Description

TITLE CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION REPORTING PRIORITY FOR LAYER TRIGGERED MOBILITY TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] Some example embodiments may generally relate to mobile or wireless telecommunication systems, such as 3rdGeneration Partnership Project (3GPP) Long Term Evolution (LTE), 5thgeneration (5G) radio access technology (RAT), new radio (NR) access technology, 6thgeneration (6G), and / or other communications systems. For example, certain example embodiments may relate to systems and / or methods for determining priority for layer 1 / 2 triggered mobility (LTM) channel state information (CSI) reports with a CSI priority framework. BACKGROUND

[0002] Examples of mobile or wireless telecommunication systems may include radio frequency (RF) 5G RAT, the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN), LTE Evolved UTRAN (E-UTRAN), LTE-Advanced (LTE-A), LTE-A Pro, NR access technology, and / or MulteFire Alliance. 5G wireless systems refer to the next generation (NG) of radio systems and network architecture. A 5G system is typically built on a 5G NR, but a 5G (or NG) network may also be built on E-UTRA radio. It is expected that NR can support service categories such as enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), ultra-reliable low-latency- communication (URLLC), and massive machine-type communication (mMTC). NR is expected to deliver extreme broadband, ultra-robust, low-latency connectivity, and massive networking to support the Internet of Things (IoT). The next generation radio access network (NG-RAN) represents the radio access network (RAN) for 5G, which may provide radio access for NR, LTE, and LTE-A. It is noted that the nodes in 5G providing radio access functionality to a user equipment (UE) (e.g., similar to the Node B in UTRAN or the Evolved Node B (eNB) in LTE) may be referred to as next-generation Node B (gNB) when built on NR radio, and may be referred to as next- generation eNB (NG-eNB) when built on E-UTRA radio. [0011] FIG. 2 illustrates an example of various network devices according to some example embodiments; and

[0012] FIG.3 illustrates an example of a 5G network and system architecture according to certain example embodiments.DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0013] It will be readily understood that the components of certain example embodiments, as generally described and illustrated in the figures herein, may be arranged and designed in a wide variety of different configurations. Thus, the following detailed description of some example embodiments of systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for determining priority for LTM CSI reports with a CSI priority framework is not intended to limit the scope of certain example embodiments, but is instead representative of selected example embodiments.

[0014] Priority rules may be used for channel state information (CSI) reporting on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). For example, for two overlapping PUSCHs, the priority rules may be applied for physical channels with the same priority index. CSI reports may be associated with a priority valueaperiodic CSI reports to be carried on PUSCH, y=1 for semi-persistent CSI reports to be carried on PUSCH, y=2 for semi-persistent CSI reports to be carried on physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), and y=3 for periodic CSI reports to be carried on PUCCH. In addition, k=0 for CSI reports carrying layer 1 (L1)-reference signal received power (RSRP) or L1-signal to noise ratio (SINR), and k=1 for CSI reports not carrying L1-RSRP or L1-SINR. Furthermore, c may be a serving cell index, and ^^^^^^may be a value of a higher layer parameter maxNrofServingCells; similarly, s may be the reportConfigID, and Msmay be the value of the higher layer parameter maxNrofCSI-ReportConfigurations. A first CSI report may have priority over a second CSI report if an associated PriiCSI(y,k,c,s) value is lower for the first CSI report than for the second CSI report.

[0015] Two CSI reports may collide if a time occupancy of the physical channels scheduled to carry the CSI reports overlap in at least one orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol, and may be transmitted on the same carrier. When a UE is configured to transmit two colliding CSI reports, if y values are different between the two CSI reports, the CSI report with a higher PriiCSI(y,k,c,s)value may not be sent by the UE, except if one of the y value is 2 and the other y value is 3. Otherwise, the two CSI reports may be multiplexed or either dropped based on the priority values.

[0016] If a semi-persistent CSI report to be carried on PUSCH overlaps in time with PUSCH data transmission in one or more symbols on the same carrier, and if the earliest symbol of these PUSCH channels starts no earlier than N2+d2,1 symbols after the last symbol of the downlink control information (DCI) scheduling the PUSCH where d2,1is the maximum of the d2,1associated with the PUSCH carrying semi- persistent CSI reports and the PUSCH with data transmission, the CSI report may not be transmitted by the UE. Otherwise, if the timeline requirement is not satisfied, this may be an error case.

[0017] If a UE would transmit a first PUSCH that includes semi-persistent CSI reports and a second PUSCH that includes an uplink (UL)-shared channel (SCH) on the same carrier, and the first PUSCH transmission would overlap in time with the second PUSCH transmission, the UE may not transmit the first PUSCH, and instead transmit the second PUSCH. The UE may expect that the first and second PUSCH transmissions satisfy the above timing conditions for PUSCH transmissions that overlap in time when at least one of the first or second PUSCH transmissions is in response to a DCI format detection by the UE.

[0018] Aperiodic CSI reporting procedures may assume that the CSI reporting is triggered by DCI format 0_1, but they may equally apply to CSI reporting triggered by DCI format 0_2, by applying the higher layer parameter reportTriggerSizeDCI-0- 2 instead of reportTriggerSize. The time and frequency resources that can be used by the UE to report CSI may controlled by a base station (e.g., gNB). CSI may consist of a channel quality indicator (CQI), precoding matrix indicator (PMI), CSI-RS resource indicator (CRI), SS / PBCH block resource indicator (SSBRI), layer indicator (LI), rank indicator (RI), L1-RSRP, L1-SINR, and / or capability index.

[0019] For CQI, PMI, CRI, SSBRI, LI, RI, L1-RSRP, L1-SINR, and capability index, a UE may be configured by higher layers with N≥1 CSI-ReportConfig reporting settings, M≥1 CSI-ResourceConfig resource settings, and / or one or more lists oftrigger states (e.g., given by higher layer parameters such as CSI- AperiodicTriggerStateList and CSI-SemiPersistentOnPUSCH-TriggerStateList). Each trigger state in CSI-AperiodicTriggerStateList may contain a list of associated CSI-ReportConfigs indicating the resource set identifiers for channel, and optionally for interference. Each trigger state in CSI-SemiPersistentOnPUSCH-TriggerStateList may contain an associated CSI-ReportConfig.

[0020] Each reporting setting CSI-ReportConfig may be associated with a single downlink bandwidth part (BWP) (indicated by higher layer parameter BWP-Id) given in the associated CSI-ResourceConfig for channel measurement, and may contain parameters for one CSI reporting band: codebook configuration including codebook subset restriction, time-domain behavior, frequency granularity for CQI and PMI, measurement restriction configurations, and the CSI-related quantities to be reported by the UE such as the layer indicator (LI), L1-RSRP, L1-SINR, CRI, and SSBRI, and capability index.

[0021] The time domain behavior of the CSI-ReportConfig may be indicated by the higher layer parameter reportConfigType, and may be set to 'aperiodic', 'semiPersistentOnPUCCH', 'semiPersistentOnPUSCH', or 'periodic'. For 'periodic' and 'semiPersistentOnPUCCH' / 'semiPersistentOnPUSCH' CSI reporting, the configured periodicity and slot offset may apply in the numerology of the UL BWP in which the CSI report is configured to be transmitted on. The higher layer parameter reportQuantity may indicate the CSI-related, L1-RSRP-related, L1-SINR-related or CapabilityIndex-related quantities to report. The reportFreqConfiguration may indicate the reporting granularity in the frequency domain, including the CSI reporting band, and if PMI / CQI reporting is wideband or sub-band. The timeRestrictionForChannelMeasurements parameter in CSI-ReportConfig may be configured to enable time domain restriction for channel measurements, and timeRestrictionForInterferenceMeasurements can be configured to enable time domain restriction for interference measurements. The CSI-ReportConfig may also contain CodebookConfig, which may contain configuration parameters for Type-I, Type II, Enhanced Type II CSI, or Further Enhanced Type II Port Selection includingcodebook subset restriction when applicable, and configurations of group-based reporting. A UE may not be expected to be configured with a CSI report setting associated with a dormant DL BWP if the reportConfigType is set to ‘aperiodic.’

[0022] For Release-18 LTM, L1 measurement RSRP reporting for candidate cells may support where the UE is configured to make measurements (e.g., RSRP measurement using SSBs of candidate cells), and report to the serving cell. The measurement reports may be used by the serving cell to make further decisions related to cell switch.

[0023] All types of reporting, periodic reports on PUCCH, semi-persistent reports on PUCCH, semi-persistent reports on PUSCH, and aperiodic reports on PUSCH may be supported. In each report, the UE may be configured to select the beams across L cells from the configured candidate cells. In each report, M beams for each of the L cells may be reported. Additionally, the UE may be configured to include the beams of the current serving cell. Thus, if the UE is configured with parameter SpCellInclusion set to ‘enabled’ or ‘true’, the UE may report in a single reporting instance M different SSBRIs for the current special cell (SpCell) and each of the L-1 candidate cells. Otherwise, the UE may report in a single reporting instance M different SSBRIs for each of the L candidate cells.

[0024] For gNB scheduled L1 measurement reports for Rel-18 LTM, reporting as uplink control information (UCI), semi-persistent reporting on PUSCH and / or aperiodic reporting on PUSCH may be supported. In a single report instance, reporting for serving cell and candidate cells for intra-frequency and / or inter- frequency may be included.

[0025] For beam selection for SSB-based L1-RSRP measurement reports, beam selection may be performed across the L cells from configured (or activated, if introduced) cells (i.e., M beams for each of the L cells). M x L beams may be reported in a single report instance. Max values of M and L may indicate UE capabilities, and at least M x L=4 may be supported as a UE capability. The values of M and L may be configured to the UE in the reporting configuration. The report configuration may indicate whether a serving cell is always selected in the L cell selection performed bythe UE, and applicable when a UE is configured with L>=2, as well as at least one of the inter-frequency cells is always selected in the L cell selection performed by the UE, and applicable when a UE is configured with L>=2 and at least one cell in inter- frequency. Periodic and semi-persistent reporting on PUCCH may also be supported for gNB scheduled L1-measurement reporting.

[0026] For the beam selection for SSB based L1-RSRP measurement reports, for the values of M, L, the RRC configured candidate values may be defined as M = 1, 2, 3, 4, and L = [1], 2, 3, 4. The maximum value of M*L and combination of M and L may be based upon UE capability. For the beam selection for SSB based L1-RSRP measurement reports, the inclusion of a current SpCell in the L1 measurement report may be configurable.

[0027] Absolute and differential values may be used for L1-RSRP reporting. For example, for absolute L1-RSRP, the L1-RSRP value may be quantized to a 7-bit value in the range [-140, -44] dBm with 1dB step size. For differential L1-RSRP, the L1-RSRP value may be quantized to a 4-bit value where the differential L1-RSRP value is computed with 2 dB step size from reference L1-RSRP value. SSBRI among configured candidate cells may be included for each L1-RSRP report. The bit size of SSBRI may be ⌈log^(^^SSB)⌉, where ^^SSBmay be the number of configured SSBs in the corresponding resource set for the report. The format in the table below may be used for reporting: CSI report number CSI fields SSBRI #1 as in Table 6.3.1.1.2-6, if reported SSBRI #2 as in Table 6.3.1.1.2-6, if reported : CSI report #n SSBRI #L*M as in Table 6.3.1.1.2-6, if reported RSRP #1 as in Table 6.3.1.1.2-6, if reported Differential RSRP #2 as in Table 6.3.1.1.2-6, if reported : Differential RSRP #L*M as in Table 6.3.1.1.2-6, if reported

[0028] LTM may include L1 reporting of SSB based and / or CSI-RS based measurements for candidate cells. Although the CSI framework may be used which determines the priority value for the colliding CSI reports, current priority rules do not take into account the specific aspects relevant to LTM. The LTM CSI reports may be configured for the UE to report handover / cell switch related information (i.e., information that is used by the network to determine whether or not to switch the UEto a candidate cell and which target beam to indicate to UE (for performing the HO)). Thus, the LTM CSI reporting may be important for network and UE performance (e.g., throughput / HO interruption).

[0029] Certain example embodiments described herein may have various benefits and / or advantages to overcome the disadvantages described above. For example, certain example embodiments may determine priority for the LTM CSI reports with the CSI priority framework. Thus, certain example embodiments discussed below are directed to improvements in computer-related technology.

[0030] As discussed herein, the LTM CSI report or LTM report may include CSI reports including CSI reports configured for LTM measurements. In some example embodiments, an LTM CSI report may include CSI reporting configured for lower layer triggered mobility measurements. In some example embodiments, a CSI report may include CSI reporting for the serving cell measurements. In some example embodiments, the CSI report including serving cell measurements may be referred to as beam management (BM) CSI reports or just CSI reports. In some example embodiments, the CSI reporting (i.e., not LTM CSI reporting) may be referred to herein as beam management (BM) CSI or CSI reporting.

[0031] In some example embodiments, CSI reporting may include reporting of one or more quantities, such as CQI, PMI, CRI, SSBRI, LI, RI, L1-RSRP, L1-SINR, and capability index.

[0032] In certain example embodiments, CSI reporting priority handling / management for CSI reporting may include determining a priority based on one or more parameters, such as whether the CSI report is an LTM CSI report; whether the report includes a resource indicator (e.g., SSBRI) associated with the active TCI states for LTM; whether the report includes a resource indicator (e.g., SSBRI) for which PRACH has been transmitted; whether the report includes a resource indicator (e.g., SSBRI) for which the UE based TA has been measured; whether the report includes a resource indicator (e.g., SSBRI) for which downlink sync is maintained; whether the report includes a resource indicator (e.g., SSBRI) associated with SpCell (i.e., for the CSI report the inclusion of SpCell is configured); whether the report includes aresource indicator (e.g., SSBRI) that is included in the TCI state indicated for the LTM, prior to the cell switch; and LTM report time type. For example, report time types (e.g., LTM) may be aperiodic, semi-persistent, or periodic.

[0033] In some example embodiments, the priority value for a CSI report may be determined based on whether the CSI report is an LTM report. For example, the UE may apply at least one parameter value to the priority calculation / determination, such as the at least one parameter value is related to the report time type and CSI report is LTM report; the at least one parameter value is related to the reported measurement quantity and CSI report is LTM report; and the at least one parameter value is related to the reporting configuration identifier and / or configuration limit related parameter and CSI report is LTM report. In various example embodiments, in case two aperiodic CSI reports collide, the LTM CSI report may have a higher priority. It is noted that any application of parameters may be further based on the one or more conditions listed in the certain example embodiments.

[0034] In certain example embodiments, the UE may determine the priority for CSI report collision between two equal priority LTM CSI reports based on the SpCell inclusion in the CSI report. The CSI report including SpCell information may have a higher priority than the CSI report not including the SpCell information. In some example embodiments, the UE may determine the at least one parameter used for determining the CSI reporting priority value based on a special cell inclusion in the at least one CSI report. In some example embodiments, the UE may determine the priority for CSI report collision between two equal (value) priority CSI reports; one of the reports is a LTM CSI report, and another may include a beam management (BM) CSI report. The LTM CSI report may have a higher priority. Alternatively, the priority of the LTM CSI report may be higher than the priority of the BM CSI and / or other LTM CSI report if SpCell information is included. The priority determination may be performed in combination of the conditions provided in any of the example embodiments described herein.

[0035] In some example embodiments, for two overlapping PUSCHs, the priority rules may be applied for physical channels with the same priority index. CSI reportsmay be associated with a priority value according to Pri^^^^(^, ^, ^, ^)= 2 ∙ ^^^^^^∙ ^^∙ ^ + ^^^^^^∙ ^^∙ ^ + ^^∙ ^ + ^. In various example embodiments, y=0 for aperiodic CSI reports to be carried on PUSCH or one of aperiodic, semi-periodic, and / or periodic LTM CSI reports on PUCCH / PUSCH. Thus, the at least one of aperiodic / semi-persistent or periodic LTM CSI report may have same report time type parameter value (e.g., y) as the aperiodic report for BM CSI report. Furthermore, y=1 for semi-persistent CSI reports to be carried on PUSCH, y=2 for semi-persistent CSI reports to be carried on PUCCH, and y=3 for periodic CSI reports to be carried on PUCCH. In another example embodiment, at least one parameter related to time type of the report may have a LTM specific parameter value (e.g., y value) for calculating the CSI reporting priority. In various example embodiments, for k value, if at least one of the overlapping CSI reports is a LTM CSI report, k=0 for LTM CSI reports carrying L1-RSRP or L1-SINR, k=1 for CSI reports carrying L1-RSRP or L1- SINR, and k=2 for CSI (LTM and BM) reports not carrying L1-RSRP or L1-SINR. In certain example embodiments, an equal value for k may be applied for CSI reports that include LTM related CSI information that is not L1-RSRP or L1-SINR, and CSI reports that include L1-RSRP or L1 SINR (k=0 for CSI reports carrying layer 1 (L1)- reference signal received power (RSRP) or L1-signal to noise ratio (SINR) and LTM CSI reports). In various example embodiments, a value k=0 may be applied for LTM CSI reports carrying layer 1 (L1)-reference signal received power (RSRP) or L1- signal to noise ratio (SINR). In some example embodiments, a value k=0 may be applied for LTM CSI reports. In various example embodiments, the LTM CSI report (i.e., not carrying RSRP or SINR) may have the same or lower priority than the BM CSI (i.e., not carrying RSRP / SINR). The same priority may be applied by assigning / using the same parameter value related to the reporting quantity (e.g., value k) for LTM CSI and BM CSI (i.e., not carrying RSRP or SINR). The lower priority may be applied by assigning / using a higher parameter value related to the reporting quantity (e.g., value for k) for LTM CSI (i.e., not carrying RSRP or SINR) than for the BM CSI (i.e., not carrying RSRP or SINR). In certain example embodiments, c may be the serving cell index and ^^^^^^is the value of the higher layer parametermaxNrofServingCells; and s is the reportConfigID and Ms is the value of the higher layer parameter maxNrofCSI-ReportConfigurations. In some example embodiments, the ^^^^^^, may be set to maximum number of LTM candidate cells when calculating priority for the LTM CSI report. In various example embodiments, for the value c, the primary cell index value (PCell, PsCell, or SpCell) value may be used. In certain example embodiments, the value c may be explicitly configured (e.g., via RRC). In some example embodiments, s may be set to reportConfigID related to the CSI report, and Ms may be set to maxNrofCSI-ReportConfigurations. maxNrofCSI- ReportConfigurations may be defined by RRC which is a fixed value (e.g., after configuration) for all the CSI reports. In addition, reportConfigID may be related to a specific CSI report; thus, for each CSI report, it may have an associated reportConfigID.

[0036] For LTM CSI reports, the values s and / or Ms may be set to the lowest possible values. A lower possible value may be 0 for the config ID, which may overwrite s to a lowest value (e.g., 0). In this way, CSI-ReportConfigId ::= INTEGER (0..maxNrofCSI-ReportConfigurations-1). The maximum may also be a minimum; thus, a lowest possible value may be 1. In addition, maxNrofCSI- ReportConfigurations INTEGER ::= X (e.g., X=1…48) may correspond with a maximum number of report configurations.

[0037] Alternatively, for LTM CSI reports, the values s and / or Ms may be set to the specific values of LTM CSI configuration (e.g., reportConfigID, maxNrofCSI- ReportConfigurations for LTM). In various example embodiments, s may be a LTM CSI config ID, and Ms may be a LTM specific max number of a CSI report configuration.

[0038] In some example embodiments, a first CSI report may have priority over a second CSI report if the associated PriiCSI(y,k,c,s) value is lower for the first report than for the second report. In various example embodiments, between two equal priority (e.g., value) CSI reports, the report configured with SpCell inclusion may be prioritized. In certain example embodiments, between two equal (e.g., value) priority CSI reports, the CSI report configured for LTM reporting may be prioritized.

[0039] Two CSI reports may collide if the time occupancy of the physical channels scheduled to carry the CSI reports overlap in at least one OFDM symbol, and are transmitted on the same carrier. When a UE is configured to transmit two colliding CSI reports, if y values are different between the two CSI reports, and unless one of the y values is 2 and the other y value is 3 (e.g., for CSI reports transmitted on PUSCH and / or for CSI reports transmitted on PUCCH), the UE may not transmit the CSI report with a higher PriiCSI(y,k,c,s) value; otherwise, the two CSI reports may be multiplexed or dropped based on the priority values.

[0040] In certain example embodiments, if a semi-persistent CSI report to be carried on PUSCH overlaps in time with PUSCH data transmission in one or more symbols on the same carrier, and if the earliest symbol of these PUSCH channels starts no earlier than N2+d2,1symbols after the last symbol of the DCI scheduling the PUSCH where d2,1 is the maximum of the d2,1 associated with the PUSCH carrying semi- persistent CSI report and the PUSCH with data transmission, the CSI report may not be transmitted by the UE. Otherwise, if the timeline requirement is not satisfied, this may constitute an error case.

[0041] In some example embodiments, if the UE would transmit a first PUSCH that includes semi-persistent CSI reports and a second PUSCH that includes an UL-SCH on the same carrier, and the first PUSCH transmission would overlap in time with the second PUSCH transmission, the UE may not transmit the first PUSCH, and may instead transmit the second PUSCH. The UE may expect that the first and second PUSCH transmissions satisfy the above timing conditions for PUSCH transmissions that overlap in time when at least one of the first or second PUSCH transmissions is in response to a DCI format detection by the UE.

[0042] FIG.1 illustrates an example of a flow diagram of a method 100 that may be performed by a UE, such as UE 220 illustrated in FIG. 2, according to various example embodiments.

[0043] At step 101, the method may include determining, by the UE, at least one CSI reporting priority value. The determination may be based upon one or more of at least one resource indicator associated with an active TCI state for LTM; at least oneresource indicator indicating which PRACH has been transmitted; at least one resource indicator indicating which a UE based TA has been measured; at least one resource indicator indicating which downlink sync is maintained at least one resource indicator associated with a special cell; at least one resource indicator included in a TCI state indicated for an LTM prior to a cell switch; whether the at least one CSI report comprises an LTM CSI report; or at least one LTM report time type.

[0044] At step 102, the method may further include transmitting, by the UE, the at least one CSI report according to the at least one CSI reporting priority value to a NE, such as NE 210 illustrated in FIG. 2, according to various example embodiments.

[0045] In certain example embodiments, the at least one CSI report may include at least one LTM report, and the determining the at least one parameter value for calculating the CSI reporting priority value may be based on at least one of a report time type; a reported measurement quantity; a reporting configuration identifier; or a configuration limit related parameter.

[0046] The at least one parameter value may be related to a report time type. The at least one parameter value may be determined by applying a same parameter value for a CSI report comprising an aperiodic or semi-persistent LTM CSI report that is lower than a parameter value for a CSI report comprising a semi-persistent or periodic CSI report. The at least one parameter value may be determined by applying a parameter value for a CSI report comprising an aperiodic or semi-persistent LTM CSI report that is lower than a parameter value for a CSI report comprising a semi-persistent or periodic CSI report.

[0047] In certain example embodiments, the at least one parameter value may be related to a reporting quantity. The at least one parameter value may be determined by applying a first parameter value for a CSI report comprising a LTM CSI report, and a second parameter value for a CSI report not comprising a LTM CSI report that differs from the first parameter value. The first parameter value may be lower than the second parameter value for a reporting quantity of RSRP or SINR. Alternatively, the first parameter value may be higher than the second parameter value, the CSIreports may include a reporting quantity of RSRP or SINR, and the LTM CSI reports do not include a reporting quantity of RSRP or SINR.

[0048] In some example embodiments, for a parameter value associated with at least one of a reporting configuration identifier, the method may further include applying a lowest reporting configuration identifier parameter from a plurality of reporting configuration identifier parameters.

[0049] In various example embodiments, for a parameter value associated with at least one of a reporting configuration identifier or a configuration limit, the method may further include applying a LTM reporting configuration specific value configured for at least one of a plurality of reporting configuration identifier parameters or for a configuration limit.

[0050] In certain example embodiments, a first CSI report including a LTM CSI report may have a higher CSI reporting priority (i.e., the priority of the LTM report may be higher priority than the priority of the CSI report, excluding the LTM report) than a second CSI report not comprising a LTM CSI report. The first CSI report may collide with the second CSI report.

[0051] In some example embodiments, the determining the at least one CSI reporting priority value may include determining the at least one CSI reporting priority value based on a special cell inclusion in the at least one CSI report. A CSI report may include special cell information that has a higher CSI reporting priority (e.g., by applying a parameter value based on the SpCell inclusion for priority value calculation) than a CSI report that does not include the special cell information.

[0052] In various example embodiments, the method may further include determining a priority for CSI report collision between two equal priority (e.g., value) CSI reports, and applying a higher priority for a CSI report comprising a LTM CSI report. One of the reports may include a LTM CSI report. In some example embodiments, applying a higher priority for a CSI report with specific parameter or characteristics may be applied by applying absolute priority (e.g., in case of two equal priority CSI reports based on the priority value, one of the reports may be prioritized over another based on a further condition / characteristic).

[0053] The determining the at least one CSI reporting priority may include applying a higher CSI priority for a first CSI report than a second CSI report. The first CSI report may include a LTM CSI report, and the second CSI report may include a BM CSI report. In various example embodiments, a higher priority for a CSI report with specific parameter or characteristics may be applied by applying an absolute priority. In certain example embodiments, the LTM CSI may be prioritized over the BM CSI report. In various example embodiments, the LTM CSI may be prioritized over the BM CSI report when the two CSI reports have equal priority value (e.g., based on a CSI priority formula).

[0054] A first CSI report including a LTM CSI report may have a higher CSI reporting priority than a second CSI report not including a LTM CSI report. The first CSI report may collide with the second CSI report.

[0055] A first CSI report including a LTM CSI report may have a higher CSI reporting priority than a second CSI report not including a LTM CSI report. The first CSI report may collide with the second CSI report.
