Abstract
Description
[0001] GAS OUTLET ADJUSTMENT PLIERS
[0002] Technical Field
[0003] The invention relates to adjustment pliers to correct the deformations in the transition region of aluminum cooling pipes larger than the capillary copper pipe to which refrigerants pass in cooling devices such as refrigerators.
[0004] State of the Art of the Invention
[0005] Refrigeration in cooling devices such as refrigerators is provided by refrigerants circulated in the pipes provided on the device. One of these pipes is a 1-2 mm diameter capillary copper pipe used for the freezer unit and a pair of aluminum pipes connected to this capillary pipe and larger in diameter than the capillary pipe, approximately 8-10 mm in diameter.
[0006] At the transition points of these copper and aluminum pipes, deformation may occur in the form of joining errors at the connection / transition points or diameter expansion depending on the impact or fluid flow over time. Said diameter expansion causes sudden pressure drops and thus speed drop, causing uncontrolled flow of refrigerant. This causes the unbalanced flow cooling device to work too loud and cause discomfort to the end user.
[0007] The solution to this problem is generally provided by taking the cooling device to the service and completely replacing the freezer unit or insulating the freezer unit from the outside in order to reduce the noise. However, these solutions are costly and time-consuming, as well as causing the cooling device to be unavailable for a while.
[0008] There is a need for faster and easier solutions for the correction / repair of the mentioned pipes.
[0009] Patent document CN1332161C discloses a refrigerator silencer. The document discloses that some of the refrigerator sound is caused by irregularity in the flow rate. As a solution, a silencer consisting of a combination of three pipes with different concentric diameters is presented. Patent document US3834206A discloses a portable pipe reducer. There are two cylinders with a recessed channel with an outer diameter to reduce the pipe. Said pipe is fed tangentially to said cavities. The pipes are crushed by the cylinder and their diameters are reduced.
[0010] Patent document US5152497A discloses pliers consisting of two jaws to change the diameter of the pipes. Here, the position of at least one of the jaws is controlled by an adjustment element to allow the applied force to be changed, that is, to change the distance between the jaws.
[0011] A drilling device for use in a refrigerant recovery is described in the patent document US5275013A. The device comprises partial spring-shaped slots between a two-piece body and the desired pipe is placed in said slots and then the body parts are fixed to each other, and the pipe is compressed and then the pipe is drilled with a punch.
[0012] All the problems mentioned above have made it necessary to make an innovation in the relevant field as a result.
[0013] Object of the Invention
[0014] The main object of the invention is to reveal adjustment pliers structure that will easily and quickly correct the deformations in the transition region of aluminum cooling pipes larger than the capillary copper pipe to which refrigerants pass in cooling devices such as refrigerators.

[0030] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0031] The subject of the invention relates to adjustment pliers (1) to correct the deformations in the transition region of aluminum cooling pipes larger than the capillary copper pipe to which refrigerants pass in cooling devices such as refrigerators.
[0032] Under normal conditions, the freezer front plastic is removed and the tubing section where the refrigerant circulates is reached in the position where the refrigerator is located without being serviced. In the section mentioned here, the transition point from the capillary copper pipe to the wide aluminum pipe can be reached and the part related to the adjustment pliers (1) of the invention can be easily intervened.
[0033] Referring to Figure 1 and la, the present adjustment pliers (1) comprise a body (10) in which the pipe diameter correction is to be performed, an adjustment screw (20) allowing the diameter adjustment on the body and a handle (30) so that said body (10) can be easily controlled by the user.
[0034] It comprises a pipe slot (11) arranged as a longitudinal channel on which the pipe to be corrected will be placed. The pipe slot (11) extends from one end to the other end of the body (10) and the upper part of the body (10) is openly arranged so that the pipe can be placed in the pipe slot (11) and the side parts are arranged so that the pipe extends out of the body (10). The lower part of the pipe slot (11) is preferably arranged in a curved manner so that the pipe to be corrected can be placed comfortably. Preferably, the body (10) is made of metal.
[0035] There is at least one pair of clamping elements (14) arranged to have a distance between them in said pipe slot (11), with reference to Figure lb. The pipe to be corrected is placed between the clamping elements (14). The surfaces of the clamping elements (14) herein facing each other are arranged in a curved manner to grasp the pipe without disrupting its form.
[0036] After the pipe to be corrected is placed between the clamping elements, the clamping elements (14) are approached to each other by means of an adjustment screw (20) arranged on the body (10) and accordingly, pressure is applied on the pipe between the clamping elements (14). This compression eliminates the diameter problem on said pipe.
[0037] Accordingly, the present adjustment plier (1), in its most basic form, comprises the following: Adjustment pliers (1) for correcting the deformations in the transition region of aluminum cooling pipes larger than the capillary copper pipe to which refrigerants pass in cooling devices, characterized in that it comprises the following:
[0038] A body (10) having a pipe slot (11) such that a pipe can be placed longitudinally and a handle (30) for comfortably holding said body (10) by the user,
[0039] At least one pair of clamping elements (14) arranged to maintain a certain distance between them in the inner part of said pipe slot (11),
[0040] An adjustment screw (20) that regulates the distance between said clamping elements (14) in such a way as to vary the distance between them.
[0041] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a support wall (13) is provided in at least one, preferably both, of the open parts that allow the pipe placed between the clamping elements (14) to extend out of the body (10). Said support wall (13) is similarly openly arranged so that the upper part of the body (10) can be placed inside the pipe and the side parts are arranged so that the pipe extends out of the pipe (10). The section where the pipe extends outwardly from the support wall (13) is arranged as an outlet opening (12). Preferably, the support wall (14) is arranged in a conical manner. Preferably, in an embodiment, the handle (30) is arranged to have a curved surface so that it can be held by the user. In addition, protrusions are arranged on the surface of the handle (30) to make it difficult for the user to slip. Preferably, the handle (30) is made of plastic.
