Description

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CIRCUIT BOARD, AND LIGHT-BASED SKIN TREATMENT DEVICEFIELD

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a field of phototherapy equipment, specifically to a method for manufacturing a circuit board, and a light-based skin treatment device.BACKGROUND

[0002] Currently, in existing light-based skin treatment device (e.g., a hair removal device or a skin rejuvenation device) having a light-transmitting component (e.g., a sapphire) , the light-transmitting component is used to contact skin and reduce light energy loss during flash operation of the device. The light-based skin treatment device also includes a sensor, which is a circuit board that surround the light-transmitting component. The sensor is used to detect whether the light-transmitting component is in contact with the skin, thereby controlling the device to flash only when the light-transmitting component is in contact with the skin, preventing false trigger and improving safety.

[0003] One end of the light-based skin treatment device has a skin-contacting plate with an outlet for light emission. The light-transmitting component is positioned near the skin-contacting plate and is located within the outlet. During high-voltage testing of the device, a high voltage is applied to the skin-contacting plate to check whether the device may withstand such voltage without being damaged. In related art, to meet high-voltage standards, a distance between the sensor and a skin-contacting surface of the skin-contacting plate (i.e., a side surface of the skin-contacting plate that contacts the skin) is typically controlled to be at least 4 millimeters to ensure sufficient resistance and prevent breakdown. However, this results in a thicker and larger light-transmitting component, increasing costs and material waste. Additionally, the increased distance between the circuit board and the skin raises the requirements for the sensor.SUMMARY

[0004] In view of the above, the present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing a circuit board that enhances insulation properties. The circuit board manufactured by this method may reduce requirements for the sensor while ensuring the sensing accuracy of the light-based skin treatment device on the skin, or may improve the sensing accuracy of the light-based skin treatment device on the skin.

[0005] An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for producing a circuit board, the circuit board is used as a sensor of a light-based skin treatment device, the method includes: obtaining a substrate including a first insulating layer and a conductive layer by providing a plate; etching at least one side of the conductive layer in an extension direction through an etching process; obtaining an intermediate plate by laying at least one second insulating layer on a side of the conductive layer opposite to the first insulating layer; laminating the intermediate plate such that at least one second insulating layer extends and connects with the conductive layer and the first insulating layer, thereby forming a side insulating portion on the side of the conductive layer that has been etched away and obtaining the circuit board.

[0055] The following description will be provided with reference to the embodiments of the present disclosure and the accompanying drawings. It is evident that the described embodiments are merely a part of the embodiments of the present disclosure and not all of the embodiments.

[0056] It should be noted that when a component is referred to as being "fixed to" another component, it may be directly on the other component or there may be intermediate components. When a component is referred to as being "connected" to another component, it may be directly connected to the other component or there may be intermediate components. When a component is referred to as being "disposed on" another component, it may be directly disposed on the other component or there may be intermediate components. The terms "vertical" , "horizontal" , "left" , "right" , and similar expressions used herein are for illustrative purposes only.

[0057] Additionally, the terms "first" , "second" , "third" , etc., are used for descriptive purposes only and should not be understood as indicating or implying relative importance. The term "vertical" is used to describe an ideal state between two components. In actual production or use, the state between two components may be approximately vertical. For example, in numerical terms, the vertical may refer to a range of an angle between two straight lines from 90°-10° to 90°+10°, the vertical may also refer to a range of an angle between two planes from 90°-10° to 90°+10°, The two components described as "vertical" may not be absolute straight lines or planes but may be approximately straight or planar. From a macroscopic perspective, if the overall extension direction is straight or planar, the components may be referred as "straight" or "plane" .

[0058] Unless otherwise defined, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this application belongs. The terms used in the specification of the present disclosure are for the purpose of describing specific embodiments only and are not intended to limit the present disclosure. The term "or / and" used herein includes any and all combinations of one or more of the associated listed items.

[0059] The following description will be provided with reference to the accompanying drawings to explain some embodiments of the present disclosure in detail. Without conflicting, the following embodiments and features in the embodiments may be combined with each other.

[0060] Please refer to FIG. 1 to FIG. 6. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, a circuit board 100 is provided for use as a sensor of a light-based skin treatment device 200. The sensor is used to sense skin. The light-based skin treatment device 200 flashes only when the sensor senses the skin, thereby preventing false triggers and improving safety.

[0061] Please refer to FIG. 7 to FIG. 9 and FIG. 17. To facilitate understanding of improvements of the present disclosure, an exemplary light-based skin treatment device 200 is provided, which includes a housing 210, a light-emitting assembly 220, a sensor 230, and a light-transmitting component 240. The housing 210 includes a skin-contacting plate 210b with a light outlet 210a for light emission. The skin-contacting plate 210b is used to contact the skin. The light-emitting assembly 220 is located inside the housing 210 and is used to generate light emitted from the light outlet 210a. The light-transmitting component 240 is located inside the housing 210 and at the light outlet 210a, allowing the light generated by the light-emitting assembly 220 to be delivered to the skin, and the circuit board 100 being disposed around the light-transmitting component 240. As an illustrative example, the light-transmitting component 240 is a sapphire crystal.

[0062] The sensor 230 includes the circuit board 100, the circuit board 100 may be a flexible printed circuit board or a printed circuit board. The present disclosure improves the circuit board 100 of the sensor 230, as described in detail below.

[0063] In some embodiments, the circuit board 100 includes a conductive layer 10, a first side insulating layer 20, a second side insulating layer 30, and a first side insulating portion 40. The first side insulating layer 20 is located on one side of the conductive layer 10 in a thickness direction, while the second side insulating layer 30 is located on the other side of the conductive layer 10 in the thickness direction. Thus, the first side insulating layer 20 and the second side insulating layer 30 are respectively disposed on the front and back surfaces of the conductive layer 10 in the thickness direction.

[0064] At least one side of the conductive layer 10 in an extension direction forms a voltage-resistant side 11, the first side insulating portion 40 is located on the voltage-resistant side 11. The first side insulating portion 40 connects the first side insulating layer 20 and the second side insulating layer 30, such that the first side insulating layer 20, the first side insulating portion 40, and the second side insulating layer 30 are sequentially connected and surround the front and back surfaces of the conductive layer 10 and the voltage-resistant side 11. The first side insulating layer 20, the second side insulating layer 30, and the first side insulating portion 40 are used to insulate the conductive layer 10.

[0065] Since the first side insulating layer 20 and the second side insulating layer 30 cover the front and back surfaces of the conductive layer 10 in the thickness direction, and the first side insulating portion 40 covers a side surface of the conductive layer 10 on the voltage-resistant side 11, the conductive layer 10 has sufficient insulation in both the thickness direction and the voltage-resistant side 11. This reduces the likelihood of the circuit board being damaged by high-voltage discharge.

[0066] Thus, please refer to FIG. 17, when the circuit board 100 is applied as the sensor 230 for use in the light-based skin treatment device 200, it is only necessary to position the first side insulating portion 40 near or facing the light outlet 210a, without considering the distance between the sensor 230 and the skin-contacting surface of the skin-contacting plate (i.e., the side of the skin-contacting plate that contacts the skin) . This is because during high-voltage testing, high voltage applied at the light outlet 210a is insulated by the first side insulating layer 20, the second side insulating layer 30, and the first side insulating portion 40, preventing the conductive layer 10 of the sensor 230 from being electrically connected to the high voltage. As a result, the positioning of the sensor 230 is no longer constrained by high-voltage testing, allowing the distance between the sensor 230 and the skin-contacting surface to be reduced. Then, in one hand, it reduces requirements for the sensor 230 while ensuring accuracy of skin sensing of the light-based skin treatment device 200, or it improves the accuracy of skin sensing of the light-based skin treatment device 200. In the other hand, it reduces a size of a light-emitting end of the light-based skin treatment device 200.

[0067] In some embodiments, for light-based skin treatment devices 200 that include a light-transmitting crystal, a thickness of the light-transmitting component 240 may be reduced. This not only makes the light-transmitting component 240 smaller and more cost-effective but also reduces light loss.

[0068] In some embodiments, the first side insulating portion 40 is formed by extending at least one of the first side insulating layer 20 or the second side insulating layer 30 toward the voltage-resistant side 11. This allows for flexible design of the first side insulating portion 40 based on a type of the circuit board 100 or a type of the first side insulating layer 20 or the second side insulating layer 30, thereby enhancing the manufacturing flexibility of the sensor 230.

[0069] In some embodiments, a width H of the first side insulating portion 40 in the extension direction of the conductive layer 10 is greater than a standard thickness value, which is sufficient to prevent the first side insulating portion 40 from being damaged during high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters, 0.45 millimeters, 0.5 millimeters, 0.55 millimeters, or 0.6 millimeters, and so on.

[0070] In some embodiments, the first side insulating layer 20 includes a single first insulating layer 21, and a thickness of the single first insulating layer 21 is greater than the standard thickness value, which is sufficient to prevent the first side insulating layer 20 from being damaged during high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters, 0.45 millimeters, 0.5 millimeters, 0.55 millimeters, or 0.6 millimeters, and so on.

[0071] In some embodiments, the second side insulating layer 30 includes a single second insulating layer 31, and a thickness of the single second insulating layer 31 is greater than the standard thickness value, which is sufficient to prevent the second side insulating layer 30 from being damaged during high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters, 0.45 millimeters, 0.5 millimeters, 0.55 millimeters, or 0.6 millimeters, and so on.

[0072] In some embodiments, the first side insulating layer 20 includes two or more first insulating layers 21, for example, two first insulating layers 21, three first insulating layers 21, or four first insulating layers 21. Since two or more first insulating layers 21 may prevent the first side insulating layer 20 from being damaged during high-voltage testing, a thickness of each first insulating layer 21 does not need to exceed the standard thickness value.

[0073] In some embodiments, the second side insulating layer 30 includes two or more second insulating layers 31, for example, two second insulating layers 31, three second insulating layers 31, or four second insulating layers 31. Since two or more second insulating layers 31 may prevent the second side insulating layer 30 from being damaged during high-voltage testing, a thickness of each second insulating layer 31 does not need to exceed the standard thickness value.

[0074] In some embodiments, the conductive layer 10 is made of copper foil. In other embodiments, the conductive layer 10 may be made of other conductive materials, as long as it serves the purpose of conducting electricity.

[0075] In some embodiments, the conductive layer 10 also has an opposite side 12 that is located opposite to the voltage-resistant side 11. The circuit board 100 further includes a second side insulating portion 50 disposed on the opposite side 12. The second side insulating portion 50 connects the first side insulating layer 20 and the second side insulating layer 30 to surround the opposite side 12, ensuring that all sides of the conductive layer 10 are insulated. This enhances insulation properties of the conductive layer 10 and, when designing the sensor 230, prevents the opposite side 12 from being mistakenly positioned near the light outlet 210a, thereby avoiding errors.

[0076] In some embodiments, the circuit board 100 is a flexible printed circuit (FPC) board or a printed circuit board (PCB) . The FPC board has lower rigidity and may be easily bent, while the PCB has higher rigidity and is less flexible. The type of circuit board 100 may be selected based on specific application scenario.

[0077] The following describes some embodiments when the circuit board 100 is a FPC board, with some solutions being common to both the FPC board and the PCB. Please refer to FIG. 1 to FIG. 4 for illustrations.

[0078] In some embodiments, the first side insulating portion 40 is formed by extending both the first side insulating layer 20 and the second side insulating layer 30 toward the voltage-resistant side 11. Specifically, the first side insulating layer 20 and the second side insulating layer 30 merge at the voltage-resistant side 11 to form the first side insulating portion 40. This ensures that the first side insulating layer 20, the first side insulating portion 40, and the second side insulating layer 30 are seamlessly connected, effectively surrounding the voltage-resistant side 11 and preventing any gaps that could compromise insulation.

[0079] In some embodiments, the width H of the first side insulating portion 40 in the extension direction of the conductive layer 10 is greater than the standard thickness value, which is sufficient to prevent the first side insulating portion 40 from being damaged during high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters, 0.45 millimeters, 0.5 millimeters, 0.55 millimeters, or 0.6 millimeters, and so on.

[0080] In some embodiments, the first side insulating layer 20 includes a single first insulating layer 21, and a thickness of the single first insulating layer 21 is greater than the standard thickness value, which is sufficient to prevent the first side insulating layer 20 from being damaged during high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters, 0.45 millimeters, 0.5 millimeters, 0.55 millimeters, or 0.6 millimeters, and so on.

[0081] In some embodiments, the first side insulating layer 20 includes two or more first insulating layers 21, for example, two first insulating layers 21, three first insulating layers 21, Since two or more first insulating layers 21 may prevent the first side insulating layer 20 from being damaged during high-voltage testing, a thickness of each first insulating layer 21 does not need to exceed the standard thickness value.

[0082] In some embodiments, the second side insulating layer 30 includes a single second insulating layer 31, and a thickness of the single second insulating layer 31 is greater than the standard thickness value, which is sufficient to prevent the second side insulating layer 30 from being damaged during high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters, 0.45 millimeters, 0.5 millimeters, 0.55 millimeters, or 0.6 millimeters, and so on.

[0083] In some embodiments, the second side insulating layer 30 includes two or more second insulating layers 31, for example, two insulating layers 31, three insulating layers 31, or four second insulating layers 31. Since two or more second insulating layers 31 may prevent the second side insulating layer 30 from being damaged during high-voltage testing, a thickness of each second insulating layer 31 does not need to exceed the standard thickness value.

[0084] In some embodiments, regardless of whether the first side insulating layer 20 includes one or more first insulating layers 21, and regardless of whether the second side insulating layer 30 includes one or more second insulating layers 31, the first side insulating portion 40 is formed by merging the extended portions of all the first insulating layers 21 and all the second insulating layers 31 toward the voltage-resistant side 11. This ensures that all the first insulating layers 21, all the second insulating layers 31, and the first side insulating portion 40 are seamlessly connected, effectively surrounding the voltage-resistant side 11 and preventing any gaps that could compromise insulation.

[0085] In some embodiments, the conductive layer 10 is made of copper foil.

[0086] In some embodiments, the conductive layer 10 also has an opposite side 12 that is located opposite to the voltage-resistant side 11.

[0087] In some embodiments, the first side insulating layer 20 and the second side insulating layer 30 merge at the opposite side 12 to form the second side insulating portion 50. This ensures that the first side insulating layer 20, the second side insulating portion 50, and the second side insulating layer 30 are seamlessly connected, effectively surrounding the opposite side 12 and preventing any gaps that could compromise insulation.

[0088] The formation of the second side insulating portion 50 may be similar to that of the first side insulating portion 40, and thus further details are not repeated here.

[0089] In some embodiments, the first side insulating layer 20 includes at least one first insulating layer 21 and a first adhesive layer 22. The first insulating layer 21 is connected to the conductive layer 10 via the first adhesive layer 22. For the FPC board, if the first insulating layer 21 includes two or more layers, adjacent layers may be bonded together using the first adhesive layer 22, thereby enhancing structural stability of the sensor.

[0090] As an illustrative example, the first insulating layer 21 is a polyimide layer (PI) .

[0091] In some embodiments, the second side insulating layer 30 includes at least one second insulating layer 31 and a second adhesive layer 32. The second insulating layer 31 is connected to the conductive layer 10 via the second adhesive layer 32. For the FPC board, if the second insulating layer 31 includes two or more layers, adjacent layers may be bonded together using the second adhesive layer 32.

[0092] As an illustrative example, the second insulating layer 31 is a polyimide layer (PI) .

[0093] In some embodiments, the first insulating layer 21 and the second insulating layer 31 may also be made of polypropylene (PP) . In such cases, no adhesive layer is required between the first insulating layer 21 and the conductive layer 10, or between the second insulating layer 31 and the conductive layer 10. Similarly, no adhesive layer is needed between adjacent layers of the first insulating layer 21 or the second insulating layer 31.

[0094] The following describes some embodiments when the circuit board 100 is a PCB, with some solutions being common to both the FPC board and the PCB. Please refer to FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 for illustrations.

[0095] In some embodiments, the first side insulating layer 20 includes a single first insulating layer 21, which serves as the base layer 211 of the printed circuit board. Due to the high rigidity of the base layer 211, which makes it difficult to extend, the second side insulating layer 30 extends toward the voltage-resistant side 11 to form the first side insulating portion 40. The first side insulating portion 40 is connected to the base layer 211, ensuring that the second side insulating layer 30 and the first side insulating portion 40 are seamlessly connected to surround the voltage-resistant side 11, avoiding presence of gaps, thereby ensuring insulation.

[0096] In some embodiments, if the first side insulating layer 20 includes only the base layer 211, a thickness of the base layer 211 is greater than the standard thickness value, which is sufficient to prevent the first side insulating layer 20 from being damaged during high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters, 0.45 millimeters, 0.5 millimeters, 0.55 millimeters, or 0.6 millimeters, and so on.

[0097] In some embodiments, the first side insulating layer 20 includes at least two first insulating layers 21, with the first insulating layer 21 closest to the conductive layer 10 serving as the base layer 211 of the printed circuit board. The remaining first insulating layers 21 are disposed on the side of the base layer 211 opposite to the conductive layer 10. The second side insulating layer 30 extends toward the voltage-resistant side 11, and the remaining first insulating layers 21 also extend toward the voltage-resistant side 11, forming the first side insulating portion 40. The first side insulating portion 40 is connected to the base layer 211, ensuring that the second side insulating layer 30 and the first side insulating portion 40 are seamlessly connected to surround the voltage-resistant side 11, avoiding presence of gaps, thereby ensuring insulation.

[0098] In some embodiments, if the first side insulating layer 20 includes the base layer 211 and at least one first insulating layer 21, for example, one first insulating layer 21, two first insulating layers 21, three first insulating layers 21, or four first insulating layers 21. Combination of the base layer 211 and the at least one first insulating layer 21 may prevent the first side insulating layer 20 from being damaged during high-voltage testing. Therefore, a thickness of the base layer 211 and each of the at least one first insulating layer 21 does not need to exceed the standard thickness value.

[0099] In some embodiments, a width H of the first side insulating portion 40 in the extension direction of the conductive layer 10 is greater than a standard thickness value, which is sufficient to prevent the first side insulating portion 40 from being damaged during high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters, 0.45 millimeters, 0.5 millimeters, 0.55 millimeters, or 0.6 millimeters, and so on.

[0100] In some embodiments, the second side insulating layer 30 includes a single second insulating layer 31, and a thickness of the single second insulating layer 31 is greater than the standard thickness value, which is sufficient to prevent the second side insulating layer 30 from being damaged during high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters.

[0101] In some embodiments, the second side insulating layer 30 includes two or more second insulating layers 31, for example, two second insulating layers 31, three second insulating layers 31, or four second insulating layers 31. Since two or more second insulating layers 31 may prevent the second side insulating layer 30 from being damaged during high-voltage testing, a thickness of each second insulating layer 31 does not need to exceed the standard thickness value.

[0102] In some embodiments, regardless of the number of second insulating layers 31 of the second side insulating layer 30, the first side insulating portion 40 is formed by merging the extended portions of all the second insulating layers 31 toward the voltage-resistant side 11. This ensures that all the second insulating layers 31 and the first side insulating portion 40 are seamlessly connected to surround the voltage-resistant side 11, avoiding presence of gaps, thereby ensuring insulation.

[0103] In some embodiments, the conductive layer 10 is made of copper foil.

[0104] In some embodiments, the conductive layer 10 also has an opposite side 12 that is located opposite to the voltage-resistant side 11. The circuit board 100 further includes a second side insulating portion 50 disposed on the opposite side 12. The second side insulating portion 50 connects the base layer 211 and the second side insulating layer 30 to surround the opposite side 12, ensuring that all sides of the conductive layer 10 are insulated. This enhances the insulation properties of the conductive layer 10 and, when designing the sensor 230, prevents the opposite side 12 from being mistakenly positioned near the light outlet 210a, thereby avoiding errors.

[0105] In some embodiments, the second side insulating layer 30 extends toward the opposite side 12 to form the second side insulating portion 50. This ensures that the second side insulating layer 30 and the second side insulating portion 50 are seamlessly connected to surround the opposite side 12, avoiding presence of gaps, thereby ensuring insulation.

[0106] In some embodiments, the second insulating layer 31 is made of polypropylene (PP) , and no adhesive layer is required between the second insulating layer 31 and the conductive layer 10 or the base layer 211.

[0107] In some embodiments, the base layer 211 is a cured board layer.

[0108] In some embodiments, when the first side insulating layer 20 includes at least two first insulating layers 21, the first insulating layer 21 other than the base layer 211 is made of the polypropylene (PP) , and no adhesive layer is required between the first insulating layer 21 and the base layer 211.

[0109] In some embodiments, the second insulating layer 31 may also be a polyimide layer (PI) . In such case, the second side insulating layer 30 further includes a second adhesive layer 32. The second insulating layer 31 is connected to the conductive layer 10 via one second adhesive layer 32, and the first side insulating portion 40 is connected to the base layer 211 via one second adhesive layer 32. If the second insulating layer 31 includes two or more layers, adjacent layers are bonded together using the second adhesive layer 32.

[0110] In some embodiments, the first insulating layer 21 may also be a polyimide layer (PI) . In such case, the first side insulating layer 20 further includes a first adhesive layer 22. The first insulating layer 21 is connected to the base layer 211 via the first adhesive layer 22. If the first insulating layer 21 includes two or more layers, adjacent layers are bonded together using the first adhesive layer 22.

[0111] In some embodiments, the light-based skin treatment device 200 provided by the present disclosure is a device that adjusts and improves condition of body skin and facial skin based on human physiological functions. It may have various functions such as skin whitening, skin rejuvenation, blemish removal, wrinkle reduction, or hair removal. Based on optical principles, different effects may be achieved by using specific wavelength ranges of the light or different types of light to irradiate the skin. For example, widely used technologies include intense pulsed light (IPL) , LED light, and lasers. The light-based skin treatment device 200 may be a hair removal device, an acne treatment device, or a skin rejuvenation device, and so on.

[0112] In some embodiments, the light-based skin treatment device 200 may be classified into different types based on the type of light generated by the light-emitting assembly 220. For example, if the light-emitting assembly 220 generates laser, it is a laser light source assembly, and the light-based skin treatment device 200 is a laser-based optical processing device. If the light-emitting assembly 220 generates intense pulsed light (IPL) , it is an IPL light source assembly (e.g., a xenon lamp assembly) , and the light-based skin treatment device 200 is an IPL-based optical processing device. Alternatively, the light-emitting assembly 220 may also be an LED light source assembly.

[0113] In the present disclosure, the following primarily uses the light-emitting assembly 220 as an IPL light source assembly as an example for explanation. Working principle of this type of the light-based skin treatment device 200 is as follows: a capacitor of the light-based skin treatment device 200 is connected to a power source and is charged by a transformer assembly. When the capacitor reaches a preset voltage and a controller receives a trigger signal, the capacitor discharges, and the voltage may reach several hundred volts instantaneously, which excites a lamp to emit intense pulsed light. This completes one emission cycle.

[0114] In some embodiments, please refer to FIG. 8 and FIG. 17, the sensor 230 is located inside the skin-contacting plate 210b to sense the skin.

[0115] In some embodiments, the sensor 230 is positioned around the light-transmitting component 240 and the light outlet 210a. It may optionally be arranged in a ring shape, or multiple such sensors are distributed in a ring shape around the light-transmitting component 240.

[0116] In some embodiments, the voltage-resistant side 11 of the sensor 230 faces the light-transmitting component and the light outlet 210a, and the first side insulating portion 40 is positioned near the light outlet 210a and the light-transmitting component 240.

[0117] It should be noted that in other embodiments, the light-transmitting component 240 may not be present, and the sensor 230 is positioned around the light outlet 210a, with the first side insulating portion 40 facing the light outlet 210a.

[0118] In some embodiments, the light-based skin treatment device further includes a cooling component 250. The cooling component 250 is thermally connected to the light-transmitting component 240 to dissipate heat and cool the light-transmitting component 240. This allows the light-transmitting component 240 to provide cold compress to the skin, enabling both phototherapy (e.g., hair removal or skin rejuvenation) and skin cooling at the treatment site, thereby enhancing user experience.

[0119] As an example, the cooling component 250 may be a cooling chip, which may reduce a temperature of the light-transmitting component to 0℃, achieving an ice-point cold compress effect.

[0120] In some embodiments, the housing 210 includes a main housing 210c and a head housing 210d with a skin-contacting plate 210b. The main housing 210c has an opening 210e, and the head housing 210d is installed in the opening 210e. The light-based skin treatment device 200 further includes a bracket 260 disposed inside the main housing 210c. The bracket 260 is positioned at the opening 210e of the main housing 210c. The light-emitting assembly 220 is installed in the bracket 260, and the light-transmitting component 240 and the cooling component 250 are mounted on the bracket 260. The light-transmitting component 240 protrudes from the bracket 260 and is installed in the light outlet 210a.

[0121] In some embodiments, the light-emitting assembly 220 includes a lamp tube 221 and a reflective cup 222. The bracket 260 has an installation cavity 261, a light-transmitting cavity 262, and an installation slot 263. The light-transmitting cavity is located on a light-emitting side of the installation cavity 261, and the installation slot 263 is positioned on one side of the light-transmitting cavity 262 and connected to the light-transmitting cavity 262. The lamp tube 221 and the reflective cup 222 are installed in the installation cavity 261, the light-transmitting component 240 is installed in the light-transmitting cavity 262, and the cooling component 250 is installed in the installation slot 263.

[0122] In some embodiments, the light-based skin treatment device 200 includes a heat dissipation assembly 280 for dissipating heat from the light-emitting assembly 220 and / or the cooling component 250. The heat dissipation assembly 280 includes a heat-conducting component 281, a heat sink 282, and a fan 283. One end of the heat-conducting component 281 is thermally connected to the cooling component 250, and the other end of the heat-conducting component 281 is connected to the heat sink 282. The heat generated by the light-emitting assembly 220 is transferred to the heat sink 282 via the heat-conducting component 281. The fan 283 generates airflow through the heat sink 282 and the light-emitting assembly 220 to achieve heat dissipation.

[0123] Depending on structural design requirements, the sensor 230 may be selectively connected to an inner side of the skin-contacting plate 210b or installed on a mounting ring surface of the bracket 260 facing the skin-contacting plate 210b. This allows the sensor 230 to be fixed using the existing structure of the light-based skin treatment device 200, reducing design complexity.

[0124] In some embodiments, regardless of whether the circuit board 100 is a FPC board or a PCB, the circuit board 100 is arranged in a ring shape, surrounding the light outlet 210a. The light-transmitting component 240 is positioned in a hollow center of the circuit board 100. The voltage-resistant side 11 and the first side insulating portion 40 are located on an inner side of the circuit board 100, while an opposite side 12 and the second side insulating portion 50 are located on an outer side of the circuit board 100. The first side insulating portion 40 prevents the metal layer of the circuit board 100 from being electrically connected to the high-voltage test, ensuring the insulation of the conductive layer 10.

[0125] In some embodiments, the light-based skin treatment device 200 further includes a controller 270. Both the light-emitting assembly 220 and the sensor 230 are connected to the controller 270. When the sensor 230 detects that the sensor contacts the skin, a capacitance of the sensor 230 changes. The controller 270 may send a control signal based on the change of the capacitance of the sensor 230, causing the light-emitting assembly 220 to emit light toward the skin.

[0126] In some embodiments, the light-based skin treatment device 200 is a hair removal device, an acne treatment device, or a skin rejuvenation device, and other beauty equipment.

[0127] Please refer to FIG. 10 to FIG. 16. The present disclosure provides, in some embodiments, a method 300 for manufacturing a circuit board for use as a sensor 230 of a light-based skin treatment device 200, for producing the circuit board 100. The method 300 includes:

[0128] S1: obtaining a substrate 410 including a first insulating layer 21 and a conductive layer 10 by providing a plate 400.

[0129] S2: etching at least one side of the conductive layer 10 in an extension direction through an etching process, with one side being etched away being the voltage-resistant side 11.

[0130] S3: obtaining an intermediate plate 500 by laying at least one second insulating layer 31 on a side of the conductive layer 10 opposite to the first insulating layer 21.

[0131] S4: laminating the intermediate plate 500 to extend at least one second insulating layer 31 and the first insulating layer 21, such that the at least one second insulating layer 31 is connected with the conductive layer 10 and the first insulating layer 21, thereby forming a first side insulating portion 40 on the voltage-resistant side 11 of the conductive layer 10 that has been etched away, and obtaining the circuit board 100.

[0132] In the circuit board 100 obtained through step S4, the first insulating layer 21 forms the first side insulating layer 20, and at least one second insulating layer 31 forms the second side insulating layer 30.

[0133] In some embodiments, the plate 400 in step S1 may not only include one first insulating layer 21 and one conductive layer 10, but also another conductive layer 10. For example, both sides of the first insulating layer 21 are provided with a conductive layer 10. In this case, step S1 is: and etching away one conductive layer 10 through an etching process and obtaining a substrate 410 including one first insulating layer 21 and one conductive layer 10 by providing the plate 400.

[0134] It may be understood that the above two forms of plate 400 are common in market for producing the circuit board. This allows use of existing market materials to produce sensor 230 of the present disclosure without a need for special customization, thereby reducing production costs.

[0135] The circuit board 100 produced by this method, when used as a sensor 230 in a light-based skin treatment device 200, may achieve the above technical effects.

[0136] In some embodiments, the plate 400 in step S1 may not only include one first insulating layer 21 and one conductive layer 10, but also any additional layers 600 of other materials, such as conductive layers, insulating layers, adhesive layers, or thermal insulation layers. In this case, step S1 may be: etching away the additional layers 600 in the plate 400 through an etching process and obtaining a substrate 410 including only one connected first insulating layer 21 and one conductive layer 10 by providing the plate 400.

[0137] In some embodiments, step S4 further includes: setting the width of the first side insulating portion 40 in the direction of extension of the conductive layer 10 to be greater than a standard thickness value and preventing the first side insulating portion 40 from being punctured during a high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters or 0.45 millimeters or 0.5 millimeters or 0.55 millimeters or 0.6 millimeters.

[0138] In some embodiments, in step S3, when one second insulating layer 31 is laid on the side of the conductive layer 10 opposite to the first insulating layer 21, step S4 further includes: setting the thickness of the second insulating layer 31 after lamination to be greater than the standard thickness value and preventing the second insulating layer 31 from being punctured during a high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters or 0.45 millimeters or 0.5 millimeters or 0.55 millimeters or 0.6 millimeters.

[0139] In some embodiments, if in step S3, no insulating layer is laid on the side of the first insulating layer 21 opposite to the conductive layer 10, step S4 further includes: setting the thickness of the first insulating layer 21 after lamination to be greater than the standard thickness value and preventing the first insulating layer 21 from being punctured during the high-voltage testing. As an illustrative example, the standard thickness value may be 0.4 millimeters or 0.45 millimeters or 0.5 millimeters or 0.55 millimeters or 0.6 millimeters.

[0140] In some embodiments, in step S3, obtaining the intermediate plate 500 at least two second insulating layers 31 on the side of the conductive layer 10 opposite to the first insulating layer 21, for example, laying two insulating layers 31, three insulating layers 31, or four second insulating layers 31. The at least two second insulating layers 31 form the second side insulating layer 30, which may prevent the second side insulating layer 30 from being punctured during the high-voltage testing.

[0141] In some embodiments, in step S3, in addition to laying at least one second insulating layer 31 on the side of the conductive layer 10 opposite to the first insulating layer 21, the intermediate plate 500 is obtained by laying at least one first insulating layer 21 on the side of the first insulating layer 21 opposite to the conductive layer 10, for example, laying one first insulating layer 21, two first insulating layers 21, or three first insulating layers 21. Resulting in a total number of layers of the one first insulating layer 21 is equal to two, three, or four. The at least two first insulating layers 21 form the first side insulating layer 20, which may prevent the first side insulating layer 20 from being punctured during the high-voltage testing.

[0142] In some embodiments, step S2 is: etching both sides of the conductive layer 10 in the extension direction through the etching process, with one side being etched away being the voltage-resistant side 11 and the other side being the opposite side 12; step S4 is: laminating the intermediate plate 500 such that at least one second insulating layer 31 extends and connects with the conductive layer 10 and the first insulating layer 21, thereby forming the first side insulating portion 40 on the voltage-resistant side 11 and a second side insulating portion 50 on the opposite side 12 of the conductive layer 10, and obtaining the circuit board 100, ensuring that all sides of the conductive layer 10 are insulated, thereby enhancing the insulation properties of the conductive layer 10.

[0143] The following describes some embodiments of manufacturing a FPC board 100, with reference to FIG. 11 to FIG. 14.

[0144] In some embodiments, step S3 is: laying one second insulating layer 31 on the side of the conductive layer 10 opposite to the first insulating layer 21, and optionally laying at least one additional first insulating layer 21 on the side of the first insulating layer 21 opposite to the conductive layer 10 and obtaining the intermediate plate 500; step S4 is: laminating the intermediate plate 500 such that all of the second insulating layer 31 and all of the first insulating layer 21 extend and connect together, thereby forming the first side insulating portion 40 on the voltage-resistant side 11 of the conductive layer 10 that has been etched away, and obtaining the circuit board 100. This ensures that the first side insulating layer 20, the first side insulating portion 40, and the second side insulating layer 30 are connected in sequence, more effectively surrounding the voltage-resistant side 11 and avoiding presence of gaps, thereby ensuring insulation.

[0145] In some embodiments, the second insulating layer 31 is a polyimide layer (PI) , and step S3 includes: providing a second adhesive layer 32 on the side of the conductive layer 10 opposite to the first insulating layer 21, and laying one second insulating layer 31 on the side of the second adhesive layer 32 opposite to the conductive layer 10. The second insulating layer 31 is connected to the conductive layer 10 through the second adhesive layer 32 and obtains the intermediate plate 500.

[0146] In some embodiments, the second insulating layer 31 is a polyimide layer (PI) , and step S3 includes: providing the second adhesive layer 32 on the side of the conductive layer 10 opposite to the first insulating layer 21, and laying at least two second insulating layers 31 on the side of the second adhesive layer 32 opposite to the conductive layer 10. A second adhesive layer 32 is provided between each adjacent pair of second insulating layers 31, so that the second insulating layers 31 are connected to the conductive layer 10 through the second adhesive layer 32, and each adjacent pair of second insulating layers 31 is bonded together through the second adhesive layer 32, and obtains the intermediate plate 500.

[0147] In some embodiments, the first insulating layer 21 is a polyimide layer (PI) . In step S 1, a first adhesive layer 22 is located between the first insulating layer 21 and the conductive layer 10 of the substrate 410. In step S3, in addition to laying at least one second insulating layer 31 on the side of the conductive layer 10 opposite to the first insulating layer 21, at least one additional first insulating layer 21 is also laid on the side of the first insulating layer 21 opposite to the conductive layer 10. A first adhesive layer 22 is located between each adjacent pair of first insulating layers 21, so that each adjacent pair of first insulating layers 21 is bonded together through the first adhesive layer 22, and obtains the intermediate plate 500.

[0148] In some embodiments, the first insulating layer 21 and the second insulating layer 31 may also be polypropylene layers (PP) . In this case, in step S3, no adhesive layer is needed for the connection between the first insulating layer 21 and the second insulating layer 31 with the conductive layer 10, and no adhesive layer is needed between each adjacent pair of first insulating layers 21 or each adjacent pair of second insulating layers 31.

[0149] The following describes some embodiments when the circuit board 100 is a PCB, with reference to FIG. 15 and FIG. 16.

[0150] In some embodiments, the first insulating layer 211 of the substrate 410 obtained through step S1 is the base layer 211 of the printed circuit board, and the base layer 211 is a cured plate. The second insulating layer 31 is a polypropylene layer (PP) . Since the base layer 211 has a high hardness and is difficult to extend, in step S4, only at least one second insulating layer 31 (i.e., the second side insulating layer 30) is laminated. The second insulating layer 31 extends toward the voltage-resistant side 11 to form a first side insulating portion 40, which connects with the base layer 211. This ensures that the second side insulating layer 30 and the first side insulating portion 40 are connected in sequence to surround the voltage-resistant side 11, reducing the presence of gaps and maximizing insulation.

[0151] In some embodiments, regardless of how many layers of the second insulating layer 31 are laid in step S3, in step S4, the first side insulating portion 40 is formed by fusing extended parts of all the second insulating layers 31 toward the voltage-resistant side 11. This ensures that all the second insulating layers 31 and the first side insulating portion 40 are connected in sequence to surround the voltage-resistant side 11, reducing the presence of gaps and maximizing insulation.

[0152] In some embodiments, the first insulating layer 211 of the substrate 410 obtained through step S1 is the base layer 211 of the printed circuit board, and the base layer 211 is a cured plate. The second insulating layer 31 is a polyimide layer (PI) . Step S3 includes provided a second adhesive layer 32 on the side of the conductive layer 10 back from the first insulating layer 21, and laying at least one second insulating layer 31 on the side of the second adhesive layer 32 opposite to the conductive layer 10. The second insulating layer 31 is connected to the conductive layer 10 through the second adhesive layer 32. If there are two or more layers of the second insulating layer 31, a second adhesive layer 32 is also provided between each adjacent pair of second insulating layers 31, so that each adjacent pair of second insulating layers 31 is bonded together through the second adhesive layer 32, and obtains the intermediate plate 500.

[0153] In some embodiments, the first insulating layer 211 of the substrate 410 obtained through step S1 is the base layer 211 of the printed circuit board, and the base layer 211 is a cured plate. In step S3, in addition to laying at least one second insulating layer 31 on the side of the conductive layer 10 opposite to the first insulating layer 21, at least one additional first insulating layer 21, which is a polyimide layer (PI) , is also laid on the side of the first insulating layer 21 opposite to the conductive layer 10. A first adhesive layer 22 is provided between the base layer 211 and the first insulating layer 21, and a first adhesive layer 22 is also provided between each adjacent pair of first insulating layers 21. This ensures that the base layer 211 and the first insulating layer 21, as well as each adjacent pair of first insulating layers 21, are bonded together through the first adhesive layer 22, and obtains the intermediate plate 500.

[0154] Additionally, a person of skill ordinary in the art should be aware that the above embodiments are only used to illustrate the present disclosure and are not used as a limitation to the present disclosure
