The present invention relates to a technology for accelerating MAC operations in a log-quantized artificial neural network by using precomputed MAC operation results. According to one aspect of the present invention, a method for performing log-quantized MAC operations based on redundant MAC operation patterns may comprise the steps of: receiving a log-quantized MAC operation to be processed; converting the received MAC operation into a predefined redundant MAC operation pattern; and performing the converted MAC operation on the basis of precomputed operation result values corresponding to the redundant MAC operation pattern.
