Description

SPREADER WITH HYDROMECHANICAL CLEANER FOR BATH WATER APPLIANCE INTRODUCTION

[0001] This Invention Patent application concerns an unprecedented “SPREADER WITH HYDROMECHANICAL CLEANER FOR BATH WATER APPLIANCE”, a spreader, transparent which gives a playful appeal or solid color according to the shower or shower to which it is attached, equipped with a propeller incorporated into arms with brushes that, when rotating, have the function of aerating and self-cleaning the fluid outlet holes in the equipment. FIELD OF APPLICATION

[0002] The invention is applied in the bathroom accessories segment, and can be attached to the body of showers and shower heads depending on the equipment configuration. CONVICTION

[0003] Experts in the field are aware that the water supplied by water utilities, especially in Brazil, is highly polluted, consisting primarily of solid waste such as stones, as well as chemicals, including chlorine, which impact the quality of the product delivered to the public and negatively affect the satisfactory performance of the bath water devices in question. Similarly, the water's characteristics must also be taken into account: it contains more minerals, known as calcareous, with high calcium and magnesium content.

[0004] Thus, indirectly, the characteristics and impurities in the water associated with chemical products will affect, in the short and medium term, the good performance of the spreader, a common device in all showers, causing a reduction in water flow over time and, consequently, the possible burning of the resistance of the bath water device due to overheating due to low flow.

[0005] When the water outlet holes of showers and showers become saturated with dirt and / or chemicals, it is common practice for users to remove the spreaders to remove the residue, which requires time, skill and incurs unnecessary risks as it involves working at height and in the case of electric showers.

[0006] Another negative point is that the majority of bath water devices and their respective spreaders are made of plastic material, that is, of low resistance, so that the slightest carelessness when cleaning the holes can be the reason for a crack or breakage of the spreader, in which case it would be necessary to replace the entire set.

[0007] In this context, new technologies that provide an alternative to known self-cleaning systems are welcome in the segment in question. STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE

[0008] The current state of the art anticipates patent documents that deal with self-cleaning systems for showers and shower heads, such as BR 102013012444-3 A2 entitled “SHOWER” - comprising a hollow body provided with an inlet nozzle, to be coupled to a water supply pipe, and a lower wall defined by a sieve pierced by a plurality of holes, the shower being characterized by the fact that it also comprises: a cleaning means mounted inside the hollow body, carrying a plurality of pins, projecting downwards, and being movable between an inoperative position, in which it keeps the pins away from the holes in the sieve, and an operative position, in which each pin is inserted into a respective hole in the sieve, defining at least one water outlet with said hole;an actuating means, operatively associated with the inlet nozzle and fixed to the cleaning means, keeping the latter in said inoperative position, while the hydraulic pressure inside the inlet nozzle is lower than a reference value, and moving said cleaning means to the operating position, when said hydraulic pressure reaches the reference value; and an impeller means mounted inside the hollow body and moving the actuating means; and cleaning, to the inoperative position, when said hydraulic pressure is lower than the reference value.

[0009] The solution in the document above provides a means of cleaning the water outlet holes incorporated into the shower and is mechanical in nature, as it acts through interference between the pins and the holes in the screens.

[0010] Document PI 1100976-4 A2 entitled “IMPROVEMENT TO SHOWER WITH AERATOR” - equipped with a spreader connected to the support platform through fastening elements, having above the support platform a connector having a bushing further above, designed to receive the introduction of a articulation element, characterized by the fact that the shower, shower or any other bath water dispersing device has an aerator incorporated into its structure, forming an integral part of it, constituting a single set.

[0011] The document's solution anticipates an aerator formed by two chambers that operate with the Venturi tube concept, that is, by pressure difference.

[0012] Document MU 9101512-0 entitled “CONSTRUCTION DISPOSITION APPLIED IN WATER SPREADER SIEVE FOR SHOWERS” - comprises an external surface provided with a plurality of water outlet holes, characterized by the fact that each water outlet hole comprises a configuration constituted by an external conical structure that forms a cavity, within which a water outlet nozzle is arranged positioned so that its end does not exceed the end of said external conical structure; in which the end of the conical structure has a pointed shape.

[0013] The document's solution anticipates a spreader whose water outlets are designed to protect the nozzles and prevent dripping after the flow is interrupted. OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

[0014] The objective of the present invention is to propose a spreader with a hydromechanical cleaner for a bath water device that can be attached to existing showers and showers, without the need to replace the entire equipment.

[0015] The objective of the present invention is to propose a spreader with a hydromechanical cleaner for a bath water device that performs the function of aerating the fluid and performing self-cleaning by hydromechanical brushing.

[0016] The objective of the present invention is to propose a spreader with a hydromechanical cleaner for a bath water appliance that, in the case of the transparent spreader, not only has a unique and playful appearance but is also capable of visually highlighting the good performance of the self-cleaning brushes.

[0017] The present invention aims to propose a water jet with a hydromechanical cleaner for a bath water device capable of increasing the longevity of use of electric showers or showerheads at a very low cost. The invention could be integrated into a line of showerheads and showerheads by simply replacing one part, the existing jet, with the jet as claimed.

[0018] The objective of this invention is to propose a cost-effective, hydromechanically cleaner-assisted showerhead for a showerhead. Every showerhead on the market requires periodic maintenance to function properly. The purpose of this diffuser is to extend this lifespan. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0019] THE “SPREADER WITH HYDROMECHANICAL CLEANER FOR BATH WATER APPLIANCE” - consists of a water spreader with constant brushing of all the holes through which the water comes out by hydromotive action by means of a propeller and brush with bristles, which pass through these holes and a necessary solid waste exhauster in the lower part of the spreader to facilitate cleaning. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0021] The “SPREADER WITH HYDROMECHANICAL CLEANER FOR BATH WATER APPLIANCE”, the subject of this Invention Patent application, is formed by a circular base with an internal thread (1) that can be attached to a shower (2) or shower head (3) with compatible threads (4), made of transparent or solid-colored material, equipped with a vertical shaft (7) that receives a propeller (10) attached to a brushing assembly (11) that, when rotating, self-cleans the lines of holes (6) juxtaposed on the spreader (5) bath water device.

[0022] More particularly, the invention relates to a “SPREADER WITH HYDROMECHANICAL CLEANER FOR BATH WATER APPLIANCE”, consisting of a circular base with internal thread (1) for coupling to the shower (2) or shower head (3) with compatible threads (4), which supply water to the spreader (5), with a circular base, concave internal contour and juxtaposed rows of holes (6) through which the fluid is overflowed. From the midpoint of the spreader (5) projects a vertical shaft (7), concentric to a threaded hole (8), which has a pair of end locks (9) which delimit a hydrodynamic propeller (10) coupled to a brushing assembly (11) formed by a framework (12) that receives a body of bristles (13) fitted slidingly into the first. In this constructive arrangement, it is possible to enclose the hydrodynamic propeller (10) and brushing assembly (11) between the internal bottom of the spreader (5) and the extreme lock (9), without, however, preventing the radial movement of these components provided by the passage of water from the shower (2) or shower (3), resulting in the self-cleaning effect of the bristle body (13) in the orifice lines (6) of the spreader (5). In one way of implementing the invention, the interconnection between the hydrodynamic propeller (10) and the frame (12) is carried out by means of alternating vertical projections (14, 15), respectively, which, when embedded, prevent false rotation between the parts. Another way of implementing the invention is the injection of the hydrodynamic propeller (10) and the frame (12) in a single piece. The threaded hole (8), concentric to the vertical axis (7), being at a lower point of the spreader (5), serves as a deposit for the residues removed by the brushing assembly (11) from the juxtaposed lines of holes (6) and remains there until they are drained by removing the drain cover (16) sealed by an o-ring (17).

[0023] The spreader (5) with brushing set (11) can be made of transparent material, both for shower (2) and for shower (3), which in addition to the playful appeal visually highlights the good performance of the bristle body's action (13) on the lines of the holes (6).
