1, wherein the tabletop has a plurality of usable ends that are substantially straight in plan view and arranged at equal angular intervals in the circumferential direction, and a plurality of connecting ends that form a convex curve connecting the ends of these usable ends, and each of the divided tabletop members is divided at a position that divides each of the connecting ends in two.
