Description

Prize acquisition game device

[0001] The present invention relates to a prize acquisition game device.

[0002] A prize acquisition game device is known that includes a storage section for storing prizes, an opening / closing door provided on the front of the storage section, and a locking mechanism that locks or unlocks the opening / closing door by rotating a key inserted into the keyhole (for example, Patent Document 1).

[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2020-010855

[0004] In the prize acquisition game device described in Patent Document 1, the keyhole into which the key is inserted is located on the front of the storage unit. This arrangement makes it easy for a worker (such as a store staff member) to insert and remove the key from the keyhole when unlocking the door to replenish prizes in the storage unit because it is highly visible, but it may impair the design of the prize acquisition game device when viewed from the front.

[0005] The present invention was made in consideration of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to provide a prize acquisition game device in which the keyhole is positioned so as to increase visibility without compromising the design.

[0006] The main invention of the present invention to solve the above problems is a prize capture game device comprising: a storage section for storing prizes, an opening / closing door provided on the front of the storage section, a control console provided to protrude forward of the storage section, a prize capture section that performs an operation to capture the prize based on game operations performed on the control console, and a locking mechanism that locks or unlocks the opening / closing door by turning a key inserted into a keyhole, the keyhole being disposed on the side of the control console with the mounting surface facing diagonally forward. Other features of the present invention will become clear from the description of this specification and the accompanying drawings.

[0008]

[0006] At least the following points become clear from the description in this specification and the accompanying drawings: A prize acquisition game device comprising: a storage section for storing prizes; an opening / closing door provided on the front of the storage section; a control console provided so as to protrude forward from the storage section; a prize acquisition section that performs an operation to acquire the prize based on game operations performed on the control console; and a locking mechanism that locks or unlocks the opening / closing door by rotating a key inserted into a keyhole, wherein the keyhole mounting surface is disposed on a side surface of the control console with the keyhole facing diagonally forward. According to this prize acquisition game device, the keyhole for inserting the key is disposed on the side surface of the control console, so that the design of the prize acquisition game device is not impaired when viewed from the front, and since the keyhole mounting surface is disposed on the side surface of the control console with the keyhole facing diagonally forward, visibility is improved, making it easier to insert and remove the key into and from the keyhole.

[0009] Furthermore, in this prize acquisition game device, the openable / closable doors include a left door and a right door, the locking mechanism includes a first locking mechanism for the left door and a second locking mechanism for the right door, and a mounting surface of a keyhole for inserting a key to lock or unlock the left door is disposed on the left side of the operation table so as to face diagonally forward, and a mounting surface of a keyhole for inserting a key to lock or unlock the right door is disposed on the right side of the operation table so as to face diagonally forward. According to this prize acquisition game device, even if locking mechanisms are provided corresponding to the left and right doors, the keyholes for inserting the keys are mounted on the left and right side of the operation table, respectively, so that the design of the prize acquisition game device is not impaired when viewed from the front, and further, since the mounting surfaces of the keyholes are disposed on the left and right side of the operation table so as to face diagonally forward, visibility is improved, making it easier to insert and remove keys from the keyholes.

[0010] Furthermore, in this prize acquisition game device, the left-right length of the operation table may be shorter than the left-right length of the storage section, thereby forming key operation spaces on both the left and right sides of the operation table for performing key operations on the keyhole. With this prize acquisition game device, even if the prize acquisition game device is installed with the side of the storage section close to a wall or installed next to another game device, key operation spaces are secured on both the left and right sides of the operation table, making it easier to insert and remove the key into the keyhole.

[0011] Embodiments Configuration of the Prize Acquisition Game Device An example configuration of the prize acquisition game device 1 according to this embodiment will be described using Figures 1 and 2. Figure 1 is an external view showing the configuration of the prize acquisition game device 1 according to this embodiment. Figure 2 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of a movement unit 50 according to this embodiment.

[0012] In the following explanation, each direction is defined as shown in each figure. That is, the vertical direction is defined as the "up-down direction," and "up" and "down" are defined according to gravity. Furthermore, based on the view from the player facing the prize acquisition game device 1 while playing the game, the near side is defined as the "front" and the far side is defined as the "rear," forming a "front-to-back direction." Furthermore, the direction perpendicular to the up-down and front-to-back directions is defined as the "left-to-right direction," and based on the view from the player's perspective, "right" and "left" are defined.

[0013] The prize acquisition game device 1 of this embodiment is used by players when playing a prize acquisition game, and is equipped with a storage section 10 that stores one or more prizes, and a base section 60 provided below the storage section 10.

[0014] As shown in Fig. 1, the front and left and right sides of the storage unit 10 are made of transparent materials (e.g., transparent resin, glass, etc.) so that players can see the prizes stored in the storage space. A transparent door 11 is provided on the front of the storage unit 10, allowing workers (e.g., store staff) to display and replenish the prizes. Pillars 12 are provided at the four corners of the storage unit 10.

[0015] The door 11 is a sliding door that opens and closes by sliding along a rail extending in the left-right direction. As shown in Figure 1, the door 11 can be locked or unlocked by turning a key inserted into a keyhole 76 provided on the side of the operation console 70, which operates a locking mechanism provided on the base unit 60.

[0016] 1, the door 11 in this embodiment has a left door 11a and a right door 11b, and can be opened and closed from both the left and right sides. In this embodiment, locking mechanisms (first and second locking mechanisms) are provided corresponding to the left door 11a and the right door 11b, respectively.

[0017] Therefore, when opening the left door 11a, the key inserted into the left keyhole 76 is turned to operate the first locking mechanism for the left door, thereby changing the left door 11a from a locked state to an unlocked state, and then the left door 11a is slid to the right.

[0018] Furthermore, when opening the right door 11b, the key inserted into the right keyhole 76 (not shown) is turned to activate the second locking mechanism for the right door, thereby changing the right door 11b from a locked state to an unlocked state, and then sliding the right door 11b to the left.

[0019] The storage space enclosed by the storage unit 10 is used as a play area for players to play the prize acquisition game. If the pillars 12 on both sides of the opening and closing door 11 are made of a mirrored or transparent material, they will not stand out visually, making the play area appear larger.

[0020] As shown in FIG. 2, the storage unit 10 in this embodiment has a prize capturing unit 20 that performs the operation of capturing prizes in the storage space, and a moving unit 50 that moves the prize capturing unit 20 in the storage space.

[0021] In this embodiment, a first play area where a player plays a prize-capturing game is formed on the left side of the storage space, and a second play area is formed on the right side of the storage space. A prize-capturing unit 20 is disposed corresponding to each of the first play area on the left and the second play area on the right. Therefore, each prize-capturing unit 20 is configured to move within each play area so that players can capture prizes.

[0022] The prize capturing unit 20 is for capturing the prizes stored in the storage unit 10 by opening and closing the arms. As shown in Figure 2, the prize capturing unit 20 in this embodiment is configured so as to be able to grasp the prizes with three arms 21, and is connected to the lower end of the lifting unit 52a.

[0023] 2, the moving unit 50 is disposed in the upper part of the storage unit 10 and moves the prize capture unit 20 within the play area formed by the storage unit 10. As shown in FIG. 2, the moving unit 50 in this embodiment has a horizontal moving unit 51 and a vertical moving unit 52.

[0024] The horizontal movement unit 51 moves the prize capture unit 20 horizontally (i.e., forward / backward and left / right) in the play area. As shown in FIG. 2 , the horizontal movement unit 51 in this embodiment has a left / right movement unit 53 and a front / back movement unit 54.

[0025] The left-right movement unit 53 moves the prize capture unit 20 left and right in the play area.

[0026] As shown in FIG. 2, the left-right movement unit 53 in this embodiment has a pair of fixed rails 53a extending in the left-right direction, a left-right movement motor 53b, an encoder (not shown), and a limit sensor (not shown).

[0027] The pair of fixed rails 53a are fixed to the upper part of the storage unit 10 so as to be parallel to each other in the left-right direction. A front-rear moving unit 54 is attached to the pair of fixed rails 53a so as to be slidable in the left-right direction. By driving the left-right movement motor 53b, the front-rear moving unit 54 can be moved in the left-right direction along the fixed rails 53a.

[0028] The encoder detects the number of rotations of the left-right movement motor 53b. Based on the output of this encoder, the left-right position of the forward / backward movement unit 54 (i.e., the left-right position of the prize capture unit 20) can be detected.

[0029] The limit sensor is for detecting that the forward / backward moving section 54 has reached its limit position in the left / right direction (i.e., that the prize capturing section 20 has reached its limit position in the left / right direction).

[0030] The forward / backward movement unit 54 moves the prize capture unit 20 forward / backward in the play area.

[0031] As shown in FIG. 2, the front-rear movement unit 54 in this embodiment has a movable rail 54a extending along the front-rear direction, a front-rear movement motor 54b, an encoder (not shown), and a limit sensor (not shown).

[0032] The vertical moving part 52 is attached to the movable rail 54a so as to be slidable in the front-rear direction. The vertical moving part 52 can be moved in the front-rear direction along the movable rail 54a by driving the front-rear movement motor 54b.

[0033] The encoder detects the number of rotations of the forward / backward movement motor 54b. Based on the output of this encoder, the forward / backward position of the vertical movement unit 52 (i.e., the forward / backward position of the prize capture unit 20) can be detected.

[0034] The limit sensor is for detecting when the vertical moving section 52 has reached its limit position in the forward / backward direction (i.e., when the prize capturing section 20 has reached its limit position in the forward / backward direction).

[0035] The vertical movement unit 52 moves the prize capture unit 20 in the vertical direction (i.e., up and down) in the play area.

[0036] As shown in FIG. 2, the vertical movement unit 52 in this embodiment has a lifting member 52a that is configured to be freely extendable and retractable in the vertical direction, a wire winding unit (not shown), a motor for vertical movement (not shown), an upper limit sensor (not shown), and a lower limit sensor (not shown).

[0037] The lifting member 52a is configured by fitting a number of pipes of successively smaller diameters into each other in a telescopic manner so that they can slide freely. The prize capturing unit 20 is attached to the lower end of the lifting member 52a and is connected to a wire that passes through the inside of the pipes.

[0038] The wire winding section is driven by a motor for vertical movement to wind up the wire and raise the prize capturing section 20 while storing the lower pipes in the upper pipe in sequence, or to unwind the wire and lower the prize capturing section 20 while sending out the lower pipes in sequence from the upper pipe.

[0039] The upper limit sensor detects whether the prize capturing unit 20 has stopped rising by winding up the wire connected to the prize capturing unit 20.

[0040] The lower limit sensor detects whether the prize capturing unit 20 has stopped descending based on a change in tension of the wire connected to the prize capturing unit 20 .

[0041] The base part 60 is the base part of the housing provided below the storage part 10, and holds the storage part 10 at a high position so that the player can play the game while standing and facing forward.

[0042] 1, the base unit 60 in this embodiment has a prize outlet 61 for retrieving prizes that have fallen from the play area after being captured by the prize capturing unit 20, an operation table 70 that protrudes forward of the storage unit 10, and a locking mechanism 80 (not shown) that locks or unlocks the opening and closing door 11. The specific configurations of the operation table 70 and the locking mechanism 80 will be described below.

[0043] <<Configuration of Operator Console 70>> An example configuration of the operator console 70 according to this embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 1, 3, and 4. FIG. 3 is an external view showing the left end of the operator console 70 according to this embodiment. FIG. 3A is a perspective view showing the left end of the operator console 70 before the first operation unit 71a on the left side is removed. FIG. 3B is a perspective view showing the left end of the operator console 70 after the first operation unit 71a on the left side is removed. FIG. 4 is a plan view showing the left end of the operator console 70 according to this embodiment. FIG. 4A is a plan view showing the left end of the operator console 70 before the first operation unit 71a on the left side is removed. FIG. 4B is a plan view showing the left end of the operator console 70 after the first operation unit 71a on the left side is removed.

[0044] The control console 70 is used by players to operate the game and by store staff to perform setting operations. As shown in Figure 1, the control console 70 in this embodiment has an operation unit 71, a coin slot 74, a setting unit 75, and a keyhole 76.

[0045] The operation units 71 are provided on both the left and right ends of the operation console 70 and have a joystick 72 and operation buttons 73 .

[0046] As shown in Figure 1, the operation unit 71 in this embodiment has a first operation unit 71a on the left end and a second operation unit 71b on the right end, and is provided to correspond to the first play area on the left and the second play area on the right, respectively.

[0047] 4A, the left side surface of the first operating unit 71a in this embodiment is configured with a first side surface that is inclined toward the front in the front-to-rear direction and a second side surface that is formed to be parallel to the side surface 10s of the storage unit 10. The right side surface of the second operating unit 71b is also configured in the same manner.

[0048] By configuring the prize acquisition game device 1 in this way, even if the prize acquisition game device 1 is installed at a corner of a store aisle, it is unlikely to get in the way of passersby. Also, even if the prize acquisition game device 1 is installed close to a wall, the prize outlet 61 (see FIG. 1) for taking out prizes can be easily seen.

[0049] The joystick 72 is an operating lever used by the player to move the prize capturing unit 20 horizontally. The operating button 73 is an operating button used by the player to determine the horizontal position of the prize capturing unit 20. When the player presses the operating button 73, the prize capturing unit 20 begins to descend at the determined position.

[0050] The coin slot 74 is provided on the top center surface of the console 70 and is used by the player to pay the playing fee.

[0051] The prize acquisition game begins when the player inserts a predetermined number of coins into the coin slot 74. In this embodiment, the coin slots 74 are provided corresponding to the first play area on the left side and the second play area on the right side.

[0052] The setting unit 75 is located on the top center surface of the operation console 70 and is used by store staff when performing operations related to the settings of the prize acquisition game. The setting unit 75 has a setting operation unit and a display unit. In this embodiment, the setting unit 75 is provided corresponding to each of the first play area on the left and the second play area on the right.

[0053] The setting operation section is for receiving operation inputs relating to game settings. In this embodiment, the setting operation section is configured as a touch panel, and receives input instructions from the operator from the positions pressed on the touch panel.

[0054] The touch panel is layered on top of the display unit, and when a touch operation is performed on the screen, the pressed position (contact position) can be detected based on the change in electrostatic capacitance between the fingertip and the conductive film.

[0055] The display unit displays a setting screen for the prize acquisition game. In this embodiment, the display unit 102 is configured as a liquid crystal display. The display unit can also display a game screen related to the prize acquisition game and a guide screen that encourages the player to play the game.

[0056] 3A, the keyhole 76 is provided on a side surface 70s of the operation console 70, and a key can be inserted therein to operate a locking mechanism 80 that locks or unlocks the opening and closing door 11. In this embodiment, the keyhole 76 is provided corresponding to each of the left door 11a and the right door 11b.

[0057] 3A and 4A, in this embodiment, the mounting surface 77 of the keyhole 76 is disposed on the side surface 70s of the console 70 so that it faces diagonally forward. That is, as shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B, the direction in which the key is removed from the keyhole 76 and the normal direction of the mounting surface 77 coincide by facing diagonally forward, and the keyhole 76 is disposed so that the normal direction of the mounting surface 77 and the front-to-rear direction intersect diagonally.

[0058] By arranging the keyhole 76 in this manner, even if it is provided on the side surface 70s of the operation table 70, visibility is improved compared to when the normal direction of the mounting surface 77 (i.e., the direction in which the key is removed from the keyhole 76) and the front-to-back direction intersect at right angles, making it easier to insert and remove the key from the keyhole. Also, when viewed from the front of the prize acquisition game device 1, the design can be improved compared to when the keyhole is provided on the top surface of the operation table 70 or in front of the storage section 10.

[0059] 3A and 4A, in this embodiment, in addition to the mounting surface 77 (first side surface) of the keyhole 76, a flat surface 78 (second side surface) parallel to the side surface 10s of the storage unit 10 is formed on the side surface 70s of the operation console 70 so as to be continuous with the mounting surface 77. This makes the keyhole position less noticeable when viewed from the front, further improving the design.

[0060] 1, the left-right length of the operation console 70 is configured to be shorter than the left-right length of the storage section 10. By configuring it in this manner, as shown in FIG. 4A, key operation spaces A for performing key operations on the keyholes 76 can be formed on both the left and right sides of the operation console 70.

[0061] As a result, even if the prize acquisition game device 1 is installed with the side surface 10s of the storage section 10 close to a wall, or the prize acquisition game device 1 is installed next to another game device, as shown in Figure 4A, key operation space A is secured on both the left and right sides of the operation table 70, making it easier to insert and remove the key into the keyhole 76.

[0062] <<Regarding Locking Mechanism 80>> An example configuration of the locking mechanism 80 according to this embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 3 to 5. Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram showing the locking mechanism when the opening and closing door 11 is in the locked state. Fig. 5A is a schematic perspective view showing the first locking mechanism 80a when the left door 11a is in the locked state. Fig. 5B is a schematic cross-sectional view showing the first locking mechanism 80a when the left door 11a is in the locked state. Note that Fig. 5 shows a state in which the first operating unit 71a on the left side has been removed.

[0063] The locking mechanism 80 is provided inside the base 60 and is used to lock or unlock the opening / closing door 11 by rotating a key inserted into a keyhole 76 provided on the side of the operation console 70.

[0064] The locking mechanism 80 in this embodiment has a first locking mechanism 80a for the left door that is operated by turning a key inserted into a keyhole 76 on the left side of the operation console 70, and a second locking mechanism 80b for the right door that is operated by turning a key inserted into a keyhole 76 on the right side of the operation console 70, and is provided to correspond to each of the left door 11a and the right door 11b.

[0065] In the following, the first locking mechanism 80a for the left door and the second locking mechanism 80b for the right door will be specifically described, since they have the same configuration.

[0066] <Configuration of Locking Mechanism 80> As shown in FIG. 5, the first locking mechanism 80a in this embodiment uses a link mechanism having a plurality of link bars to lock or unlock the left door 11a.

[0067] 3B and 4B, the keyhole 76 on the left side of the console 70 is provided in a cylinder 77 that extends in the direction in which the key is inserted. The cylinder 77 is attached to the base member 81 so that the keyhole 76 faces diagonally forward.

[0068] As shown in FIGS. 3B and 5B, a cylinder cam 82 is attached to the inside of the cylinder 77 with a base member 81 sandwiched therebetween.

[0069] The cylinder cam 82 is rotatably connected to one end of a first link bar 83 via a first pin P1. The position of the first pin P1 can be changed in accordance with the rotation of the cylinder cam 82.

[0070] The other end of the first link bar 83 is rotatably connected via a third pin P3 to one end of each of the second link bar 84 and the third link bar 85. The position of the third pin P3 can be changed in accordance with the movement of the first link bar 83.

[0071] The other end of the second link bar 84 is rotatably connected to the inside of the base portion 60 via a second pin P2. The position of the second pin P2 is fixed.

[0072] The other end of the third link bar 85 is rotatably connected to the lower end of the lock pin 86 via a fourth pin P4. A roller 88 is attached to the back side of the fourth pin P4, with the lock pin 86 sandwiched between them. The roller 88 engages with a guide rail 87 having a U-shaped cross section. The cross section of the guide rail 87 may also be L-shaped.

[0073] The lock pin 86 is guided by a pin guide 89 in accordance with the movement of a roller 88, and its upper end fits into a lock hole 11h provided at the lower end of the left door 11a, thereby locking the left door 11a.

[0074] <Operation of Locking Mechanism 80> The operation of the locking mechanism 80 according to this embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 5 and 6. Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram showing the locking mechanism when the opening and closing door 11 is in an unlocked state. Fig. 6A is a schematic perspective view showing the first locking mechanism 80a when the left door 11a is in an unlocked state. Fig. 6B is a schematic cross-sectional view showing the first locking mechanism 80a when the left door 11a is in an unlocked state.

[0075] When the left door 11a is in a locked state (see FIG. 5B), the key is inserted into the lock hole 76 to rotate the cylinder 77 clockwise. The cylinder cam 82 attached to the cylinder 77 also rotates clockwise at the same time.

[0076] When the cylinder cam 82 rotates clockwise, the first pin P1 also rotates clockwise in conjunction with the rotation of the cylinder cam 82, and the first link bar 83 is pushed by the first pin P1 and moves toward the rear (see FIG. 6B).

[0077] When the first link bar 83 moves to the rear, the third pin P3 moves to the rear in conjunction with the movement of the first link bar 83, and the second link bar 84, pressed by the third pin P3, rotates clockwise around the second pin P2 as an axis. At the same time, the third link bar 85, pressed by the third pin P3, moves the roller 88 of the fourth pin P4 downward in the vertical direction along the guide rail 87.

[0078] When the roller 88 of the fourth pin P4 moves downward in the vertical direction along the guide rail 87, the lock pin 86 moves downward in the vertical direction along the pin guide 89 in conjunction with the movement of the roller 88. As a result, the tip of the lock pin 86 comes out of the lock hole 11h of the left door 11a, and the left door 11a becomes unlocked (unlocked).

[0079] This allows store staff to slide the left door 11a to the right, allowing them to display and replenish prizes in the first play area on the left side.

[0080] After the prizes have been displayed and replenished, if the closed left door 11a is in an unlocked state (see FIG. 6B), the key is inserted into the lock hole 76 to rotate the cylinder 77 counterclockwise. At the same time, the cylinder cam 82 attached to the cylinder 77 also rotates clockwise.

[0081] When the cylinder cam 82 rotates counterclockwise, the first pin P1 rotates counterclockwise in conjunction with the rotation of the cylinder cam 82, and the first link bar 83 is pulled back by the first pin P1 and moves toward the front (see Figure 5B).

[0082] When the first link bar 83 moves to the rear, the third pin P3 also moves to the front in conjunction with the movement of the first link bar 83, and the second link bar 84, pulled back by the third pin P3, rotates counterclockwise around the second pin P2 as an axis. At the same time, the third link bar 85, pulled back by the third pin P3, moves the roller 88 of the fourth pin P4 upward along the guide rail 87.

[0083] When the roller 88 of the fourth pin P4 moves upward along the guide rail 87, the lock pin 86 moves upward along the pin guide 89 in conjunction with the movement of the roller 88. As a result, the tip of the lock pin 86 fits into the lock hole 11h of the left door 11a, and the left door 11a is placed in a locked state (locked).
