The terminal access and roaming method comprises: when an access point has received an instruction to provide a service for a terminal, sending a beacon frame to the terminal in a unicast manner, so as to establish a connection with the terminal and provide a network access service for the terminal; and when the access point has received an instruction to stop providing the service for the terminal, stopping sending the beacon frame to the terminal in a unicast manner, so as to stop providing the network access service for the terminal. By means of the present application, an existing manner in which an access point sends a beacon frame is changed from broadcast to unicast, such that when a terminal performs access and roaming, the terminal may no longer be involved in situations of automatic network disconnection and clock synchronization errors that are caused by having received beacon frames sent by a plurality of access points in a broadcast manner.
