The method comprises: receiving an XML message that is about a target transaction and that is sent by a client; on the basis of message attribute features of the XML message, determining a target message parsing strategy from among a plurality of different preset message parsing strategies, and parsing a transaction processing request message on the basis of the target message parsing strategy, so as to obtain message data; performing security authentication on the message data; and when the message data passes the security authentication, enabling a transaction processing flow concerning the target transaction so as to process the target transaction, invoking, for each flow link in the transaction processing flow, a rear-end service corresponding to the flow link to process the target transaction, so as to obtain a processing result, generating a transaction processing response message about the target transaction on the basis of the processing result, and sending the transaction processing response message to the client.
