[0015] Mirror-coated glasses (2) with a multi-color mirror pattern expressed on the lens according to an embodiment of the present invention can be suitable for a sunglasses function, and can be manufactured in the form of glasses in which the glasses frame (4) is applied as a general glasses frame, as in (a) of FIG. 2, and can also be manufactured in the form of sports goggles in which the glasses frame (4) is applied as a sunglasses frame, as in (b) of FIG. 2.

[0016] The mirror-coated glasses (2) of the present invention, in which a multi-color mirror pattern is expressed on the lens, have a front-side mirror effect that can provide beautiful colors and style from the front image, while providing a function of reducing glare, and can also perform an eye protection function of protecting the eyes from sunlight or reflected scattered light as well as harmful ultraviolet rays. In addition, as shown in Fig. 1, mirror patterns of various colors and designs are configured to be visibly expressed on the front-side surface of the glasses lens (6).

[0017] Mirror-coated glasses (2) in which a multi-color mirror pattern according to an embodiment of the present invention is expressed on a spectacle lens (6) are composed of spectacle lenses (6) in which mirror patterns of various colors and designs are formed, as shown in Fig. 1, and spectacle frames (4) that combine the spectacle lenses (6) on the left and right.

[0018] FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a spectacle lens (6) having a multi-color mirror pattern expressed in a mirror-coated spectacle lens (2) according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a surface view of a spectacle lens (6) having a multi-color mirror pattern expressed in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a back view of a spectacle lens (6) having a multi-color mirror pattern expressed in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.

[0019] As shown in the cross-sectional configuration diagram of Fig. 3, the spectacle lens (6) of the present invention has a half-mirror layer (20) in which an anti-fingerprint layer (22) and a hard coating layer (24) are sequentially formed, and a mirror surface of various colors and designs can be formed on the front surface according to the rear-side blackout background.

[0020] In addition, a blackout background polarization layer (30) is provided on the rear side of the half mirror layer (20) to provide a full-view mirror effect to the half mirror layer (20), and a lens body layer (50) and a protective layer (60) are sequentially arranged on the rear side of the blackout background polarization layer (30).

[0021] As shown in Fig. 3, the half-mirror layer (20) is formed by sequentially stacking an anti-fingerprint layer (22) and a hard coating layer (24) on the front exposure side, and coating multilayer thin films including a reflective polarizing thin film and an absorptive polarizing thin film on the base glass surface (20a) by vacuum deposition to form a half-mirror surface (20b).

[0022] The color of the entire mirror base surface (P5) of the half-mirror surface (20b) in the half-mirror layer (20) is basically silver like the mirror surface as shown in Fig. 4, but gold or green is possible, and various colors such as blue, red, pink, etc. are also possible.

[0023] The mirror reflectivity and light transmittance of the half mirror layer (20) are formed at a ratio of 70 to 50% mirror reflectivity: 30 to 50% light transmittance, and normally, the back surface of the half mirror layer (20) is formed with a blackout background by the blackout background polarizing layer (30) of the present invention, and as shown in FIGS. 1 and 4 according to the blackout background, various designs and colors on the front surface stand out more clearly and are formed like a mirror.

[0024] In the example of Fig. 4, the half-mirror surface (20b) of the half-mirror layer (20) constituting the spectacle lens (6) of the present invention is shown to be coated with a multi-color mirror pattern (P1) to (P4) having various designs and colors desired by the manufacturer and a mirror base surface (P5).

[0025] In Fig. 4, it should be understood that the color expression of the mirror base surface (P5) in the part excluding the polychromatic mirror patterns (P1 to P4) on the half mirror surface (20b) has been omitted to better illustrate the opacity of the polychromatic mirror patterns (P1 to P4).

[0026] The procedure for forming a coating of a multi-color mirror pattern (P1 to P4) in a half-mirror layer (20) on the surface of a transparent base layer (20a) in a half-mirror layer (20) of a spectacle lens (6) can be performed as follows. First, a mask having a negative masking pattern for coating a multi-color mirror pattern (P1 to P4) is prepared, and the mask of the negative masking pattern is attached to the transparent base layer (20a), and then each of the multi-color mirror coating solutions for pattern colors is sequentially treated, thereby forming a coating of a plurality of multi-color mirror patterns (P1 to P4) on the transparent base layer (20a).

[0027] Afterwards, the mask having the negative masking pattern is removed, so that a half-mirror surface (20b) having a multi-color mirror pattern (P1 to P4) is formed on the half-mirror layer (20).

[0028] In addition, the half-mirror layer (20) can perform a different base color coating on the part (base surface) (P5) other than the multi-color mirror pattern (P1 to P4).

[0029] To this end, a mask having a positive masking pattern of a polychromatic mirror pattern (P1 to P4) is prepared. The mask having the prepared positive mask pattern is attached to the polychromatic mirror pattern (P1 to P4) that has been pre-coated on the transparent base layer (20a), and then additionally coated with a polychromatic mirror coating solution of a different color, thereby forming a polychromatic mirror base surface (P5) by coating the portion other than the mirror pattern (P1 to P4) on the transparent base layer (20a). Thereafter, by removing the mask having the positive mask pattern, the polychromatic mirror pattern (P1 to P4) of the transparent base layer (20a) of the half-coating layer (20) is formed, and a polychromatic mirror base surface (P5) of a color different from the color of the polychromatic mirror pattern (P1 to P4) is coated on the other portion.

[0030] Accordingly, the spectacle lens (6) of the present invention is formed with mirror patterns (P1 to P4) of various colors or a mirror base surface (P5) of a different color that serves as a base surface. Each of the mirror patterns (P1 to P4) and the mirror base surface (P5) can be formed by selecting from various reflective colors such as silver, mirror color (gray), gold, green, blue, red, pink, yellow, orange, purple, etc.

[0031] A blackout background polarizing layer (30) is formed on the rear side of the half mirror layer (20) in the spectacle lens (6). The blackout background polarizing layer (30) is preferably formed in a form in which an ultraviolet-curable adhesive thin film is applied to both sides of the polarizing film.

[0032] The blackout background polarization layer (30) is formed of a polarizing film having an achromatic color of a dark series such as gray or black, so that it can be configured to be a blackout background as in Fig. 5, and the inner and outer circumferences of the lens of the blackout background polarization layer (30) are configured with different filter film sections.

[0033] The outer circumferential surface of the lens of the blackout background polarizing layer (30) is configured to have a linear polarizing filter portion arranged in a polarizing arrangement state orthogonal to the polarizing arrangement direction of the polarizing thin film of the half-mirror layer (20), thereby preventing light from transmitting to the back of the spectacle lens (6). On the other hand, the inner circumferential surface of the blackout background polarizing layer (30) is provided with a circular polarizing filter portion made of a quarter-wave plate in which the vertical and horizontal waves are offset by 1 / 4 wavelength, as a part facing the user's eyes, thereby allowing the linearly polarized light to pass through the polarizer, thereby preventing it from being affected by the polarizing thin film of the half-mirror layer (20) located in front.

[0034] According to the present invention, the blackout background polarization layer (30) placed on the back side of the half-mirror layer (20) has a dark achromatic color of gray or black and the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the lens have a blackout polarization array structure, so that the half-mirror layer (20) forms a clear mirror surface of various colors and designs on the front side, thereby enhancing the sunglasses function and allowing it to be projected to the front of the spectacle lens (6).

[0035] However, on the back side of the eyeglass lens (6) with the sunglasses function, although various colors and designs are clearly displayed on the front side, they are not reflected to the back side, and only the dark color for the blackout background by the blackout background polarizing layer (30) is displayed as it is.

[0036] However, glasses wearers can comfortably view the front subject while receiving various protections through the glasses lenses (6).

[0037] Referring again to FIG. 3, the lens body layer (50) positioned at the rear of the blackout background polarizing layer (30) in the spectacle lens (6) of the present invention can be made of glass or a plastic material for spectacles, and can also be manufactured in the form of a prescription lens. The rear of the lens body layer (50) is configured to have a protective layer (60) having anti-fingerprint properties, etc. laminated thereon.

[0038] The spectacle lens (6) of the present invention can function as a colorful pair of sunglasses by expressing colors that produce a mirror effect through a half-mirror layer (20) and a blackout background polarizing layer (30), and there is no problem at all in which the discoloration concentration changes according to the thickness variation within the lens, as in the case of prescription lenses.

[0039] In the present invention, the sunglasses can block most of the ultraviolet rays and also block glare for activities in places where the intensity of ultraviolet rays and visible light is high, such as rivers, lakes, and the sea, or for activities such as aviation sports, desert and remote exploration, mountaineering, and skiing, and can be implemented in a variety of colors and can be implemented in one of a variety of colors to look like a mirror, so that they can provide beautiful colors and style to the wearer.

[0040] While the above description of the present invention has described specific embodiments, various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of the present invention should not be determined by the described embodiments, but by the claims and their equivalents.

[0041] The present invention can be used in the manufacture of eyeglasses in which various color mirror patterns are clearly expressed on the lenses.
