Description

Mobile Defense System

[0001] The present invention relates to a defense system that performs radio wave interference by outputting specific radio waves to a moving object.

[0002] Moving objects such as flying objects, land vehicles, and ships detect position information by receiving radio waves of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), and also communicate control signals via radio waves. Thus, radio waves are necessary for the operation of moving objects. Moving objects can be classified into friendly moving objects and malicious moving objects. Friendly moving objects operate based on laws and regulations, etc., and malicious moving objects are used for criminal acts such as terrorism. In order to prevent such criminal acts committed by malicious moving objects, it is necessary to restrict, deter, and interfere with the operation of moving objects.

[0003] In order to restrict, deter, and interfere with the operation of such malicious moving objects, there is currently a radio wave interference device called a jamming gun. This jamming gun has a directional antenna attached to the barrel and emits interference radio waves in the direction the barrel is pointing. This jamming gun generally emits interference radio waves to a target moving object to interfere with the acquisition of position information from GNSS and the communication related to the operation of the moving object, thereby suppressing and interfering with the operation.

[0004] Problems of this jamming gun include emitting interference radio waves only in a specific direction, having a high output, being effective for radiation within visual range, and requiring long - time radiation. When emitting interference radio waves at a high output over a long time, it will also cause radio wave interference to unrelated communications, restricting the promotion of public welfare. Also, since radio wave interference is only effective in a specific direction, there is a possibility that it cannot cope with the case where there are multiple malicious moving objects.

[0005] Also, since it mainly relies on visual detection, it is difficult to detect at night. Even if a radar system for detecting moving objects is constructed, if the moving object is composed of a radio wave absorber, the radar may be disabled.

Moreover, this invention aims to provide a positioning system that can determine the position of harmless, good-faith moving objects while restricting, deterring, and interfering with the movements of threatening moving objects.

[0008] A defense system according to one aspect of the present invention comprises one or more transmitters that emit specific radio waves, and a plurality of antennas capable of radiating radio waves emitted from the transmitters in a specific direction. The system is configured to interfere with the radio waves radiated from the plurality of antennas to strengthen them at a specific point, thereby forming a radio interference wave at the specific point. The system scans the radio waves radiated from the plurality of antennas and scans the radio interference wave within a specific two-dimensional or three-dimensional region to form a radio interference area.

[0009] Another aspect of the present invention provides a defense system in which a plurality of antennas comprises a plurality of antenna elements and a control mechanism that controls the phase of radio waves fed to the plurality of antenna elements, and the control mechanism controls the directivity of the antennas.

[0010] A mobile authentication system according to one aspect of the present invention comprises the defense system described above, an authenticated mobile entity, and an authentication transmitter that outputs radio waves containing information relating to the operation of the authenticated mobile entity, wherein the authenticated mobile entity includes a detection unit that detects information relating to the operation of the authenticated mobile entity from the radio waves output from the authentication transmitter.

[0011] Another aspect of the present invention relates to a mobile authentication system in which information for detecting radio waves or operational information contained in radio waves output from an authentication transmitter is encrypted, and the authentication mobile body detection unit has means for decrypting the encrypted radio waves or encrypted information contained in radio waves.

[0012] In another aspect of the present invention, a mobile authentication system uses the transmitter of the defense system as an authentication transmitter.

[0013] A radar system according to one aspect of the present invention comprises the defense system described above, a receiver that receives radio waves radiated from a plurality of antennas and reflected by a moving object, and a moving object detection unit that detects information regarding the movement of a moving object based on the radio waves received by the receiver.

[0014] Another aspect of the present invention involves a radar system that emits different radio waves from multiple antennas.

[0015] Another aspect of the present invention provides a radar system comprising the defense system described above, a receiver that detects that radio waves emitted from a plurality of antennas are obstructed by a moving object, and a moving object detection unit that detects information regarding the movement of the moving object based on the information detected by the receiver.

[0016] A positioning system according to one aspect of the present invention comprises the radar system described above and an authenticated authenticated mobile body, and includes a mechanism for transmitting information regarding the movement of the mobile body detected by the radar system to the authenticated mobile body.

[0017] The defense system of the present invention can eliminate threats by restricting, deterring, and disrupting the movements of threatening moving objects. This is because the defense system emits radio waves from a transmitter through multiple antennas capable of radiating in a specific direction, interferes with the radio waves emitted from the multiple antennas to strengthen them at a specific point, and scans the radio waves emitted from the multiple antennas, thereby creating a radio interference field by scanning the radio interference field within a specific two- or three-dimensional region. By creating a radio interference field within a two- or three-dimensional region, this defense system can eliminate threats by restricting, deterring, and disrupting the movements of moving objects that enter this radio interference field using the radio interference field.

[0018] Furthermore, the defense system of the present invention radiates radio interference waves at a level that would normally not affect others, in a specific direction using multiple antennas to amplify interference at a specific point. Therefore, while reducing the adverse effects on the surroundings from radio waves radiated from multiple antennas, it can form strong radio interference waves in the interference zone, effectively restricting, deterring, and disrupting the movement of a threatening moving object.

[0019] Furthermore, the defense system of claim 2 includes a control mechanism that controls the phase of the multiple antenna elements and radio waves supplied to them, thereby enabling control of the directivity of each of the multiple antennas and realizing radio interference at more precise and detailed specific locations.

[0020] The mobile authentication system according to claim 3 of the present invention has the feature of being able to restrict, deter, and interfere with the operation of threatening mobile entities, while providing relief to harmless, good-faith mobile entities without interfering with their operation. This is because the mobile authentication system comprises the above-mentioned defense system, an authenticated mobile entity, and an authentication transmitter that outputs radio waves containing information related to the operation of the authenticated mobile entity, and the authenticated mobile entity is equipped with a detection unit that detects information related to the operation of the authenticated mobile entity from the radio waves output from the authentication transmitter. In this mobile authentication system, since the detection unit provided on the authenticated mobile entity detects information related to the operation of the authenticated mobile entity from the radio waves output from the authentication transmitter, it is possible to operate the authenticated mobile entity normally even in an area of radio interference.

[0021] The mobile authentication system according to claim 4 of the present invention encrypts and conceals information for detecting radio waves or operational information output from the authentication transmitter, and decodes the fitted radio waves or information for the detection unit of the authenticated mobile body. Therefore, it can effectively disrupt a threatening mobile body while maintaining its operation for the authenticated mobile body.

[0022] The radar system according to claims 5 to 6 of the present invention includes a defense system and a receiver that receives radio waves output from a transmitter and reflected by a moving object, thereby enabling the detection of information regarding the movement of a moving object based on the radio waves received by the receiver.

[0023] The radar system according to claim 7 of the present invention can detect information about the movement of a moving object with higher accuracy by emitting different radio waves from multiple antennas.

[0024] The radar system according to claim 8 of the present invention includes a receiver that detects when radio waves emitted from multiple antennas are obstructed by a moving object, and a moving object detection unit that detects information about the movement of the moving object based on the information detected by the receiver. [0027] Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. However, the embodiments shown below are illustrative examples for realizing the technical concept of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to the contents of the embodiments below.

[0028] The defense system of the present invention eliminates threats by restricting, deterring, and interfering with the movements of threatening moving objects, and comprises one or more transmitters that emit specific radio waves, and a plurality of antennas capable of radiating the radio waves emitted from these transmitters in a specific direction. This defense system forms radio jamming waves at a specific location by interfering with the radio waves radiated from the plurality of antennas in such a way that they are amplified at that location. Furthermore, the defense system scans the radio waves radiated from the plurality of antennas to scan the radio jamming waves within a specific two-dimensional or three-dimensional region, thereby forming a radio jamming area. This defense system eliminates threats by restricting, deterring, and interfering with the movements of moving objects that enter the radio jamming area using the radio jamming waves.

[0029] In this specification, "mobile objects" refer to flying objects such as aircraft, drones, radio-controlled airplanes, and rockets; land-based mobile objects such as automobiles, autonomous vehicles, trucks, radio-controlled cars, and mobile terminals; and sea-based mobile objects such as ships, autonomous cargo ships, and radio-controlled boats. Some of these mobile objects use positioning systems that utilize radio waves, such as GNSS, to determine their location. For such mobile objects, their operation can be restricted or suppressed by interfering with the reception of radio waves from GNSS. In addition, some mobile objects also use radio waves for transmitting information detected by sensors, transmitting image information, communication related to movement via radio control of the mobile object, and other communications related to information related to the operation of the mobile object. For these mobile objects, their operation can be restricted, suppressed, or interfered with by interfering with the reception of radio waves related to these operations. In other words, by interfering with the radio waves used to determine the location of a mobile object and the radio waves used to perform its operations, it is possible to effectively neutralize the mobile object and eliminate the threat.

[0030] Here, mobile entities can be categorized into threatening and non-threatening entities. In this invention, as will be described in detail later, it is possible to interfere with the operation of threatening entities while allowing non-threatening entities to operate normally without interference. Therefore, in this specification, non-threatening entities can be distinguished as authenticated entities, separate from threatening or potentially threatening entities that are subject to interference.

[0031] [Embodiment 1] (Defense System 10) An example of a defense system according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention is shown in Figures 1 to 3. In this Embodiment 1, the mobile body 1 is a flying object such as a drone, and the defense system 10 that protects the area to be protected from this mobile body 1 is shown. The defense system 10 shown in these figures comprises a transmitter 2 that outputs specific radio waves and a plurality of antennas 3 that can radiate the radio waves output from the transmitter 2 in a specific direction. This defense system 10 interferes with the radio waves radiated from the plurality of antennas 3 in such a way that they are amplified at a specific point P, thereby forming a radio interference wave at a specific point P. Furthermore, the defense system 10 scans the radio waves radiated by the plurality of antennas 3 to scan the radio interference wave within a specific two-dimensional or three-dimensional area, thereby forming a radio interference area S. This defense system 10 eliminates the threat by restricting, deterring, and interfering with the operation of a mobile body 1 that has entered the radio interference area S using the radio interference wave.

[0032] (Transmitter 2) Transmitter 2 is composed of one or more units and outputs specific radio waves to multiple antennas 3. A defense system 10 equipped with one transmitter 2 can radiate radio waves of the same phase from multiple antennas 3 arranged on the output side of transmitter 2, as shown in Figure 2. This defense system 10 can radiate radio waves from the antennas 3 with a phase according to the phase indicator 5 by installing a phase indicator 5 between transmitter 2 and multiple antennas 3. It is also possible to radiate radio waves from the antennas 3 with a phase according to the length of the radio wave transmission path, such as a coaxial cable, arranged between transmitter 2 and antennas 3. The defense system 10 shown in Figure 2 is equipped with a phase indicator 5 arranged between transmitter 2 and each antenna 3 and a control unit 6 that controls transmitter 2, and these phase indicators 5 and control unit 6 constitute a control mechanism 4 that controls the phase of specific radio waves radiated from multiple antennas 3. This defense system 10 controls the phase of radio waves emitted from multiple antennas 3, which are output from one transmitter 2 and radiated from multiple antennas 3, using a control mechanism 4, thereby causing the radio waves radiated from multiple antennas 3 to interfere with each other at a specific point P.

[0033] As shown in Figure 3, a defense system 10 equipped with multiple transmitters 2 has one or more antennas 3 positioned for each of the multiple transmitters 2. This defense system 10 can control the output timing and output intensity of radio waves radiated from multiple antennas 3 by synchronizing the multiple transmitters 2, and it is also possible to change the phase. The defense system 10 shown in Figure 3 is equipped with a control mechanism 4 that controls each transmitter 2, and by adjusting the phase of the radio waves output from each transmitter 2 with this control mechanism 4, it is possible to interfere with the radio waves radiated from multiple antennas 3 so that they reinforce each other at a specific point P. Although not shown, a defense system equipped with multiple transmitters can also adjust the phase of radio waves radiated from each antenna by placing a phase shifter between each transmitter and antenna and providing a control mechanism that controls this phase shifter from a control unit.

[0034] Furthermore, in a defense system 10 that emits radio waves from a transmitter 2 through multiple antennas 3, it is also possible to substantially change the direction of radio wave emission by changing the phase of the radio waves emitted from each antenna 3, thereby giving the radio waves emitted from the multiple antennas 3 directivity due to the phase change.

[0035] (Multiple Antennas 3) The defense system 10 is equipped with multiple antennas 3 to radiate specific radio waves output from the transmitter 2. The multiple antennas 3 can be directional or omnidirectional. Directional antennas can include Yagi-Uda antennas, patch antennas, parabolic antennas, etc., while omnidirectional antennas can include half-wavelength dipole antennas, etc. Here, the radiation direction of the Yagi-Uda antenna can be changed by mechanical control. For parabolic antennas, it is also possible to control the directionality by using a multi-beam antenna.

[0036] Multiple antennas 3 are not limited to radiating radio waves with single polarization such as horizontal or vertical polarization, but may also use polarizations such as dual polarization, circular polarization, or elliptical polarization. Therefore, helical antennas, cross-Yagi-Uda antennas, and dual-polarization antennas can also be used.

[0037] The defense system 10 forms a radio jamming wave by interfering specific radio waves radiated from multiple antennas 3 in a way that reinforces each other at a specific location. By interfering the radio waves radiated from multiple antennas 3 in a way that reinforces each other, the amplitude of the radio jamming wave, which is amplified by the interference, can be increased while reducing the output of the individual radio waves radiated from each antenna 3. In other words, by adjusting the phase of the radio waves radiated from multiple antennas 3, the amplitude of the composite wave at a specific point P can be increased to form a radio jamming wave that restricts, suppresses, and interferes with the movement of the mobile object 1. Therefore, this defense system 10 can effectively restrict, suppress, and interfere with the movement of the mobile object 1 by strengthening the radio jamming wave formed at a specific point P, while reducing the output of the radio waves radiated from each antenna 3 and reducing adverse effects on the surroundings.

[0038] When multiple antennas 3 have directionality, as shown in Figures 1 to 3, the directionality of the radio waves radiated from each antenna 3 can be adjusted so that they intersect at a specific point P, and by causing interference so that the radio waves reinforce each other at this specific point P, a strong radio interference wave can be formed.

[0039] Furthermore, if multiple antennas are omnidirectional, as shown in Figure 4, strong radio interference waves can be formed by intersecting the circularly spreading radio waves radiated from each antenna 3 at a specific point P, causing the radio waves to reinforce each other at this intersection point.

[0040] (Specific Point P) Specific point P refers to a point where radio waves emitted by multiple antennas 3 can reach, and where interference is generated such that the amplitude of the radio waves output from the multiple antennas 3 increases at that specific point P. At specific point P, the radio waves that interfere constructively are combined according to the principle of superposition to form a strong radio interference wave with a large amplitude.

[0041] (Radio wave scanning) Furthermore, the defense system 10 of the present invention is characterized by scanning radio waves radiated from a plurality of antennas 3 to scan a specific point P where radio wave interference waves are formed within a specific two-dimensional or three-dimensional region, thereby forming a radio wave interference region S. This defense system 10 does not simply interfere with a plurality of radio waves to form a radio wave interference wave at a pinpoint, but as shown in Figures 5 and 6, it scans the point where radio wave interference waves are formed to create a radio wave interference region S in two or three dimensions, thereby restricting, suppressing, and interfering with the operation of the mobile body 1. Here, Figure 5 shows a state in which a radio wave interference region S that spreads horizontally within a predetermined region is formed by scanning the point where radio wave interference waves are formed in the horizontal plane as X1, X2... in the figure. Also, Figure 6 shows a state in which a radio wave interference region S that spreads vertically within a predetermined region is formed by scanning the point where radio wave interference waves are formed in the vertical plane as Z1, Z2... in the figure.

[0042] That is, according to the defense system 10 of the present invention, by forming a radio wave interference region S in a two-dimensional or three-dimensional specific region, a radio wave interference wave is applied to the moving body 1 that has moved into this region to restrict, deter, and interfere with its operation. The radio wave scanning can be performed by controlling the directivity of the antenna 3, controlling the phase shifter 5, synchronizing the transmitter 2, etc., and can scan within a two-dimensional or three-dimensional region. In particular, by performing scanning through electrical control such as controlling the phase shifter 5, it becomes possible to scan a wide area in a short time.

[0043] The radio wave interference region S formed by the above defense system 10 can arbitrarily set its shape and range. The radio wave interference region S can be formed, for example, in a shape that spreads three-dimensionally over the sky of the region to be protected as shown in FIGS. 1, 5, and 6. Furthermore, the radio wave interference region S can also be formed in a dome shape so as to surround the periphery of the upper end of the building to be protected as shown in the schematic diagram of FIG. 7. The radio wave interference region S of this shape can be efficiently formed by, for example, a plurality of antennas 3 installed on the rooftop of a building. Furthermore, the radio wave interference region S can also be formed two-dimensionally as shown in FIG. 8. FIG. 8 shows a state where a radio wave interference region S that spreads in a screen shape in the vertical direction is formed between adjacent buildings. The radio wave interference region S of this shape can be efficiently formed by, for example, a plurality of antennas 3 installed vertically on the opposing wall surfaces of opposing buildings. In any case of forming the radio wave interference region S of any shape, it can be formed into a desired shape by scanning the radio waves radiated from the plurality of antennas 3 within a two-dimensional or three-dimensional specific region.

[0044] (Specific Radio Waves) The above defense system 10 interferes with the radio waves related to the operation of the moving body 1 by radio wave interference waves formed by specific radio waves. This specific radio wave refers to a radio wave that can restrict, deter, and interfere with the operation of the moving body 1, and includes jamming waves, spoofing waves, meaconing waves, etc.

[0045] Jamming waves cause degradation of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and can cause radio interference and degradation of communication quality. For example, radio waves such as random noise, white noise, sine waves, carrier waves, modulated waves in a narrow band, pulse waves, frequency-hopping waves, phase-modulated waves, and burst jamming waves are jamming waves, and the operation of the mobile body 1 can be restricted, suppressed, or interfered with by these waves.

[0046] Spoofing waves can imitate radio waves containing normal information, and deceive the receiver that receives this radio wave with radio waves containing false information, thereby restricting, suppressing, or interfering with the operation of the mobile body 1. For example, when spoofing GNSS is performed, by radiating radio waves containing false signals to the GNSS receiver, it is possible to mislead the position information and time information, and guide the mobile body 1 to a false position.

[0047] Repeater jamming waves can eavesdrop on radio waves containing normal signals and retransmit them, so that the receiver that receives this radio wave is deceived by radio waves containing false information, that is, information that causes the receiver to misidentify past information as current information, etc., and the operation of the mobile body 1 can be restricted, suppressed, or interfered with. For example, by retransmitting past GNSS signals, it is possible to reduce the position measurement accuracy or misidentify the position, and guide the mobile body 1 to a false position.

[0048] [Embodiment 2] The defense system 10 of the present invention includes, as a plurality of antennas 3, a plurality of antenna elements 9 and a control mechanism 4 that controls the phase of the radio wave supplied to the plurality of antenna elements 9, and an antenna whose directivity can be controlled by the control mechanism 4 can be used. Hereinafter, as the defense system 10 according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention, a defense system 10 including a plurality of antennas 3 whose directivity can be adjusted by phase control will be described in detail.

[0049] The defense system 10 shown in Figures 9 and 10 comprises one or more transmitters 2 that output specific radio waves, and a plurality of antennas 3 capable of radiating the radio waves output from the transmitters 2 in a specific direction. The plurality of antennas 3 comprises a plurality of antenna elements 9 and a control mechanism 4 that controls the phase of the radio waves fed to the plurality of antenna elements 9. By controlling the phase of the radio waves fed to the plurality of antenna elements 9 with the control mechanism 4, the directivity of the radio waves radiated from the plurality of antenna elements 9 can be controlled.

[0050] (Multiple Antennas 3) The antenna 3 shown in Figures 9 to 11 is a phased array antenna 3X composed of multiple antenna elements 9. This defense system 10 can control the directionality of the antenna using the phased array antenna 3X. However, the defense system can also use multiple omnidirectional antennas as antennas whose directivity can be controlled by phase control, and give them directivity by adjusting the phase of the radio waves supplied to them. Furthermore, the defense system 10 may use the phased array antenna 3X in combination with other different antennas.

[0051] (Multiple Antenna Elements 9) Multiple antenna elements 9 can generate directivity by changing the phase of the radio waves fed to each of them using a phase shifter 5 or the like, and can radiate radio waves in a specific direction. The shape of these antenna elements 9 is not particularly specified, and various antenna elements 9 such as dipole antennas and patch antennas can be used. Furthermore, if the antenna elements are dual-polarization compatible, it is possible to radiate radio waves with horizontal polarization, vertical polarization, elliptical polarization, or circular polarization.

[0052] (Control Mechanism 4) The control mechanism 4 is connected between the transmitter 2 and each antenna element 9 and includes a plurality of phase shifters 5 that adjust the phase of the radio waves supplied from the transmitter 2, and a control unit 6 that controls each phase shifter 5 to adjust the phase of the radio waves radiated from each phase shifter 5. By controlling the phase shifters 5, the control mechanism 4 adjusts the phase of the radio waves supplied from the transmitter 2 to each antenna element 9 and adjusts the directivity of the radio waves radiated from each antenna 3. Furthermore, the control mechanism 4 can adjust the phase of the radio waves radiated from each antenna 3 so that specific radio waves radiated in a specific direction from the plurality of antennas 3 interfere with each other at a specific point P to reinforce each other and form radio interference waves.

[0053] The defense system 10 shown in Figure 9 is equipped with one transmitter 2, and the radio waves output from this transmitter 2 are supplied to each antenna element 9 via a phase shifter 5 and an attenuator 8. The control mechanism 4 shown in this figure consists of a main control unit 7 that controls multiple antennas 3 and a control unit 6 that controls each antenna 3. Each antenna 3 adjusts its output using the control mechanism 4 to receive radio waves supplied from a single transmitter 2, and determines the phase output to each antenna element 9 so that they interfere with each other at a specific point P to form radio interference waves, and also determines the phase output to each antenna element 9 so as to form the directivity of each antenna 3. Here, power is supplied to each antenna element 9 via a phase shifter 5 and an attenuator 8, but the system is not limited to this means, and the configuration is not limited to this, for example, output control is performed by an amplifier. Furthermore, the main control unit 7 and control unit 6 are not limited to this configuration example, and the configuration is not limited to a single control unit 6 or a main control unit 7 controlling all the equipment.

[0054] The defense system 10 shown in Figure 10 is equipped with multiple transmitters 2, each with an antenna 3 on the output side of the transmitter 2, and is composed of a main control unit 7 responsible for controlling the multiple antennas 3 and a control unit 6 responsible for controlling each antenna 3. The multiple antennas 3 are controlled by the main control unit 7, and the control unit 6 controls the transmitters 2 and the phase shifters 5 of each antenna element 9. The main control unit 7 and control unit 6 are not limited to this configuration example, and the configuration means are not limited to this, such as one control unit 6 or a main control unit 7 controlling all the equipment.

[0055] The above-described defense system 10 also interferes with the radio waves radiated from multiple antennas 3 in such a way that they are amplified at a specific point P, thereby forming a radio interference wave at that specific point P. The specific radio waves radiated from the multiple antennas 3 are radiated in a specific direction as shown in Figures 9 and 10 by adjusting the directivity of each antenna 3, and the phase of each radio wave is adjusted so that they interfere with each other in such a way that they reinforce each other at points where they intersect, forming a strong radio interference wave. As described above, the antenna 3, whose directivity can be adjusted by controlling the phase of radio waves radiated from multiple antenna elements 9, can adjust the direction of radio wave radiation by electrical control, so it is possible to easily and efficiently scan the radio waves and form an interference region S while forming an interference wave at a desired location.

[0056] This defense system 10 controls the phase of multiple phased array antennas 3X to scan the radio waves radiated from the multiple antennas 3, and scans the radio interference waves formed by interference within a specific two- or three-dimensional region to form a radio interference region S. Figure 12 shows an example of a defense system 10 that uses multiple antennas 3 to form a radio interference region S more efficiently. The defense system 10 shown in the figure shows a state in which a radio interference region S is formed by multiple antennas 3 arranged around a roughly rectangular area to be protected. The defense system 10 in the figure includes multiple antennas 3 arranged at the four corners of the rectangle (indicated as A to D in the figure) and multiple antennas 3 arranged in the center of the four sides of the rectangle (indicated as E to H in the figure). The defense system 10 in the figure divides the radio interference region S into multiple divided regions S1 to S4, and divides the multiple antennas 3 into multiple sets to be responsible for forming each divided region S1 to S4. In the diagram, antennas 3 positioned at A, B, and E form divided region S1, antennas 3 positioned at B, C, and F form divided region S2, antennas 3 positioned at C, D, and G form divided region S3, and antennas 3 positioned at D, A, and H form divided region S4. By dividing the radio interference region S into multiple divided regions S1 to S4 in this way, and assigning multiple antennas 3 to multiple sets, radio waves can be scanned more efficiently to form the radio interference region S.

[0057] [Embodiment 3] (Mobile Authentication System 20) Figure 13 is a schematic diagram showing a mobile authentication system according to one embodiment of the present invention. The mobile authentication system 20 shown in this figure comprises any of the defense systems 10 described above, an authenticated authenticated mobile body 11, and an authentication transmitter 12 that outputs radio waves containing information related to the operation of the authenticated mobile body 11. The authenticated mobile body 11 has a detection unit 15 that detects information related to the operation of the authenticated mobile body 11 from the radio waves output from the authentication transmitter 12. As described above, the mobile authentication system 20 with this structure provides a rescue for authenticated mobile bodies 11 that have been authenticated as non-threat mobile bodies, allowing them to operate even in a radio interference area S, as shown in Figures 14 and 15. In this mobile authentication system 20, the detection unit 15 provided on the authenticated mobile body 11 detects information related to the operation of the authenticated mobile body 11 from the radio waves output from the authentication transmitter 12, thereby enabling the authenticated mobile body 11 to operate normally even in a radio interference area S.

[0058] (Authorized Mobile Entity 11) As mentioned above, the authorized mobile entity 11 is a mobile entity that does not pose a threat, and refers to a mobile entity whose operation is specially permitted, such as a mobile entity that is permitted to operate in a restricted area by law, an authorized mobile entity, or a mobile entity that is receiving services such as a subscription service. The mobile entity authentication system 20 restricts, deterrestrializes, and interferes with the operation of a threatening mobile entity 1, while providing relief so that only the authorized mobile entity 11 can bypass the defense system 10 and operate.

[0059] The mobile authentication system 20 provides a solution to enable the authenticated mobile device 11 to operate even in locations or specific areas where the defense system 10 is active. In specific locations P or specific radio interference areas S, the defense system 10 emits radio interference waves. The mobile authentication system 20 provides a solution to the authenticated mobile device 11 by emitting authentication radio waves containing information necessary for the operation of the authenticated mobile device 11, either separately from or using the radio interference waves themselves. Upon receiving the authentication radio waves, the authenticated mobile device 11 can maintain normal operation by detecting the information necessary for its operation from the received authentication radio waves using its detection unit 15.

[0060] Furthermore, the mobile authentication system 20 may encrypt the radio waves output from the authentication transmitter 12 or the information related to the operation contained in the radio waves, or the radio waves containing such information, and the detection unit 15 of the authenticated mobile body 11 may have means for decrypting the encrypted radio waves or the encrypted information contained in the radio waves.

[0061] (Authentication Transmitter 12) The mobile authentication system 20 may include a dedicated transmitter, the authentication transmitter 12, which outputs authentication radio waves to the authenticated mobile body 11. This mobile authentication system 20 may include, for example, a plurality of authentication transmitters 12 and antennas 13 connected to these authentication transmitters 12, and each authentication transmitter 12 may output information for the authenticated mobile body 11 to perform positioning using different time signals, thereby outputting multiple time signals to the authenticated mobile body 11. The authenticated mobile body 11 can maintain its operating state by calculating its position information from the time signals of the authentication radio waves output from the authentication transmitter 2 in the detection unit 15. Note that, not limited to time signals, each antenna 3 may output information for the authenticated mobile body 11 to perform positioning using signals that include information regarding the directional characteristics of the radio waves it emits, or it may output other information unrelated to positioning that enables the authenticated mobile body 11 to operate normally.

[0062] Furthermore, the authentication transmitter 12 can also use the antenna 3 of the defense system 10 without requiring a dedicated antenna 13. This structure has the advantage of reducing manufacturing costs by using the antenna installed in the defense system to transmit radio waves output from the authentication transmitter 12.

[0063] Furthermore, the mobile authentication system 20 does not require a dedicated authentication transmitter 12; the transmitter 2 provided by the defense system 10 can also be used as the authentication transmitter 12. In this case, the transmitter 2 of the defense system 10 outputs radio waves for forming radio jamming waves, and outputs these radio waves for forming radio jamming waves and authentication radio waves at predetermined intervals. For example, the transmitter 2 outputs the radio waves for forming radio jamming waves and the authentication radio waves alternately as pulse waves at a predetermined period, so that the authenticated mobile body 11 that receives the authentication radio waves can maintain normal operation by detecting the authentication radio waves from the radio waves received by the detection unit 15 of the authenticated mobile body 11. Alternatively, the transmitter 2 may also use the radio waves for forming radio jamming waves as authentication radio waves, outputting them as pulse waves at a predetermined period. When a mobile body 1 receives these radio waves, its operation is restricted, suppressed, or interfered with as radio jamming waves, but the authenticated mobile body 11 can maintain normal operation by detecting the authentication radio waves from the radio waves received by the detection unit 15 of the authenticated mobile body 11.

[0064] Encrypted radio waves can be encrypted, for example, by performing spread spectrum encryption. In this case, the detection unit 15 of the authentication mobile device 11 can detect the authentication radio wave by acquiring and generating a spreading code or despreading code, and based on this detected authentication radio wave, the authentication mobile device 11 can be operated normally.

[0065] Furthermore, by including information encrypted with a common encryption key in the radio waves, for example, only the authenticated mobile device 11 possessing the public encryption key can decrypt the information contained in the radio waves, and the authenticated mobile device 11 can operate normally based on the detected authenticated radio waves. The detection unit 15 of the authenticated mobile device 11 stores the public encryption key and decrypts the radio waves containing encrypted information based on this stored public encryption key.

[0066] [Embodiment 4] (Radar System 30) Figures 16 and 17 are schematic diagrams showing a radar system according to one embodiment and another embodiment. The radar system 30 shown in these figures comprises one of the defense systems 10 described above, a receiver 32 that receives radio waves radiated from a plurality of antennas 3 of the defense system 10 and reflected by a mobile body 1 or an authenticated mobile body 11, and a mobile body detection unit 34 that detects information regarding the movement of the mobile body 1 based on the radio waves received by the receiver 32. In this radar system 30, radio waves radiated from the antennas 3 of the defense system 10 are reflected by the mobile body 1 or an authenticated mobile body 11, and the receiver 32 receives these reflected radio waves, thereby the mobile body detection unit 34 detects information regarding the movement of the mobile body 1 or an authenticated mobile body 11.

[0067] (Receiver 32) The receiver 32 receives radio waves radiated from the antenna 3 of the defense system 10 and reflected by the mobile body 1 or the authenticated mobile body 11. As shown in Figures 16 and 17, the radio waves reflected by the mobile body 1 or the authenticated mobile body 11 are reflected waves of radio waves output from the transmitter 2 and radiated from the antenna 3 to limit, suppress, or interfere with the operation of the mobile body 1 or the authenticated mobile body 11, and these are applied to the radar system 30. The receiver 32 shown in Figure 16 is connected to an antenna 33 that receives radio waves reflected from the mobile body 1 or the authenticated mobile body 11. The receiver 32 can be installed independently for the radar system 30 as shown in this figure. Also, as shown in Figure 17, multiple antennas 3 of the defense system 10 can be used as antennas 33 for receiving reflected waves. According to this radar system 30, radio waves emitted from the antenna 3 of the defense system 10 are reflected by the mobile body 1 or the authenticated mobile body 11, and the receiver 32 receives these reflected radio waves via the antenna 3, thereby enabling the mobile body detection unit 34 to detect information regarding the movement of the mobile body 1 or the authenticated mobile body 11.

[0068] [Embodiment 5] Figure 18 is a schematic diagram showing an example of a radar system according to another embodiment of the present invention. In this figure, the radar system 30 is configured such that the defense system 10 causes the plurality of transmitters 2 to emit different radio waves L1 and L2, and the receiver 32 receives the reflected waves R1 and R2 that are reflected by the mobile body 1 or the authenticated mobile body 11, thereby detecting information regarding the movement of the mobile body 1 or the authenticated mobile body 11.

[0069] (Multiple Transmitters 2) Multiple transmitters 2 can be used to create a more accurate radar system, such as a MIMO radar, by emitting and radiating radio waves different from the radio waves emitted from transmitter 2 in order to restrict, suppress, or interfere with the movement of the mobile object 1. Alternatively, the radio waves emitted from the authentication transmitter 12, which transmits radio waves containing information related to movement, and radiated from antenna 3 can also be used in a radar system. Furthermore, the radio waves emitted from the aforementioned authentication transmitter 12 and radiated from antenna 13 can also be used in a radar system.

[0070] (Receiver 32) The receiver 32 receives and processes reflected waves R1 and R2 that are reflected by the mobile body 1 or authenticated mobile body 11 from the radio waves output from the multiple transmitters 2 and the authentication transmitter 12 and radiated from the antennas 3 and 13, thereby detecting information regarding the movement of the mobile body 1. This receiver 32 may be installed independently for the radar system 30, or the mechanism may be such that radio waves radiated from the antenna 3 of the defense system 10 are reflected by the mobile body 1 or authenticated mobile body 11, and the receiver 32 receives these reflected waves R1 and R2 by the antenna 3, thereby allowing the mobile body detection unit 34 to detect information regarding the movement of the mobile body 1 or authenticated mobile body 11.

[0071] [Embodiment 6] Figure 19 is a schematic diagram showing an example of a radar system according to another embodiment of the present invention. In this figure, the radar system 30 outputs radio waves from a plurality of transmitters 2 and authentication transmitters 12 by the defense system 10 or mobile authentication system 20 and radiates them from antennas 3 and 13. Normally, these radio waves should be received by the receiver 32, but the mobile object detection unit 34 detects that this has not been possible, thereby detecting information that a mobile object 1 or authenticated mobile object 11 that is interfering with the radio waves has moved across the path of the radio waves.

[0072] [Embodiment 7] Figure 20 is a schematic diagram showing an example of a positioning system according to one embodiment of the present invention. In the positioning system 40 shown in this figure, information regarding the movement of a moving body 1 or authenticated moving body 11 detected by the radar system 30 is transmitted from the moving body detection unit 34 to the movement information transmission control mechanism 44, and the movement information transmitter 42 transmits information regarding the movement to the authenticated moving body 11 to perform positioning of the authenticated moving body 11.

[0073] This invention contributes to national security and crisis management by enabling the restriction, deterrence, and disruption of the movements of threatening mobile entities, thereby eliminating threats.
