Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for starting servicing work for an elevator installation (1), having the following steps. The invention also relates to a system comprising such an elevator installation. The method comprises the following steps: ascertaining a first visual code (4) at a first location (12a) in the elevator installation (1) using at least one mobile terminal (2); transmitting the identification data of the mobile terminal (2) to a remote controller (3) in order to identify the mobile terminal (2); generating, by means of the remote controller (3), a second visual code (5) for authenticating the mobile terminal (2) for the servicing work; displaying the generated second visual code (5) at a second location (12b) in the elevator installation (1); ascertaining the displayed second visual code (5) using the mobile terminal (2); transmitting the ascertained second visual code (5) together with the identification data of the mobile terminal (2) to the remote controller (3); and switching the elevator installation (1) in order to place the elevator system (1) into a special operating mode of the elevator system (1) for the servicing work if the ascertained second visual code (5) corresponds to the generated second visual code (5) and has been received by the remote controller (3) within a predetermined time period.
