[0001] The present invention relates to a garment having a torso and sleeves.

[0002] Conventionally, in garments having sleeves, it is known that the sleeves can be configured to allow adjustment of the length around the cuff. For example, there is a garment in which an elastic rubber member is provided at the cuff so that the length around the cuff can be adjusted to fit the wearer's wrist circumference. On the other hand, as disclosed in Patent Document 1 below, there is also a garment in which the length around the cuff can be adjusted by providing a hook-and-loop fastener at the cuff. A garment comprising: a torso; sleeves extending from the shoulder portion of the torso; and a band member provided at the cuff of the sleeve, wherein the band member is positioned such that its longitudinal direction is along the cuff, with both ends in the longitudinal direction fixed to the sleeve and the portion between the ends not fixed to the sleeve, the length of the portion between the ends of the band member being less than half the length of the cuff circumference, and the band member being elastic, able to be wrapped around the end of the sleeve to the opposite side, and configured to contract the cuff when wrapped around to the opposite side.

2. The garment according to claim 1, wherein the band member is configured to stretch to an extent that the cuff returns to its state before being shortened when wrapped around the opposite side.

3. The garment according to claim 1 or 2, wherein both ends of the band member are inserted into a slit or sewn portion provided in the cuff and fixed to the sleeve.

4. The garment according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the sleeve portion is provided with a core material that suppresses bending of the fabric constituting the cuff when the band member is wrapped around to the opposite side.

5. The garment according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the band member is positioned on the upper sleeve side of the cuff and is configured to be wrapped around the lower sleeve side of the cuff.

6. The garment according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the band member is positioned on the lower sleeve side of the cuff and is configured to be wrapped around the upper sleeve side of the cuff.

7. The garment according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the band member includes an elastic layer made of an elastic material and a reinforcing layer fixed to the elastic layer and conforming to the expansion and contraction of the elastic layer.
