Abstract

The subject is a contact pickup that operates by contact, collecting sound during playing, drawing the signal directly from the drum head. This pickup allows the use of silent, so-called mesh-type membranes. The contact pickup is characterized by a T-shaped support (6) on whose upper surface are layered rubber (5), a piezoelectric transducer (4), anti-vibration material (3), and a mounting plate (2), which is pressed with at least one first screw (1), onto the T-support side (6), with a mounting hole (12) in the lower part on the T-support side (6).
