Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] A SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY DETECTING AND CORRECTING BROADCAST STREAMING ERRORS
[0003] Technical Field
[0004] The present invention relates to a system for automatically detecting and correcting broadcast streaming errors on digital television platforms.
[0005] Background of the Invention
[0006] Today, there are customer complaints such as the inability to perform programbased rewinds in the event that the broadcast streaming information of the digital television channel cannot be downloaded, the absence of the program in the information section, the absence of channel guide information, the incompatibility between the live broadcast and the guide information, and the inability to record programs.
[0007] For this reason, considering the studies and deficiencies included in the current technique, it is understood that there is a need for a system which enables the broadcast streaming data to be corrected before customer complaints arise.
[0008] The Chinese patent document no. CN114650409A, an application included in the state of the art, discloses a recursive scanning and testing method for EPG menu resources. The method included in the said invention performs authentication by simulating a set top box user. After successful authentication, all EPG resources are crawled by crawlers and traversal methods. The crawled resources are then subjected to simulation tests of the HTTP and HLS protocols to obtain service quality. The obtained information content is analyzed, including video resource names, resource brief introductions, resource set numbers and the like, and the conditions of resource missing sets, resource lacking sets, resource access abnormity and the like are analyzed.
[0009] Summary of the Invention
[0010] An object of the present invention is to realize a system developed for automatically detecting and correcting broadcast streaming errors on digital television platforms.
[0011] Another object of the present invention is to realize a system developed for automatically detecting and correcting broadcast streaming errors with the aim of increasing the accuracy of broadcast streaming data, improving the viewer experience and enhancing user satisfaction on digital television platforms.
[0012] A further object of the present invention is to realize a system developed for providing solutions to problems resulting from errors in broadcast streaming data.
[0013] A further object of the present invention is to realize a system developed for solving situations such as incomplete or incorrect downloading of channel guide information due to technical errors in the broadcast streaming data, incomplete information content of the broadcast television programs, incorrect or inaccurate recording or inability to use recording features at all as a result of errors in the broadcast streaming.
[0014] A further object of the present invention is to realize a system developed for continuously monitoring and detecting errors in the broadcast streaming data; providing quick corrections and notifications when erroneous data is detected so that the channel guide information is downloaded correctly; notifying the broadcasting organization by detecting incomplete or incorrect broadcast streaming data and contributing to the correction process. A further object of the present invention is to realize a system developed for automatically checking the incompatibility of the live broadcast with the determined broadcast streaming when an incompatibility is detected, and for ensuring that the viewers have an error-free broadcast experience; for increasing user satisfaction and reducing complaints by preventing television viewers from being affected by errors in broadcast streaming data; for increasing the watchability of television channels and increasing the usability of digital television platforms.
