Description

Display system including electronic devices and screens

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a display system including an electronic device and a screen. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a display system capable of projecting and providing a three-dimensional image.

[0002] Recently, technological advancements in electronic devices capable of projecting images, known as projectors, have accelerated. In particular, various types of projectors have become available, including portable or movable projectors that can project images freely without location constraints, and ultra-short-throw projectors that can project images on a screen even at very short distances.

[0003] In addition, although the technology for 3D projectors capable of providing 3D images has recently been attracting attention, the reality is that there are still many limitations in implementing 3D images through projection methods.

[0004] For example, there is a technology that provides 3D images using 3D glasses together with a projector as a conventional technology, but this conventional technology has limitations in that it causes inconvenience to the user because it requires the user to watch the image while wearing 3D glasses, and the brightness of the image may be lost.

[0005] Meanwhile, there is a technology that provides 3D images by including a retroreflector layer on the screen without requiring the user to wear special glasses, but this technology has been criticized for its limitation in that it has a very large loss of brightness because it uses a method of diffusing the light emitted from the projector.

[0006] The above information is provided solely as background information to aid in understanding the present disclosure. No determination has been made, and no claim is made, regarding whether any of the above information constitutes prior art in connection with the present disclosure.

[0007] An aspect of the present disclosure is to solve at least the problems and / or disadvantages described above and to provide at least the advantages described below. Accordingly, one aspect of the present disclosure is to provide a display system capable of projecting and providing 3D images while simultaneously minimizing brightness loss.

For example, “A or B,” “at least one of A and B,” or “at least one of A or B” can all refer to (1) including at least one A, (2) including at least one B, or (3) including both at least one A and at least one B.

[0045] The expressions “first,” “second,” “first,” or “second,” etc., used in this disclosure can describe various components, regardless of order and / or importance, and are only used to distinguish one component from another, but do not limit the components.

[0046] When it is said that a component (e.g., a first component) is “(operatively or communicatively) coupled with / to” or “connected to” another component (e.g., a second component), it should be understood that said component may be directly coupled to said other component, or may be coupled via another component (e.g., a third component).

[0047] On the other hand, when it is said that a component (e.g., a first component) is "directly connected" or "directly connected" to another component (e.g., a second component), it can be understood that no other component (e.g., a third component) exists between said component and said other component.

[0048] The expression "configured to" as used in the present disclosure may be used interchangeably with, for example, "suitable for," "having the capacity to," "designed to," "adapted to," "made to," or "capable of." Furthermore, a plurality of 'modules' or 'parts' may be integrated into at least one module and implemented as at least one processor, except for a 'module' or 'part' that needs to be implemented as a specific hardware.

[0051] Meanwhile, the various elements and areas in the drawings are schematically drawn. Therefore, the technical concept of the present invention is not limited by the relative sizes or spacing depicted in the attached drawings.

[0052] Hereinafter, with reference to the attached drawings, embodiments according to the present disclosure will be described in detail so that a person having ordinary knowledge in the technical field to which the present disclosure pertains can easily implement the present disclosure.

[0053] It should be recognized that the blocks and combinations of flowcharts in each flowchart can be performed by one or more computer programs containing instructions. One or more computer programs may be stored entirely on a single memory device, or one or more computer programs may be divided into different portions stored on multiple different memory devices.

[0054] Any of the functions or operations described below may be processed by a single processor or a combination of processors. A single processor or a combination of processors is a circuit that performs processing, and may be a circuit such as an application processor (AP, e.g., a central processing unit (CPU)), a communication processor (CP, e.g., a modem), a graphics processing unit (GPU), a neural processing unit (NPU) (e.g., an artificial intelligence (AI) chip), a Wi-Fi chip, a Bluetooth® chip, a global positioning system (GPS) chip, a near-field communication (NFC) chip, a connection chip, a sensor controller, a touch controller, a fingerprint sensor controller, a display driver integrated circuit (IC), an audio codec chip, a universal serial bus (USB) controller, a camera controller, an image processing IC, a microprocessor unit (MPU), a system on a chip (SoC), an IC, or a similar chip.

[0055] FIG. 1 is a block diagram briefly showing the configuration of a display system (1000) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and FIG. 2 is a drawing showing a light movement path according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0056] As illustrated in FIG. 1, the display system (1000) may include an electronic device (100) and a screen (200).

[0057] The 'electronic device (100)' according to the present disclosure refers to a device capable of projecting an image onto a screen (200). For example, the electronic device (100) may be implemented not only as a type of device referred to as a beam projector or a projector, but may also be implemented by mounting a projection unit on various types of devices such as a smart phone, a tablet PC (personal computer), a robot, etc. That is, there is no particular limitation on the type of the electronic device (100) according to the present disclosure.

[0058] The electronic device (100) may include a plurality of projection units (110, 120) that emit light to provide a three-dimensional image. The term 'projection unit' refers to a configuration that emits light corresponding to an image in order to project the image onto a screen (200), and a plurality of projection units (110, 120) are required to project a three-dimensional image onto the screen (200). Here, the term 'emission' may be replaced with the term 'radiate', etc.

[0059] Specifically, the plurality of projectors (110, 120) may include a 'first projector (110)' that emits light to be provided to the user's left eye and a 'second projector (120)' that emits light to be provided to the user's right eye. Meanwhile, the number of the plurality of projectors (110, 120) may be increased to expand the size of the eye box (20) as described below or to accommodate a plurality of users. Each of the plurality of projectors (110, 120) may include various detailed configurations such as a light source, a projection lens, and a reflector.

[0060] The plurality of projection units (110, 120) can be implemented with various projection methods (e.g., CRT (cathode-ray tube) method, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) method, DLP (Digital Light Processing) method, laser method, etc.). For example, the CRT method is basically the same principle as a CRT monitor. The CRT method magnifies the image with a lens in front of the cathode-ray tube (CRT) and displays the image on the screen (200). Depending on the number of cathode-ray tubes, it is divided into a single-tube type and a three-tube type, and in the case of a three-tube type, the red, green, and blue cathode-ray tubes can be implemented separately.

[0061] Another example is the LCD method, which displays images by passing light from a light source through liquid crystals. LCD methods are divided into single-panel and three-panel types. In the case of the three-panel type, light from a light source is separated into red, green, and blue by a dichroic mirror (a mirror that reflects only a specific color of light and transmits all others). After passing through the liquid crystals, the light can be refocused into a single point.

[0062] Another example is the DLP method, which displays images using a DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) chip. The DLP projection unit may include a light source, a color wheel, a DMD chip, a projection lens, etc. Light output from the light source can be colored as it passes through the rotating color wheel. The light passing through the color wheel is input to the DMD chip. The DMD chip contains numerous micromirrors and reflects the light input to the DMD chip. The projection lens can play a role in magnifying the light reflected from the DMD chip to the size of the image.

[0063] Another example is a laser system that uses a Diode Pumped Solid State (DPSS) laser and a galvanometer. A multi-color laser uses three DPSS lasers, one for each of the RGB (Red, Green, and Blue) colors, with their optical axes overlapped by a special mirror. The galvanometer includes a mirror and a high-power motor that moves the mirror at high speeds. For example, the galvanometer can rotate the mirror at up to 40 KHz / sec. The galvanometer is mounted according to the scan direction, but since projectors typically scan in a planar manner, the galvanometer can also be positioned separately along the x and y axes.

[0064] Meanwhile, the plurality of projectors (110, 120) may include various types of light sources. For example, the plurality of projectors (110, 120) may include at least one light source among lamps, LEDs, and lasers.

[0065] The plurality of projection units (110, 120) can output images with a 4:3 screen ratio, a 5:4 screen ratio, and a 16:9 wide screen ratio depending on the purpose of the electronic device (100) or the user's settings, and can output light corresponding to the image with various resolutions such as WVGA (wide video graphics array) (854*480), SVGA (super video graphics array) (800*600), XGA (extended graphics array) (1024*768), WXGA (wide extended graphics array) (1280*720), WXGA (1280*800), SXGA (super extended graphics array) (1280*1024), UXGA (ultra extended graphics array) (1600*1200), and Full high definition (HD) (1920*1080) depending on the screen ratio.

[0066] Meanwhile, the plurality of projection units (110, 120) can perform various functions to adjust the output image (i.e., the image projected on the screen (200)). For example, the plurality of projection units (110, 120) (or projectors) can adjust the size and shape of the output image by performing functions such as zoom, keystone, quick corner (4 corner) keystone, and lens shift.

[0067] The term 'screen (200)' refers to a configuration capable of reflecting light emitted through a plurality of projection units (110, 120) and providing it to a user. In particular, the screen (200) can provide a three-dimensional image to a user by reflecting light emitted through a plurality of projection units (110, 120). The screen (200) may be fixedly attached to a wall or object in a viewing space, and may be implemented to enable positional movement or rolling. There is no particular limitation on the type of the screen (200) according to the present disclosure. The screen (200) may include a geometric phase layer (210) and a retroreflection layer (220).

[0068] The 'geometric phase layer (210)' refers to a configuration that can refract light in different directions depending on the polarization of the incident light. The geometric phase layer (210) can perform the function of a lens that focuses light into one area or point or spreads it out at the boundary of the geometric phase layer (210) depending on the polarization of the incident light, and in particular, the geometric phase layer (210) according to the present disclosure can perform the function of a prism that refracts light in different directions depending on the polarization of the incident light.

[0069] The geometric phase layer (210) can exhibit different optical properties depending on the polarization of light. Unlike a general convex lens or concave lens, the geometric phase layer (210) can be implemented in a flat shape, and thus can also be referred to as a 'phase plate'. In addition to the geometric phase layer (210), any configuration that can refract light in different directions depending on the polarization of the incident light can be used instead of the geometric phase layer (210) according to the present disclosure. The geometric phase layer (210) can be simply referred to as a 'first layer', and can be referred to by terms such as a 'geometric phase film', a 'geometric phase lens', a 'geometric phase prism', or a 'geometric phase modulation'.

[0070] The geometric phase layer (210) may include a surface having a specific pattern or structure. When light passes through the geometric phase layer (210), the phase of the light changes due to diffraction according to the specific pattern or structure, and the wave characteristics of the light may change accordingly. Furthermore, when light passing through the geometric phase layer (210) interacts with other materials or passes through other layers, specific optical effects may occur. These optical effects may be utilized to change the path of the light in a specific direction or control the phase structure of the light to perform a desired operation in an optical system.

[0071] In particular, the geometric phase layer (210) according to the present disclosure can refract light in different directions depending on the polarization of the light incident from a plurality of projectors (110, 120), while also adjusting the polarization of the incident light. Specifically, the geometric phase layer (210) can adjust the polarization of the incident light to left circularly polarized (LCP) if the polarization of the incident light is right circularly polarized (RCP), and can adjust the polarization of the incident light to right circularly polarized if the polarization of the incident light is left circularly polarized. In the present disclosure, the term 'adjust' can be replaced with terms such as transform, change, alter, or modulate.

[0072] In the present disclosure, 'right-hand polarization' refers to polarization that rotates clockwise with respect to the direction of light propagation, and 'left-hand polarization' refers to polarization that rotates counterclockwise with respect to the direction of light propagation.

[0073] A 'retroreflective layer (220)' refers to a configuration capable of reflecting light in the opposite direction to the direction in which the light was incident. Specifically, the retroreflective layer (220) can reflect the incident light in the opposite direction to the direction in which it was incident, so that the light travels in a path that is parallel to and opposite to the path of the light incident from the geometric phase layer (210).

[0074] There is no particular limitation on the type of retroreflective layer (220), but for example, the retroreflective layer may be implemented as one of a corner cube retroreflection layer (220) and a spherical retroreflection layer (220).

[0075] A corner cube retroreflective layer (220) refers to a cube-shaped retroreflective layer (220) composed of three reflective surfaces. The corner cube retroreflective layer (220) can reflect light in the opposite direction of the incident direction based on a combination of three mutually perpendicular reflective surfaces. The spherical retroreflective layer (220) can reflect light in the opposite direction of the incident direction based on a lens-shaped curved surface.

[0076] The material of the retroreflective layer (220) may include aluminum, silver, or anisotropic scattering materials for scattering light in a specific direction. However, there is no particular limitation on the material of the retroreflective layer (220). Meanwhile, the retroreflective layer (220) may also be referred to by terms such as 'second layer' or 'retroreflective film'.

[0077] Hereinafter, with reference to FIG. 2, a detailed description will be given of a light travel path according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The arrows in FIG. 2 represent light travel paths or 'rays', and in FIG. 2, numbers 1 to 14 are written on each arrow to distinguish each light travel path. This method of expressing light travel paths is used not only in FIG. 2, but also in FIGS. 4, 5, and 8.

[0078] In FIG. 2, only path 1 and path 8 are shown as paths of light emitted through multiple projection units (110, 120), but this is only for convenience of explanation, and in reality, light emitted through multiple projection units (110, 120) can be incident on the screen (200) through countless paths in the area between path 1 and path 8.

[0079] Meanwhile, in FIG. 2, the geometric phase layer (210) and the retroreflective layer (220) are illustrated as being spaced apart, but this is only to clearly illustrate the path of light passing through the geometric phase layer (210) and the retroreflective layer (220), and the geometric phase layer (210) may be laminated on the retroreflective layer (220). That is, the geometric phase layer (210) and the retroreflective layer (220) may each be implemented in the form of a film and may be implemented to be in contact with each other. Of course, it is also possible for a gap to exist between the geometric phase layer (210) and the retroreflective layer (220), or for another layer to be arranged between the geometric phase layer (210) and the retroreflective layer (220).

[0080] In one or more embodiments, if the polarization of light emitted from a plurality of projectors (110, 120) is a first polarization among right-handed polarization and left-handed polarization, the emitted light is refracted in a first direction by the geometric phase layer (210), the light refracted in the first direction is reflected in a direction opposite to the first direction by the retroreflective layer (220), and the reflected light can be refracted in a second direction toward a preset position corresponding to both eyes of the user by the geometric phase layer (210).

[0081] On the other hand, if the polarization of the light emitted from the plurality of projection units (110, 120) is the second polarization, the emitted light is refracted in a third direction different from the first direction by the geometric phase layer (210), the light refracted in the third direction is reflected in the opposite direction of the third direction by the retroreflective layer (220), and the reflected light can be refracted in a fourth direction different from the second direction by the geometric phase layer (210).

[0082] Specifically, if the polarization of light emitted from the plurality of projectors (110, 120) is the first polarization, the emitted light is refracted in the first direction while being changed to the second polarization by the geometric phase layer (210), the light refracted in the first direction is reflected in the opposite direction of the first direction while being changed to the first polarization by the retroreflective layer (220), and the reflected light is changed to the second polarization by the geometric phase layer (210) and can be refracted in the second direction toward a preset position corresponding to both eyes of the user. On the other hand, if the polarization of light emitted from the plurality of projectors (110, 120) is the second polarization, the emitted light is refracted in the third direction while being changed to the first polarization by the geometric phase layer (210), the light refracted in the third direction is reflected in the opposite direction of the third direction while being changed to the second polarization by the retroreflective layer (220), and the reflected light can be refracted in the fourth direction while being changed to the first polarization by the geometric phase layer (210).

[0083] Here, the 'pre-set position' refers to the position of the eyebox (20), which is an area corresponding to both eyes of the user. The 'eyebox (20)' is an area corresponding to both eyes of the user, and can be said to be the target arrival point of light corresponding to the 3D image when a 3D image is projected. The eyebox (20) may include a left eyebox (20) corresponding to the user's left eye and a right eyebox (20) corresponding to the user's right eye. The term 'eyebox (20)' may be replaced with terms such as 'viewing box', 'viewport', or 'target point'.

[0084] The position of the eye box (20) can be determined to a point where the three-dimensional image has appropriate depth and a three-dimensional effect. The size of the eye box (20) is preferably determined by considering that a larger eye box (20) provides a wider field of view to the user, but if the eye box (20) is too large, crosstalk may occur between the left and right eye boxes (20). In addition, the shape of the eye box (20) is preferably determined by considering the user's field of view and movements, etc.

[0085] For example, the position, size, and shape of the eye box (20) may be set based on at least one of the focal length of the lens included in the electronic device (100), the optical aberration of the lens, and the size of the aperture included in the electronic device (100). In addition, the position, size, and shape of the eye box (20) may also be set based on at least one of the shape, size, and spacing of the pattern formed on the retroreflective layer (220). In addition, various factors such as the distance between the screen (200) and the electronic device (100) may be used to determine the position, size, and shape of the eye box (20).

[0086] In the description of the present disclosure, the term "first polarization" is used to refer to one of right-handed circular polarization and left-handed circular polarization, and the term "second polarization" is used to refer to the other polarization that is different from the first polarization among right-handed circular polarization and left-handed circular polarization. That is, if the first polarization is right-handed circular polarization, the second polarization may be left-handed circular polarization, and if the first polarization is left-handed circular polarization, the second polarization may be right-handed circular polarization.

[0087] The term 'first direction' is a term for specifying the direction of refraction of light incident in the direction from the plurality of projectors (110, 120) toward the geometric phase layer (210) when the polarization of light emitted from the plurality of projectors (110, 120) is the first polarization. That is, light of the first polarization emitted from the plurality of projectors (110, 120) can be refracted in the first direction by the geometric phase layer (210).

[0088] The term 'second direction' is a term for specifying the direction of refraction of light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) toward the geometric phase layer (210) when the polarization of light emitted from the plurality of projectors (110, 120) is the first polarization. That is, light of the first polarization reflected by the retroreflective layer (220) can be refracted in the second direction toward a preset position corresponding to both eyes of the user by the geometric phase layer (210).

[0089] The term 'third direction' is a term for specifying the direction of refraction of light incident from the plurality of projectors (110, 120) toward the geometric phase layer (210) when the polarization of the light emitted from the plurality of projectors (110, 120) is the second polarization. That is, the light of the second polarization emitted from the plurality of projectors (110, 120) can be refracted in the second direction by the geometric phase layer (210).

[0090] The 'fourth direction' is a term for specifying the direction of refraction of light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) toward the geometric phase layer (210) when the polarization of light emitted from multiple projectors (110, 120) is the second polarization. That is, the light of the second polarization reflected by the retroreflective layer (220) may be refracted in the fourth direction rather than in the direction toward the preset positions corresponding to both eyes of the user by the geometric phase layer (210).

[0091] The terms first direction, second direction, third direction and fourth direction defined above may be replaced with the terms first angle, second angle, third angle and fourth angle.

[0092] The first direction, the second direction, the third direction, and the fourth direction can be set based on at least one of the shape, size, and spacing of the pattern formed on the geometric phase layer (210). For example, the manufacturing of the geometric phase layer (210) can include a process of forming a pattern (interference pattern) on a substrate and arranging liquid crystals on the area where the pattern is formed. At this time, the arrangement of the liquid crystals varies depending on the shape, size, and spacing of the pattern, and accordingly, the refraction angle of light passing through the geometric phase layer (210) can be determined.

[0093] Additionally, the refraction angle of light passing through the geometric phase layer (210) can be controlled by attaching a prism sheet or the like to the geometric phase layer (210) or by controlling at least one of the shape, size, and spacing of the pattern formed on the retroreflective layer (220).

[0094] That is, the refraction angle of light passing through the geometric phase layer (210) may vary depending on the developer's design considering various factors including the specifications of the projector and the viewing distance. However, for the convenience of explanation, the following description assumes that the refraction angle of the geometric phase layer (210) is set as described below in the two cases. It goes without saying that the refraction angle of the geometric phase layer (210) may be set differently from the following assumptions.

[0095] First, when light is incident in a direction toward the geometric phase layer (210) from multiple projection units (110, 120), if the polarization of the incident light is left-handed circularly polarized, it is assumed that it is refracted at a preset angle pointing upward based on the incident angle, and if the polarization of the incident light is right-handed circularly polarized, it is assumed that it is refracted at a preset angle pointing downward based on the incident angle.

[0096] Second, when light is incident in the direction from the retroreflective layer (220) toward the geometric phase layer (210), the direction of refraction according to the polarization of the light is opposite to the case where light is incident in the direction from the plurality of projection units (110, 120) toward the geometric phase layer (210). That is, below, when light is incident in the direction from the retroreflective layer (220) toward the geometric phase layer (210), if the polarization of the incident light is left-handed, it is assumed that it is refracted at a preset angle pointing downward based on the incident angle, and if the polarization of the incident light is right-handed, it is refracted at a preset angle pointing upward based on the incident angle. The specific refraction angle may vary depending on the design of the geometric phase layer (210) as described above.

[0097] Meanwhile, the description of FIG. 2 assumes that the first polarization is left-hand circular polarization (i.e., LCP) and the second polarization is right-hand circular polarization (i.e., RCP).

[0098] First, the path of light in Fig. 2 is explained assuming that the polarization of light emitted through multiple projectors (110, 120) is right-circular polarization.

[0099] As illustrated in FIG. 2, light emitted from a plurality of projectors (110, 120) can be incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1. If the polarization of the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 is right-handed circular polarization, the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 can be adjusted to left-handed circular polarization and refracted in a third direction, i.e., in the direction of path 5. The light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 5 can be adjusted to right-handed circular polarization by the retroreflective layer (220) and reflected in the direction of path 6. The light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 6 can be adjusted to left-handed circular polarization and refracted in the fourth direction, i.e., in the direction of path 7. Accordingly, the light can be provided in a different direction from the eye box (20) along the direction of path 7.

[0100] As illustrated in FIG. 2, light emitted from a plurality of projectors (110, 120) can be incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8. If the polarization of the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 is right-handed circular polarization, the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 can be adjusted to left-handed circular polarization and refracted in a third direction, that is, in the direction of path 12. The light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 12 can be adjusted to right-handed circular polarization by the retroreflective layer (220) and reflected in the direction of path 13. The light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 13 can be adjusted to left-handed circular polarization and refracted in a fourth direction, that is, in the direction of path 14. Accordingly, the light can be provided in a different direction from the eye box (20) along the direction of path 14.

[0101] Next, the path of light in Fig. 2 will be described assuming that the polarization of light emitted through multiple projectors (110, 120) is left-circular polarization.

[0102] As illustrated in FIG. 2, light emitted from a plurality of projectors (110, 120) can be incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1. If the polarization of the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 is left-circular polarization, the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 can be adjusted to right-circular polarization and refracted in the first direction, i.e., the direction of path 2. The light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 2 can be adjusted to left-circular polarization by the retroreflective layer (220) and reflected in the direction of path 3. The light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 3 can be adjusted to right-circular polarization and refracted in the second direction, i.e., the direction of path 4. Accordingly, the light can be provided in the direction of the preset eye box (20) along the direction of path 4.

[0103] As illustrated in FIG. 2, light emitted from a plurality of projectors (110, 120) can be incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8. If the polarization of the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 is left-circular polarization, the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 can be adjusted to right-circular polarization and refracted in the first direction, i.e., in the direction of path 9. The light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 9 can be adjusted to left-circular polarization by the retroreflective layer (220) and reflected in the direction of path 10. The light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 10 can be adjusted to right-circular polarization and refracted in the second direction, i.e., in the direction of path 11. Accordingly, the light can be provided in the direction of the preset eye box (20) along the direction of path 11.

[0104] In conclusion, according to the example of FIG. 2, only when the polarization of the light emitted through the plurality of projectors (110, 120) is left-handed polarization, it can be provided in a direction toward the final preset position, that is, toward the eye box (20), and when the polarization of the light emitted through the plurality of projectors (110, 120) is right-handed polarization, it can be provided in a direction not toward the eye box (20).

[0105] According to the prior art, a three-dimensional image is provided by diffusing light reflected on a screen (200) at a wide angle using a diffuser, so there is a limit to the brightness of the light directed at both eyes of the user.

[0106] On the other hand, as described above, the display system (1000) according to the present disclosure can focus light reflected on the screen (200) on areas corresponding to both eyes of the user without the need for special glasses or additional devices by combining a geometric phase layer (210) with a screen (200) including a retroreflective layer (220). Accordingly, the display system (1000) can provide the user with a significantly brighter three-dimensional image compared to the prior art.

[0107] FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing in detail the configuration of a display system (1000) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a light path according to an embodiment of the present disclosure in which an electronic device (100) further includes a polarizer (130), and FIG. 5 is a diagram showing a light path according to an embodiment of the present disclosure in which a screen (200) further includes a quarter-wave plate (230).

[0108] First, an embodiment will be described below with reference to FIG. 4 together with FIG. 3. As illustrated in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, the electronic device (100) may further include a polarizer (130) in addition to the first projection unit (110) and the second projection unit (120).

[0109] A 'polarizer (130)' refers to a configuration that can filter light of a specific polarization so that it is not emitted. The polarizer (130) can be placed in a direction from a plurality of projectors (110, 120) toward the screen (200) so that light emitted from the plurality of projectors (110, 120) can be incident.

[0110] In one embodiment, the polarizer (130) can filter light of a second polarization emitted from a plurality of projectors (110, 120). That is, the electronic device (100) can filter light of a second polarization, which is a specific polarization, among the lights emitted from a plurality of projectors (110, 120) using the polarizer (130), and emit only light of a first polarization toward the screen (200).

[0111] Below, the example of Fig. 4 is described assuming that the first polarization is left-handed polarization and the second polarization is right-handed polarization, similar to the description of Fig. 2.

[0112] As illustrated in FIG. 4, light emitted from multiple projectors (110, 120) can be filtered by a polarizer (130) and then incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1. Since the second polarization, i.e., right-handed circularly polarized light, is filtered by the polarizer (130), the polarization of the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 is left-handed circularly polarized light, and therefore, the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 can be refracted in the first direction, i.e., in the direction of path 2, while being adjusted to right-handed circularly polarized light. The light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 2 can be reflected in the direction of path 3 while being adjusted to left-handed circularly polarized light by the retroreflective layer (220). Light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 3 can be refracted in the second direction, i.e., the direction of path 4, while being adjusted to right-hand circular polarization. Accordingly, the light can be provided in the direction toward the preset eye box (20) along the direction of path 4.

[0113] As illustrated in FIG. 4, light emitted from multiple projectors (110, 120) can be filtered by a polarizer (130) and then incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8. Since the second polarization, i.e., right-hand circular polarization, is filtered by the polarizer (130), the polarization of the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 is left-hand circular polarization, and therefore, the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 can be refracted in the first direction, i.e., in the direction of path 9, while being adjusted to right-hand circular polarization. The light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 9 can be reflected in the direction of path 10 while being adjusted to left-hand circular polarization by the retroreflective layer (220). Light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 10 can be refracted in the second direction, i.e., the direction of path 11, while being adjusted to right-hand circular polarization. Accordingly, the light can be provided in the direction toward the preset eye box (20) along the direction of path 11.

[0114] Meanwhile, since the light of the second polarization, i.e., right-circular polarization, is filtered by the polarizer (130), the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 is not refracted in the third direction, i.e., in the direction of path 5 of FIG. 2, and thus may not be refracted in the fourth direction, i.e., in the direction of path 7 of FIG. 2.

[0115] In addition, since the light of the second polarization, i.e., right-circular polarization, is filtered by the polarizer (130), the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 is not refracted in the third direction, i.e., in the direction of path 12 of FIG. 2, and thus may not be refracted in the fourth direction, i.e., in the direction of path 14 of FIG. 2.

[0116] According to the above-described embodiment with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, since the display system (1000) filters light of a specific polarization using a polarizer (130), the proportion of light reflected by the screen (200) that is provided in a direction that is not toward the position of the eye box (20) is reduced, and thus noise in the image provided to the user can be significantly reduced.

[0117] Next, an embodiment will be described below with reference to FIG. 5 together with FIG. 3. As illustrated in FIG. 3 and FIG. 5, the screen (200) may further include a quarter-wave plate (QWP) (230) in addition to the geometric phase layer (210) and the retroreflective layer (220).

[0118] The 'quarter wave plate (230)' refers to a configuration that can adjust the polarization of light incident in a specific direction. Specifically, the quarter wave plate (230) may include a 'first quarter wave plate' that adjusts the polarization of light incident from the retroreflective layer (220) and a 'second quarter wave plate' that adjusts the polarization of light incident from the geometric phase layer (210). In addition, the quarter wave plate (230) may be arranged between the geometric phase layer (210) and the retroreflective layer (220).

[0119] According to one embodiment, the screen (200) may further include a first quarter wave plate (230). And, if the polarization of light incident on the first quarter wave plate (230) after being reflected by the retroreflective layer (220) is the second polarization, the polarization of the light incident on the first quarter wave plate (230) may be adjusted to the first polarization, and the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) after being adjusted to the first polarization by the first quarter wave plate (230) may be refracted in a fifth direction similar to the second direction.

[0120] Referring to FIG. 5, if the polarization of light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 is right-hand circular polarization, the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 can be adjusted to left-hand circular polarization and refracted in the third direction, i.e., the direction of path 5. The light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 5 can be adjusted to right-hand circular polarization by the retroreflective layer (220) and reflected in the direction of path 6. The light incident on the first quarter wave plate (230) through path 6 after being reflected by the retroreflective layer (220) can be adjusted to left-hand circular polarization and can be incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 6. The light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 6 can be adjusted to right-hand circular polarization and refracted in the fifth direction similar to the second direction. Accordingly, light can be provided in the direction of path 15, which is similar to the direction of path 4.

[0121] Here, the 'fifth direction' refers to a direction similar to the second direction toward the eye box (20) rather than the fourth direction that does not face the preset eye box (20). Depending on the embodiment, the fifth direction may coincide with the second direction.

[0122] In other words, when the polarization of the light reflected by the retroreflective layer (220) is not adjusted to left-circular polarization by the first quarter wave plate (230) but is incident on the geometric phase layer (210) in a state of right-circular polarization, the light ultimately provided through the screen (200) can be refracted in the fourth direction, that is, in the direction of path 7 of FIG. 2, whereas when the polarization of the light reflected by the retroreflective layer (220) is adjusted to left-circular polarization by the first quarter wave plate (230) and then is incident on the geometric phase layer (210), the light ultimately provided through the screen (200) can be refracted in the fifth direction, that is, in the direction of path 15.

[0123] As illustrated in FIG. 5, if the polarization of light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 is right-hand circular polarization, the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 can be refracted in a third direction, that is, in the direction of path 12, while being adjusted to left-hand circular polarization. The light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 12 can be reflected in the direction of path 13 while being adjusted to right-hand circular polarization by the retroreflective layer (220). The light incident on the first quarter wave plate (230) through path 13 after being reflected by the retroreflective layer (220) can be adjusted to left-hand circular polarization and can be incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 13. The light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 13 can be refracted in a fifth direction similar to the second direction while being adjusted to right-hand circular polarization. Accordingly, light can be provided in the direction of path 16, which is similar to the direction of path 11.

[0124] In other words, when the polarization of the light reflected by the retroreflective layer (220) is not adjusted to left-circular polarization by the first quarter wave plate (230) but is incident on the geometric phase layer (210) in a state of right-circular polarization, the light ultimately provided through the screen (200) can be refracted in the fourth direction, that is, in the direction of path 14 of FIG. 2, whereas when the polarization of the light reflected by the retroreflective layer (220) is adjusted to left-circular polarization by the first quarter wave plate (230) and then is incident on the geometric phase layer (210), the light ultimately provided through the screen (200) can be refracted in the fifth direction, that is, in the direction of path 16.

[0125] Meanwhile, according to one embodiment, the screen (200) may further include a second quarter wave plate. And, if the polarization of light incident on the second quarter wave plate (230) after being refracted by the geometric phase layer (210) is the first polarization, the polarization of the light incident on the second quarter wave plate (230) may be adjusted to the second polarization, and the light adjusted to the second polarization by the second quarter wave plate (230) may be reflected in the opposite direction to the third direction while being adjusted to the first polarization by the retroreflective layer (220), and the light reflected in the opposite direction to the third direction by the retroreflective layer (220) may be refracted in the fifth direction while being adjusted to the second polarization by the geometric phase layer (210).

[0126] In FIG. 5, the case where the quarter wave plate (230) is a first quarter wave plate (230) that adjusts the polarization of light incident from the retroreflective layer (220) is illustrated, but below, with reference to FIG. 5, the case where the quarter wave plate (230) is a second quarter wave plate that adjusts the polarization of light incident from the geometric phase layer (210) is described assuming that.

[0127] If the polarization of light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 is right-circular polarization, the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 1 can be adjusted to left-circular polarization and refracted in the third direction, that is, the direction of path 5. The light incident on the second quarter wave plate (230) through path 5 can be adjusted to right-circular polarization and can be incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 5. The light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 5 can be adjusted to left-circular polarization by the retroreflective layer (220) and reflected in the direction of path 6. The light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 6 can be adjusted to right-circular polarization and refracted in the fifth direction similar to the second direction. Accordingly, the light can be provided in the direction of path 15 similar to the direction of path 4.

[0128] In other words, when light emitted from multiple projectors (110, 120) passes through the geometric phase layer (210) and is not adjusted to right-circular polarization by the second quarter wave plate (230) but is incident on the retroreflective layer (220) in a left-circular polarization state, the light ultimately provided through the screen (200) may be refracted in the fourth direction, i.e., in the direction of path 7 of FIG. 2, whereas when light emitted from multiple projectors (110, 120) passes through the geometric phase layer (210) and is adjusted to right-circular polarization by the second quarter wave plate (230) and is incident on the retroreflective layer (220), the light ultimately provided through the screen (200) may be refracted in the fifth direction, i.e., in the direction of path 15.

[0129] If the polarization of light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 is right-circular polarization, the light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 8 can be adjusted to left-circular polarization and refracted in the third direction, that is, the direction of path 12. The light incident on the second quarter wave plate (230) through path 12 can be adjusted to right-circular polarization and can be incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 12. The light incident on the retroreflective layer (220) through path 12 can be adjusted to left-circular polarization by the retroreflective layer (220) and reflected in the direction of path 13. The light incident on the geometric phase layer (210) through path 13 can be adjusted to right-circular polarization and refracted in the fifth direction similar to the second direction. Accordingly, the light can be provided in the direction of path 16 similar to the direction of path 11.

[0130] In other words, when light emitted from multiple projectors (110, 120) passes through the geometric phase layer (210) and is not adjusted to right-circular polarization by the second quarter wave plate (230) but is incident on the retroreflective layer (220) in a left-circular polarization state, the light ultimately provided through the screen (200) may be refracted in the fourth direction, i.e., in the direction of path 14 of FIG. 2, whereas when light emitted from multiple projectors (110, 120) passes through the geometric phase layer (210) and is adjusted to right-circular polarization by the second quarter wave plate (230) and is incident on the retroreflective layer (220), the light ultimately provided through the screen (200) may be refracted in the fifth direction, i.e., in the direction of path 16.

[0131] Meanwhile, the above described embodiment in which the quarter wave plate (230) is placed between the geometric phase layer (210) and the retroreflective layer (220), if the polarization of the incident light is reversed so that the light is not provided in a direction not toward the eye box (20) (path 7 and path 14 directions in FIG. 5) and instead is provided in a direction toward the eye box (20) and a similar direction (path 15 and 16 directions in FIG. 5), there is no particular limitation on the position of the quarter wave plate (230).

[0132] Meanwhile, the quarter wave plate (230) may also be used in conjunction with a polarizing plate that filters light of a specific polarization. That is, depending on the embodiment, the quarter wave plate (230) may be used to reverse the polarization of light and filter the light of the changed polarization with the polarizing plate, thereby ultimately providing light in a direction toward the eye box (20) or a similar direction.

[0133] According to the above-described embodiment with reference to FIGS. 3 and 5, by changing light of a specific polarization in the opposite direction by the quarter-wave plate (230), light in a direction similar to the direction toward the eye box (20) can be provided instead of a direction not toward the eye box (20), thereby significantly reducing noise in the image.

[0134] FIG. 6 is a block diagram briefly illustrating the configuration of a display device (300) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating a screen (200) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure being arranged on a display (330) included in a display device (300). Hereinafter, various embodiments will be described with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7 together.

[0135] The display system (1000) according to the present disclosure may further include a display device (300). Here, the 'display device (300)' refers to a device capable of displaying an image, including a display (330). For example, the display device (300) may be a 2D TV capable of displaying a 2D image, but is not limited thereto.

[0136] Referring to FIG. 6, the display device (300) may include a memory (310), a processor (320), and a display (330). However, in carrying out the present disclosure, it is understood that new configurations may be added or some configurations may be omitted in addition to the configurations shown in FIG. 6.

[0137] At least one instruction regarding the electronic device (100) may be stored in the memory (310). In addition, an O / S (Operating System) for driving the electronic device (100) may be stored in the memory (310). In addition, various software programs or applications for operating the electronic device (100) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure may be stored in the memory (310). In addition, the memory (310) may include a semiconductor memory (310) such as a flash memory (310) or a magnetic storage medium such as a hard disk.

[0138] Specifically, the memory (310) may store various software modules for operating the electronic device (100) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure, and the processor (320) may control the operation of the electronic device (100) by executing the various software modules stored in the memory (310). That is, the memory (310) is accessed by the processor (320), and data reading / recording / modifying / deleting / updating, etc. may be performed by the processor (320).

[0139] Meanwhile, in the present disclosure, the term memory (310) may be used to mean memory (310), ROM (read only memory), RAM (random access memory) in the processor (320), or a memory (310) card (e.g., micro SD (secure digital) card, memory (310) stick) mounted in the electronic device (100).

[0140] In particular, in one embodiment, the memory (310) may store image data corresponding to an image displayed on the display (330). In addition, various information necessary within the scope of achieving the purpose of the present disclosure may be stored in the memory (310), and the information stored in the memory (310) may be updated as received from an external device or input by a user.

[0141] The processor (320) controls the overall operation of the electronic device (100). Specifically, the processor (320) is connected to the configuration of the electronic device (100) including the display (330) and the memory (310), and can control the overall operation of the electronic device (100) by executing at least one instruction stored in the memory (310) as described above.

[0142] The processor (320) may be implemented in various ways. For example, the processor (320) may be implemented as at least one of an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC), an embedded processor (320), a microprocessor (320), hardware control logic, a hardware finite state machine (FSM), and a digital signal processor (320) (Digital Signal Processor, DSP). Meanwhile, the term "processor (320)" in the present disclosure may be used to mean a central processing unit (CPU), a graphic processing unit (GPU), and a microprocessor unit (MPU).

[0143] In particular, in one embodiment, the processor (320) may control the display (330) to display an image based on image data stored in the memory (310). In addition, when light for providing a three-dimensional image is emitted from a plurality of projection units (110, 120) of the electronic device (100), the processor (320) may control the display (330) to provide information about the three-dimensional image projected on the screen (200) on a portion of the display (330).

[0144] The display (330) can display an image. Specifically, the display (330) can output an image corresponding to image data previously stored in the memory (310) under the control of the processor (320). In addition, the display (330) can also display a user interface (UI) stored in the memory (310). The display (330) can be implemented as an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display Panel), an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes), etc., and in some cases, the display (330) can also be implemented as a flexible display (330), a transparent display (330), etc. However, the display (330) according to the present disclosure is not limited to a specific type.

[0145] In particular, in one embodiment, the display (330) may include a screen (200) according to the present disclosure. That is, the screen (200) according to the present disclosure may be attached to a wall or an object in a viewing space, and in particular, the screen (200) may be attached to a display device (300) among the objects. Specifically, the screen (200) according to the present disclosure may be placed on at least a portion of an area of a display (330) included in a display device (300). Meanwhile, the screen (200) may be placed inside the display (330) or may be attached on a surface of the display (330).

[0146] Referring to FIG. 7, the screen (200) may be placed on a portion of a display (330) included in the display device (300). However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and in particular, when the display (330) is implemented as a transparent display (330), the screen (200) may be placed on the entire area of the display (330).

[0147] Meanwhile, at least a portion of the display (330) where the screen (200) is arranged may be included in an area where a black matrix (BM) is formed in the display (330). Specifically, the display (330) may include an R subpixel for displaying a red color, a G subpixel for displaying a green color, a B subpixel for displaying a blue color, and a W subpixel for displaying a white color, as shown in 710 or 720 of FIG. 7, and may include a black matrix that blocks light between each subpixel as a black area arranged around each subpixel, as shown in the hatched area of 710 or 720 of FIG. 7. In addition, the screen (200) may be arranged in an area where such a black matrix is formed.

[0148] According to the embodiment described above with reference to FIG. 7, the display system (1000) can display a two-dimensional image using the display (330) by arranging a screen (200) including a geometric phase layer (210) and a retroreflective layer (220) according to the present disclosure on the display (330) of the display device (300), and can provide a three-dimensional image by projecting light emitted by the electronic device (100) onto the screen (200) arranged on the display (330) when providing a two-dimensional image.

[0149] In particular, according to the embodiment of FIG. 7, a user can efficiently receive two-dimensional images and three-dimensional images by having a display device (300) equipped with a screen (200) according to the present disclosure, without having to separately prepare a screen (200) for projecting images and place it in a separate space. In addition, when implementing the screen (200) in the display device (300), if the extra space of the display (330), such as a black matrix, is utilized, the display system (1000) can be implemented more efficiently.

[0150] FIG. 8 is a drawing showing a screen (200) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure being placed on a plurality of walls constituting a user's viewing space.

[0151] In the above, various embodiments have been described on the premise that the screen (200) according to the present disclosure is arranged on the front of the electronic device (100). However, when the screen (200) is arranged only on the front of the electronic device (100), the screen (200) is optimized for light incident at 90 degrees due to the characteristics of the retroreflective layer (220) and the geometric phase layer (210), and can generally reflect light incident at an angle of ±30 degrees in the direction toward the eye-box (20). That is, when the screen (200) is arranged only on the front of the electronic device (100), it may be difficult to effectively provide light incident at an angle of ±30 degrees or more in the direction toward the eye-box (20).

[0152] On the other hand, if the screen (200) is placed not only on the front side of the electronic device (100), but also on the left side, right side, ceiling side, and bottom side, it is possible to effectively reflect light of various angles emitted from the electronic device (100) and provide light in the direction toward the eye box (20). Therefore, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the screen (200) may be placed on at least two of the front side, left side, right side, ceiling side, and bottom side of the electronic device (100).

[0153] For example, referring to FIG. 8, the screen (200) may include a first screen (200-1) disposed on the front of the electronic device (100), a second screen (200-2) disposed on the ceiling, and a third screen (200-3) disposed on the floor. In addition, each of the first screen (200-1), the second screen (200-2), and the third screen (200-3) may include a geometric phase layer (210) and a retroreflective layer (220) according to the present disclosure. In addition, when light for providing an image is emitted from the electronic device (100) as illustrated by the dotted line in FIG. 8, the screen (200) may reflect the light so that it is gathered in a direction toward the eye box (20) as illustrated by the dashed line in FIG. 8.

[0154] Of course, in the case where the screen (200) is arranged not only on the front side of the electronic device (100), but also on the left side, right side, ceiling side, and floor side, it is necessary to design the display system (1000) by considering the incidence angle of light optimized for each of the plurality of screens of the screen (200). In particular, the incidence angle of light optimized for each of the plurality of screens of the screen (200) may be determined based on at least one of the shape, size, and spacing of the pattern formed on the geometric phase layer (210) and the retroreflective layer (220), as described above.

[0155] According to the embodiment described above with reference to FIG. 8, by installing multiple screens of screens (200) that can focus light to the eye box (20) throughout the user's viewing space, the space and the image can be matched, and thus the user's sense of immersion in the image can be significantly improved.

[0156] Meanwhile, since the screen (200) according to the present disclosure includes a retroreflective layer (220) together with a geometric phase layer (210), it has not only a function (or characteristic) of providing light emitted from the electronic device (100) by refracting it in a direction toward a preset location, but also a function of reflecting the light emitted from the electronic device (100). In addition, as the luminance of the light emitted from the electronic device (100) is increased, the ratio at which the function of reflecting the light emitted from the electronic device (100) is expressed can be increased more than the function of refracting the light emitted from the electronic device (100) in a direction toward a preset location. Conversely, as the luminance of the light emitted from the electronic device (100) is decreased, the function of refracting the light emitted from the electronic device (100) in a direction toward a preset location can be emphasized more than the function of reflecting the light emitted from the electronic device (100).

[0157] Accordingly, the electronic device (100) may control the brightness of light emitted by the plurality of projectors (110, 120) differently for providing a two-dimensional image and for providing a three-dimensional image. That is, when a request for providing a two-dimensional image is received, the electronic device (100) may emit light of higher brightness than when providing a three-dimensional image, and when a request for providing a three-dimensional image is received, the electronic device (100) may emit light of lower brightness than when providing a two-dimensional image.

[0158] Meanwhile, the above description has been made regarding an embodiment in which the display system (1000) includes a plurality of projection units (110, 120), i.e., includes only one electronic device (100), but the present disclosure is not limited thereto.

[0159] That is, the display system (1000) may further include an external device including a plurality of external projectors that emit light corresponding to a three-dimensional image, in addition to the electronic device (100). In addition, the plurality of external projectors may include a first external projector that emits light to be provided to the left eye of a second user and a second external projector that emits light to be provided to the right eye of the second user, and the external device may be positioned at a different location from the electronic device (100).

[0160] In addition, the screen (200) may be implemented so that when light emitted from an electronic device (100) placed at a first position is incident, the light is ultimately provided in a direction toward the eye box (20) of the first user, and when light emitted from an external device placed at a second position is incident, the light is ultimately provided in a direction toward the eye box (20) of the second user. In other words, various embodiments according to the present disclosure may also be applied to cases where a 3D image that is significantly brighter than a conventional technology is provided to both eyes of a plurality of users.

[0161] Meanwhile, the control method of the electronic device (100) and / or the control method of the display device (300) according to the above-described embodiment may be implemented as a program and provided to the electronic device (100). In particular, a program including the control method of the electronic device (100) and / or the control method of the display device (300) may be stored and provided in a non-transitory computer readable medium.

[0162] A device-readable storage medium may be provided in the form of a non-transitory storage medium. Here, the term "non-transitory storage medium" simply means a tangible device that does not contain signals (e.g., electromagnetic waves). This term does not distinguish between cases where data is permanently stored in the storage medium and cases where data is temporarily stored. For example, a "non-transitory storage medium" may include a buffer in which data is temporarily stored.

[0163] According to one embodiment, the method according to the various embodiments disclosed in the present document may be provided as included in a computer program product. The computer program product may be traded as a product between a seller and a buyer. The computer program product may be distributed in the form of a machine-readable storage medium (e.g., compact disc read only memory (CD-ROM)), or may be distributed online (e.g., downloaded or uploaded) via an application store (e.g., Play Store™) or directly between two user devices (e.g., smartphones). In the case of online distribution, at least a portion of the computer program product (e.g., downloadable app) may be temporarily stored or temporarily generated in a machine-readable storage medium, such as a memory (310) of a manufacturer's server, an application store's server, or a relay server.

[0164] Each of the components (e.g., modules or programs) according to the various embodiments of the present disclosure as described above may be composed of a single or multiple entities, and some of the sub-components described above may be omitted, or other sub-components may be further included in the various embodiments. Alternatively or additionally, some components (e.g., modules or programs) may be integrated into a single entity, which may perform the same or similar functions as those performed by each of the respective components prior to integration.

[0165] According to various embodiments, operations performed by a module, program or other component may be executed sequentially, in parallel, iteratively or heuristically, or at least some operations may be executed in a different order, omitted, or other operations may be added.

[0166] Meanwhile, the terms "part" or "module" used in the present disclosure include units composed of hardware, software, or firmware, and may be used interchangeably with terms such as logic, logic block, component, or circuit. A "part" or "module" may be an integrally composed component, a minimum unit performing one or more functions, or a portion thereof. For example, a module may be composed of an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC).

[0167] Various embodiments of the present disclosure may be implemented as software including instructions stored in a machine-readable storage medium that can be read by a machine (e.g., a computer). The device may include an electronic device (e.g., an electronic device (100)) according to the disclosed embodiments, which is a device capable of calling instructions stored in the storage medium and operating according to the called instructions.

[0168] When the above instruction is executed by the processor, the processor may perform the function corresponding to the instruction directly or by using other components under the control of the processor. The instruction may include code generated or executed by a compiler or interpreter.

[0169] While the present disclosure has been illustrated and described with reference to various embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and detail may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
