Acoustic panel groover and cutter

Abstract

This invention constructs an acoustic panel groover and cutter, a gadget specifically designed to cut panel boards accurately and consistently at various angles, including 45°, 90°, and V-groove cuts (45° angles on both sides). The portable device, primarily constructed from wood, is equipped with a sharp cutter capable of shaping and finishing panels to meet the diverse needs of designers and industries requiring precise decorative designs. The primary objective of the invention was to design, fabricate, and evaluate the acoustic panel groover and cutter based on its accuracy and consistency in achieving three different cutting angles. Three trials were conducted for each angle to assess performance. The device includes an adjustable guide holder to ensure precise and consistent cutting, significantly reducing the time and effort required in fabrication tasks.
