Abstract
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical preparation based on the use of an active ingredient from the family of phosphonium salts derived from Michael acceptors. These four molecules have dermatophyte inhibitory activity of up to 99.9% inhibition of the fungal population intended for use in the treatment of nail fungus, dermatophytes. The CPS molecule inhibits Trichophyton ruhrum at a concentration of 0.031 mg / mL, and also Microsporum canis at a concentration of 0.062 mg / mL. The other compounds CP1, CP3, and CP4 inhibit Trichophyton ruhrum and Microsporum canis at a concentration of 0.25 mg / mL. Compound CP1 inhibits Candida albicans at a concentration of 0.25 mg / mL. Furthermore, these molecules have no lytic or toxic effect on dermatophytes, particularly Trichophyton rubrum, Microsporum canis, and Candida albicans. These synthetic molecules are used as a remedy and treatment for nail diseases caused by dermatophytes, specifically Trichophyton rubrum, Microsporum canis, and Candida albicans.
