Abstract
In one example, a cryotherapy system includes a base station, a cryotherapy applicator, and a coolant conduit configured to couple the cryotherapy applicator to the base station and to supply coolant from the base station to the cryotherapy applicator. The base station includes a housing including a canister container configured to receive a canister containing coolant. The cryotherapy applicator includes a handle, a shaft extending from a distal end of the handle, and an end effector coupled to the shaft. The end effector is configured to ablate target tissue using the coolant. When the coolant conduit couples the cryotherapy applicator to the base station, the entire cryotherapy applicator is movable relative to the entire base station.
