Abstract

Claims

1. A composition for improving the condition of the body surface of an organism, containing the following ingredient (X): (X) Ceramide NH having a C18:1 alkenyl chain and a C18:0 acyl chain, wherein the C18:1 The alkenyl chain has hydroxyl groups at positions C1, C3, and C6, and no additional hydroxyl groups other than those at positions C1, C3, and C6, and the C18:0 acyl chain is unsubstituted. 13. The composition according to any one of claims 9 to 12, wherein the fatty acid is selected from the group consisting of lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, arachidic acid, behenic acid, lignoceric acid, oleic acid, linolenic acid, and combinations thereof.
