[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0002] This disclosure claims priority to Chinese patent application number 202311063638.5, filed on August 22, 2023, entitled “Satellite Communication Methods, Apparatus, Equipment and Storage Medium,” the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field

[0073] It should be noted that the modifications of "one" and "multiple" mentioned in the present disclosure are illustrative rather than restrictive, and those skilled in the art should understand that unless otherwise clearly indicated in the context, they should be understood as "one or more".

[0074] In order to solve the above problems, the embodiments of the present disclosure provide a satellite communication method, apparatus, device and storage medium.

[0075] For ease of understanding, the present disclosure will first introduce a satellite communication method.

[0076] It should be noted that the satellite communication method in the embodiments of the present disclosure is applied to a visited public land mobile network vPLMN.

[0077] FIG1 shows a flow chart of a satellite communication method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0078] As shown in FIG1 , the satellite communication method may include:

[0079] S110: Upon receiving a registration request from a satellite, obtaining subscription data of the satellite based on a home public land mobile network hPLMN to which the satellite belongs, wherein the registration request includes a first indication message, and the indication message is used to notify the vPLMN that the satellite will be connected to a base station of the vPLMN as a roaming satellite network.

[0080] In some embodiments, the satellite may send a registration request to the vPLMN through a base station or a ground gateway corresponding to the base station.

[0081] In some embodiments, when a satellite roams to the airspace corresponding to a vPLMN, it can connect to the ground gateway corresponding to the vPLMN based on the data pre-configured by the hPLMN, and then connect to the corresponding base station, and the base station forwards the satellite's registration request to the vPLMN.

[0082] In some embodiments, the satellite may determine parameter information of a terrestrial gateway corresponding to the vPLMN based on a pre-signed agreement between the hPLMN and the vPLMN, and then connect to the terrestrial gateway corresponding to the vPLMN based on the parameter information.

[0083] In some embodiments, the satellite may be connected to a base station corresponding to the vPLMN based on a Uu over feeder link interface.

[0084] In some embodiments, the registration request may include the satellite's identity information and identifier. The vPLMN may verify the satellite's identity based on the satellite's identity information and identifier, and obtain the satellite's subscription data if the verification is successful.

[0085] In some embodiments, the registration request may further include a satellite identifier and an identifier of the hPLMN to which the satellite is subscribed. Upon receiving the satellite registration request, the vPLMN may determine a target hPLMN based on the hPLMN identifier and then send the satellite identifier to the target hPLMN. Upon determining that the satellite is a subscribed satellite and the vPLMN is a roaming network with which the vPLMN has a roaming agreement, the target hPLMN sends the satellite's subscription data to the vPLMN.

[0086] In some embodiments, the registration request may further include a satellite identifier and an identifier of an hPLMN with which the satellite has signed a contract. Upon receiving the registration request from the satellite, the vPLMN may determine, based on the hPLMN identifier, whether the hPLMN is an hPLMN with which the corresponding agreement has been signed. If so, the vPLMN may send the satellite identifier to the hPLMN.

[0087] S120: Complete satellite registration based on the satellite's contract data.

[0088] In some embodiments, the subscription data includes whether the satellite is capable of serving as a roaming satellite network.

[0089] In some embodiments, completing satellite registration based on satellite subscription data includes:

[0090] In the case where the subscription data of the satellite indicates that the satellite can serve as a roaming satellite network, registration of the satellite is completed.

[0101] In some embodiments, if the vPLMN does not receive the satellite subscription data sent by the hPLMN, the vPLMN cannot complete the satellite registration, the satellite will not receive the registration success message, and the base station will disconnect from the satellite.

[0102] In some embodiments, in the above embodiments, the connection between the base station and the satellite is temporary and is used to send a registration request to the vPLMN through the base station.

[0103] S440: Send network configuration parameters to the satellite based on the PDU session established with the satellite, so that the satellite completes the network connection with the vPLMN based on the network configuration parameters.

[0104] In some embodiments, the satellite may establish a PDU session with the vPLMN through the base station. Exemplarily, the satellite establishes a PDU session with the OAM system of the vPLMN through the base station.

[0105] In some embodiments, the OAM system may send network configuration parameters to the satellite via the base station.
