Abstract
This invention belongs to the technical field of telecommunications, specifically to patch antennas. In particular, a patch antenna based on multiband aperiodic tessellations and the method for generating them are described. The proposed antenna has the advantages of supporting multiple frequencies / multiple bands, the band gain does not decrease (in fractals, bands have lower gain as more iterations are performed), the bands are not multiples of the main resonance, it is physically small, has good frequency band gain, and patterns that distribute radiation uniformly at almost all angles incident on the patch.
