Description

One-part hair dye composition

[0001] The present invention relates to a one-part hair dye composition.

[0002] Since hair color is expressed by the amount and ratio of melanin pigment, dyeing hair with melanin pigment is expected to produce a more natural finish, and much research has been conducted on this. In particular, hair dye compositions using dihydroxyindole, a precursor of eumelanin, and its derivatives have been studied. However, since eumelanin is a dark brown color, it is necessary to use other dyes to express a variety of hair colors using this.

[0003] Patent Document 1 describes a multi-component hair dye that is composed of (A) an acidic agent containing a melanin precursor and (B) a reducing agent, and (C) an alkaline agent containing an alkaline agent, and at least one of the components contains (D) a nonionic or anionic direct dye, and that the components are applied to hair simultaneously; the air oxidation hair dye has a total alkalinity of a specific value or less when the components are mixed, and that prevents the melanin precursor from polymerizing before use, and that sufficient hair dyeing power can be obtained by applying the components simultaneously.

[0004] (Patent Document 1) JP 2023-184460 A

[0005] The present invention relates to the following: [1] The following components (A) to (E): (A) a compound represented by the following formula (1) or a salt thereof: (In formula (1), the dashed line indicates the presence or absence of a π bond. R 1 represents a hydroxyl group or an acetoxy group. 2 represents a hydrogen atom or -COOR (wherein R is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group). 3 represents a hydrogen atom, an acetyl group, a methyl group, or an ethyl group.) A one-part hair dye composition containing (B) a neutral or anionic direct dye, (C) an alkali agent, (D) a nonionic surfactant, and (E) a cationic surfactant, wherein the ratio (D) / (B) of the mass content of component (D) to the mass content of component (B) is 3.0 or more and 30.0 or less, and the pH is 8.0 or more and 11.0 or less. [2] A method for dyeing hair by applying the one-part hair dye composition according to [1] above to hair.

[0006] However, the hair dye described in Patent Document 1, which uses a mixture of multiple agents, is complicated and there is a risk of the mixing ratio being off when mixing the multiple agents. Therefore, a one-component hair dye that can achieve a variety of hair color expressions is desired, but in the presence of a melanin precursor, the air oxidation of the melanin derivative proceeds rapidly, causing a polymerization reaction outside the hair, and the polymerized pigment is adsorbed on the hair surface, which may cause the hair to feel inferior. Furthermore, in the case of an air oxidation hair dye such as a melanin precursor, if the composition is made alkaline to achieve high hair dyeing properties, the reaction tends to proceed in the composition and is affected by small amounts of dissolved oxygen, making it very difficult to stably formulate it into a one-component formula.

[0007] The present invention aims to provide a one-part hair dye composition that can stably combine a specific melanin precursor and a specific direct dye in a one-part hair dye, thereby achieving a wide variety of hair color expressions that cannot be achieved with the specific melanin precursor alone, and that leaves hair feeling good after treatment. The present inventors have found that the above-mentioned problems can be solved by a one-part hair dye composition that contains a specific melanin precursor, a specific direct dye, and a nonionic surfactant in a specific ratio.

[0008] According to the one-part hair dye composition of the present invention, a predetermined melanin precursor and a specific direct dye can be stably blended, and as a result, a one-part hair dye composition is provided which can realize a wide variety of hair color expressions and further leaves hair with a good feel after treatment. Detailed Description of the Invention

[0009] [One-Part Hair Dye Composition] The one-part hair dye composition of the present invention comprises the following components (A) to (D): (A) a compound represented by the following formula (1) or a salt thereof: (In formula (1), the dashed line indicates the presence or absence of a π bond. R 1 represents a hydroxyl group or an acetoxy group. 2 represents a hydrogen atom or -COOR (wherein R is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group). 3represents a hydrogen atom, an acetyl group, a methyl group, or an ethyl group.) The composition contains (B) a neutral or anionic direct dye, (C) an alkali agent, and (D) a nonionic surfactant, and the ratio (D) / (B) of the mass content of component (D) to the mass content of component (B) is 3.0 or more and 30.0 or less, and the pH is 8.0 or more and 11.0 or less. In the following description, the one-part hair dye composition may be simply referred to as the "composition."

[0010] The one-part hair dye composition of the present invention has the above-mentioned constitution, and as a result, it is possible to provide a one-part hair dye composition that can stably blend a predetermined melanin precursor and a specific direct dye, thereby realizing a wide variety of hair color expressions and providing hair with a pleasant feel after treatment. [Definition] As used herein, the phrase "capable of realizing a wide variety of color expressions" means that the stable blending of a predetermined melanin precursor and a specific direct dye makes it possible to produce colors that would be difficult to produce with the predetermined melanin precursor alone.

[0011] The reason why the composition of the present invention exhibits the above-mentioned effects is unclear, but is presumed to be as follows. Component (B) contributes to the expression of a wide variety of hair colors. Component (C) swells the hair and opens the cuticle, allowing dye components such as components (A) and (B) to penetrate deep into the hair, while accelerating the polymerization reaction of component (A), improving hair dyeability. Component (D) contributes to the stable blending of dye components such as components (A) and (B). If the amount of component (D) is too small, the stability of components (A) and (B) decreases and aggregates form, while if the amount of component (D) is too large, the feel of the hair after treatment tends to deteriorate. Therefore, by setting the ratio of the mass content of component (D) to the mass content of component (B) [(D) / (B)] within a specific range, components (A) and (B) can be stably blended while component (E) contributes to improving the feel of the hair. As a result, it is possible to provide a one-part hair dye composition that can achieve a wide variety of hair color expressions and that leaves hair feeling good after treatment. Although too much component (E) tends to reduce hair dyeing properties, by setting the ratio of the mass of component (E) to the mass of component (B) [(E) / (B)] within a specific range, it is possible to achieve even better hair dyeing properties and color expressions.
