Abstract

The present application relates to the field of communications, and provides a communication method and apparatus, used for further improving the performance of BF-SRSs. The method comprises: a terminal apparatus receives indication information from a network device; and on the basis of beamforming parameters respectively corresponding to at least one antenna port of the terminal apparatus indicated by the indication information, respectively sending beamformed reference signals to the network device on the at least one antenna port. A network device indicates antenna ports used by a terminal apparatus to send beamformed reference signals and beamforming parameters corresponding to the antenna ports, thereby avoiding BF-SRS performance losses caused by incomplete channel information due to beam misalignment because of local selection of the beamforming parameters by the terminal apparatus.
