[0039] Example 1:

[0040] Referring to Figures 1 to 3 and 8, this embodiment provides a battery pack 100 comprising an exhaust cooling assembly 1 and a plurality of battery cells 2. The exhaust cooling assembly 1 is provided with independent exhaust channels 111 and liquid cooling channels 112. The exhaust channels 111 and liquid cooling channels 112 may be adjacent or non-adjacent cavities. The liquid cooling channels 112 and the exhaust channels 111 may extend in parallel, and the plurality of battery cells 2 may be arranged along the length of the liquid cooling channels 112. The battery cells 2 are provided with a first wall 21 that abuts the exhaust cooling assembly 1. The first wall 21 is provided with an explosion-proof valve 211, and the explosion-proof valve 211 is at least partially opposed to the exhaust channel 111 so that fluid flowing out of the explosion-proof valve 211 can enter the exhaust channel 111. The liquid cooling channels 112 can cool the battery cells 2, reducing the possibility of overheating and other hazards. On the other hand, if a battery cell 2 catches fire, the fluid flowing out of the explosion-proof valve 211 flows toward the exhaust duct 111 and, guided by the exhaust duct 111, is discharged from the battery pack 100, preventing the temperature of other battery cells 2 in the battery pack 100 from rising. This slows the spread of heat, thereby reducing the scope of the battery cell 2 explosion hazard and improving the thermal safety of the battery pack 100. Furthermore, integrating the exhaust duct 111 and the liquid cooling duct 112 into the exhaust cooling assembly 1 also improves the overall space utilization of the battery pack.

[0041] Preferably, referring to Figures 1 and 4, in this embodiment, the battery pack 100 further includes a housing 3, which includes a frame 31. The frame 31 defines a housing 32. The exhaust cooling assembly 1 and multiple battery cells 2 are both disposed within the housing 32. The frame 31 defines a first flow channel 311 that communicates with the exhaust flow channel 111. When a battery cell 2 explodes, the velocity of the hot air flow gradually decreases as it flows through the exhaust flow channel 111 and the first flow channel 311. Guided by the exhaust flow channel 111 and the first flow channel 311, the hot air flow transfers the destructive force toward the housing 3, thereby effectively reducing damage to the interior of the battery pack 100. Specifically, in this embodiment, the housing 3 is equipped with an explosion-proof valve that communicates with the first flow channel 311. The hot air flows through the first flow channel 311 toward the explosion-proof valve and is discharged by the explosion-proof valve, further reducing the damage to the battery pack 100 caused by the explosion.

[0042] Preferably, referring to Figures 1 to 6 , in this embodiment, the exhaust cooling assembly 1 is provided with a weakened portion 113, which is located between the exhaust flow channel 111 and the explosion-proof valve 211. If a battery cell 2 explodes, the resulting hot air flow rushes out of the weakened portion 113 and into the explosion-proof valve 211, thereby preventing the hot air flow in the exhaust flow channel 111 from affecting other battery cells 2. Specifically, in this embodiment, the weakened portion 113 is formed by thinning the portion of the exhaust cooling assembly 1 between the exhaust flow channel 111 and the explosion-proof valve 211.

[0043] Preferably, referring to FIG3 , in this embodiment, the exhaust cooling assembly 1 includes an exhaust cooling body 11 and a partition plate 12 . A cavity 114 is defined within the exhaust cooling body 11. The partition plate 12 is disposed within the cavity 114 and divides the cavity 114 into an exhaust flow channel 111 and a liquid cooling flow channel 112 . The partition plate 12 prevents coolant from flowing from the liquid cooling flow channel 112 into the exhaust flow channel 111 and then into the battery cells. Furthermore, the partition plate 12 also provides heat conduction, utilizing the coolant within the liquid cooling flow channel 112 to cool the gas within the exhaust flow channel 111, thereby rapidly reducing the risk of a fire in the battery cells 2.

[0044] Preferably, referring to FIG. 3 , in this embodiment, multiple partition plates 12 are provided and spaced apart along the second direction Y. The multiple partition plates 12 divide the cavity 114 into at least one exhaust channel 111 and at least two liquid-cooling channels 112, and at least one exhaust channel 111 is provided between at least some adjacent liquid-cooling channels 112. In the event of an explosion in a battery cell 2, the hot air flowing along the exhaust channel 111 is cooled by the coolant in the liquid-cooling channel 112 on both sides of the partition plates 12, further reducing the destructive potential of the hot air flow.

[0045] Preferably, referring to FIG6 , in this embodiment, the exhaust cooling assembly 1 further includes a plug 13 , which is fixed to both ends of the exhaust cooling body 11 along a first direction X. The exhaust cooling body 11 is provided with a liquid inlet 115 and a liquid outlet 116 , and a liquid cooling channel 112 connects the liquid inlet 115 and the liquid outlet 116 . The plug 13 can be used to both limit the position of the exhaust cooling body 11 and seal both ends of the exhaust cooling body 11 to reduce the overflow of hot air. Specifically, in this embodiment, the first direction X is the same as the length direction of the exhaust cooling body 11, the second direction Y is the same as the width direction of the exhaust cooling body 11, and the first direction X and the second direction Y are perpendicular to each other.

[0046] Preferably, referring to Figure 2 , in this embodiment, the exhaust cooling assembly 1 further includes an insulating layer 15 , which is disposed between the battery cell 2 and the exhaust cooling assembly 1 . The insulating layer 15 defines a second through-hole 151 opposite the explosion-proof valve 211 . Specifically, in this embodiment, the projection of the battery cell 2 in its thickness direction is within the insulating layer 15 , so that the insulating layer 15 covers the entire battery cell 2 , preventing direct contact between the battery cell 2 and the exhaust cooling assembly 1 from generating an arc. Fluid that ruptures the battery cell 2 through the explosion-proof valve 211 can be discharged through the second through-hole 151 .

[0047] Preferably, referring to Figures 2 and 8 , in this embodiment, a thermal pad 4 is disposed between the exhaust cooling assembly 1 and the battery cell 2. The thermal pad 4 defines a fourth through-hole 41 opposite the explosion-proof valve 211. Specifically, in this embodiment, the thickness projection of the battery cell 2 extends within the thermal pad 4, allowing the thermal pad 4 to cover the entire battery cell 2. The thermal pad 4 not only assists in temperature regulation of the battery cell 2 but also serves as a buffer. Fluid released from the battery cell 2 after it explodes through the explosion-proof valve 211 can be discharged through the fourth through-hole 41.

[0048] Preferably, referring to Figures 1 and 7 , in this embodiment, the housing 3 further includes a first plate 33 and a second plate 34 intersecting and connected to the frame 31. The first plate 33 defines a slot 331, into which the second plate 34 engages. The exhaust cooling assembly 1 includes multiple first plates 33, with at least one first plate 33 positioned between adjacent exhaust cooling bodies 11. The second plate 34 positions the first plate 33, and the first and second plates 33 and 34 form a storage space, which improves the modality of the battery cells 2 and thereby enhances the safety of the battery cells 2.

[0049] Preferably, referring to FIG1 , in this embodiment, the housing 3 further includes a third plate 35 , which is disposed in the accommodating cavity 32 and divides the accommodating cavity 32 into a first space 321 and a second space 322 arranged along the first direction X. A plurality of battery cells 2 are disposed in the first space 321 , and the second space 322 is used to accommodate an electrical module, which may be a battery management system or a high-voltage circuit breaker module. The high-voltage circuit breaker module may include a relay, a current sensor, and the like. The input end of the electrical module is connected to the plurality of battery cells 2 , and the output end is connected to an electrical appliance, thereby outputting power from the plurality of battery cells 2 to the appliance. The electrical module and the plurality of battery cells 2 are disposed in the second space 322 and the first space 321 , respectively. In the event of a fault, only the space where the fault occurs needs to be repaired or replaced, thereby improving the convenience of repair and maintenance.

[0050] Preferably, referring to Figure 6 , in this embodiment, the battery pack 100 further includes a gasket 5 . The gasket 5 is provided between the exhaust cooling assembly 1 and the frame 31 , between the exhaust cooling assembly 1 and the first plate 33 , between the exhaust cooling assembly 1 and the second plate 34 , and between the exhaust cooling assembly 1 and the third plate 35 . The presence of the gasket 5 creates a certain amount of space between the battery cells 2 and the exhaust cooling assembly 1 , preventing the battery cells 2 from being squeezed and causing a short circuit. It also increases the torque of the bolts connecting the exhaust cooling assembly 1 to the frame 31 , the first plate 33 , the second plate 34 , and the third plate 35 .

[0051] Preferably, referring to FIG. 1 , in this embodiment, the frame 31 includes a first side 31a, a second side 31b, a third side 31c, and a fourth side 31d, each of which is connected in sequence. A first flow channel 311 is defined in each of the first side 31a, the second side 31b, the third side 31c, and the fourth side 31d. The first side 31a, the second side 31b, the third side 31c, and the fourth side 31d are each defined by a first through hole 312. Hot air flows from the exhaust flow channel 111 and the weak portion 113 into the first flow channel 311, and then into the frame 31 from the first flow channel 311. Hot air flows along the first side 31a, the second side 31b, the third side 31c, and the fourth side 31d to be sufficiently cooled before being exhausted from the first through hole 312. This substantially reduces the velocity of the hot air flow, thereby preventing damage caused by excessive hot air velocity when exhausted through the first through hole 312.

[0052] Example 2:

[0053] Preferably, the weak portion 113 can also be formed in other forms. In this embodiment, the exhaust cooling assembly 1 also includes a cover plate 14, and part or all of the cover plate 14 forms the weak portion 113. The exhaust cooling body 11 is provided with a third through hole 117 connected to the exhaust flow channel 111. The cover plate 14 covers the third through hole 117, and the cover plate 14 is arranged opposite to the explosion-proof valve 211, so that the material of the weak portion 113 can be different from that of the exhaust cooling body 11. Mica sheets, ceramic rubber, aerogel and other materials with various fire-resistant properties can be used to make the weak portion 113 during the production process to improve the safety of the battery pack 100.

[0054] Example 3:

[0055] Preferably, the number and position of the first through holes 312 can be varied. In this embodiment, at least one of the first side 31a, the second side 31b, the third side 31c, and the fourth side 31d is provided with a first through hole 312. This allows the thermal energy to be released quickly from the first through holes 312 on the adjacent sides, thereby reducing the possibility of damaging the frame 31.

[0056] It should be noted that, as long as no conflict is constituted, the various embodiments in this application and the various features in each embodiment can be combined with each other, and the technical solutions formed are all within the protection scope of this application.

[0057] The battery pack 100 of this embodiment has the following beneficial effects:

[0058] First, during normal use, the liquid cooling channel 112 cools the battery cells 2, reducing the possibility of overheating and other hazards. Secondly, if a battery cell 2 explodes, the explosion-proof valve directs the hot gas generated by the explosion to the exhaust channel 111, where it is guided out of the battery pack 100. This prevents the explosion from causing wider damage within the battery pack 100, thereby reducing the scope of the explosion hazard.

[0059] 2. When the battery cell 2 explodes, the hot air flow gradually decreases in speed while flowing in the exhaust flow channel 111 and the first flow channel 311, and the destructive force is transferred to the box body 3 under the guidance of the exhaust flow channel 111 and the first flow channel 311, thereby effectively reducing the destructiveness to the interior of the battery pack 100.

[0060] 3. When the battery cell 2 explodes, the hot air flowing along the exhaust channel 111 is cooled by the coolant in the liquid cooling channel 112 through the partition plate 12 on both sides, further reducing the destructiveness of the hot air flow.

[0061] The above is a preferred embodiment of the present application. It should be pointed out that for ordinary technicians in this technical field, several improvements and modifications can be made without departing from the principles of the present application. These improvements and modifications are also considered to be within the scope of protection of the present application.
