Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] LAUNCHER WITH EJECTOR

[0003] Technical Field:

[0004] The invention relates to a grenade launcher for firing bomb-type cased ammunition, known in the art as a launcher.

[0005] This invention relates to a grenade launcher comprising an ejector for spontaneous removal of the ammunition casing.

[0006] State of the Art:

[0007] Launcher-type weapons are firearms that fire ammunition in a shell. It can be in the form of a pistol or a rifle. The subject invention relates to these firearms and aims to provide an alternative trigger mechanism for the automatic removal of empty casings from the firearm.

[0008] In the state of the art, ammunition firing weapons do not have an ejector system to remove the casings. However, the casings get hot after firing, and since empty casings cannot be held by hand, their removal from the firearms poses a problem.

[0009] Again, in launcher-type firearms that fire ammunition in the state of the art, disassembling and reassembling the trigger mechanism during maintenance is both difficult and time consuming. The main reason for this is that trigger mechanisms are made up of too many parts. There is a need for a simple design that simplifies the trigger mechanisms in launcher-type firearms.

[0010] A literature search reveals that there is no ejector system for launcher-type firearms that removes the empty casing by itself. There are patent applications for the Browning model for the trigger system in the invention. In this system, there are two large diameter impellers connected to each other on two gears. There is an external circular part to determine the position of these parts. There are also two other parts connected to the trigger in the form of an extension and these parts have fasteners. Therefore, the Browning model also encounters difficulties during disassembly, assembly and maintenance.

[0011] In the state of the art, the US patent document numbered US20210222982 describes a firearm featuring a trigger mechanism similar to the one in the invention described herein. In the US patent, the three winged parts on the gears are redundant. In the invention, the blades on the gear are used instead. In the US patent, the trigger consists of 2 parts, with a separate spring-loaded part between the trigger and the first gear. In the described patent, there are four extra parts compared to the trigger mechanism in the present invention. Fasteners and pins are also used for these parts. Therefore, there are difficulties during maintenance, repair, dismantling and tooling.

[0012] As a result, there is a need for a new launcher-type firearm in which the state of the art is exceeded and its disadvantages are eliminated.

[0013] Brief Description of the Invention:

[0014] The invention is to provide a grenade launcher (launcher-type firearm) that exceeds the state of the art, eliminates its disadvantages and offers additional advantages.

[0015] The aim of the invention is to provide a new grenade launcher that automatically removes the shell of the fired ammunition. Another aim of the invention is to provide a new grenade launcher whose trigger mechanism consists of a very small number of parts, making maintenance, disassembly and reassembly much easier.

[0016] Another object of the invention is to provide a new type of launcher-type firearm comprising an ejector with a self-removing ejector to solve the problem of manual removal of fired casings.

[0045] Description of the Invention:

[0046] In this detailed description, the inventive firearm (1 ) is described only for a better understanding of the subject matter, with examples that do not have any limiting effect.

[0047] The invention is a firearm for firing shell-type ammunition, known in the art as a launcher (1 ). The inventive firearm (1 ) consists of known elements such as handle (2), barrel (3), trigger (4), cotter main pin (5) and body (10). In the invention, the trigger (4) sets and lowers the hammer (7) by means of a trigger mechanism, the hammer (7) fires the needles and ammunition, and the shot is fired from the barrel (3). The ammunition casings are located in the shell housing (6) in the body (10). Since the invention has two barrels (3), it can fire from both the lower barrel (3) and the upper barrel. For firing from the upper and lower barrel (3), there is a shell housing (6) in the upper and lower sections. The feature of the invention is the simplification of the trigger mechanism and the automatic removal of the fired ammunition casings, i.e. empty casings, from the shell housing. In the invention, the ejector is the element that removes the empty shells (20)

[0048] In the inventive firearm (1 ), the trigger (4) is associated with a wheel pin (12). When the trigger (4) is pressed, it contacts the wheel pin (12) and rotates the stepping wheel (11 ). The stepping wheel (11 ) is rotatably mounted on the housing (10) and includes a lower gear (13) which is concentric with itself at the bottom. Since the lower gear (13) is concentric and related to the stepping wheel (11 ), it rotates simultaneously. The lower gear (13) is in contact with an upper gear (14). The upper gear (14) also rotates together with the lower gear (13) but in the opposite direction. The drive for the rotation of the stepping wheel (11 ) and gears (13, 14) comes entirely from the trigger (4). In the invention, there are four blades on the lower gear (13) and upper gear (14) as shown in Figure 3. These blades raise and lower the hammers (7) as the gears (13, 14) rotate. Each time the hammers (7) fall, the needles of the firearm (1 ) fire by detonating the ammunition casings. In the invention, this trigger mechanism, which is provided with a stepping wheel (11 ), lower gear (13) and upper gear (14), consists of a small number of parts as can be seen. Therefore, it provides convenience during maintenance, repair, disassembly and tooling, and facilitates the production of firearms.

[0049] However, the main feature of the invention is the removal of empty ammunition casings after firing. In the invention, one ejector (20) located on the side parts of the body (10) is used for this purpose. The ejector (20) on one side of the body (10) removes (6) empty shells from the shell housing of the lower barrel (3), while the ejector (20) on the other side removes (6) empty shells from the shell housing

[0050] of the upper barrel (3). In the invention, the ejector (20) is located in the shell housing (6).

[0051] After the shot, it applies pressure on the shell heads and removes them from the shell housing. In the invention, the hammers (7) are associated with an impeller (21 ) which actuates both the needles and the ejector (20). When the hammer (7) is lowered, the needles detonate the casings, and when the hammer (7) is installed, the impeller (21 ) moves in the direction of the barrel (3). The invention includes two hammers (7), one of which fires the shell in the shell housing (6) of the lower barrel (3), while the other hammer (7) fires the shell in the shell housing (6) of the upper barrel (3). Again, in the invention, there are two impellers (21 ) on the right and left, one of the impellers (21 ) triggers the ejector (20) on the right of the firearm (1 ) and the other triggers the ejector (20) on the left of the firearm (1 ). In the invention, when the impeller (21 ) moves in the direction of the barrel (3), the ejector's inner part (24) in the ejector (20) moves in the direction of the barrel (3), and the groove (241 ) in the ejector's inner part (24) is attached to the end of a actuating lever (22). The aforementioned actuating lever (22) is pivotably mounted on the body (10) at a connection point (221 ). When the ejector's inner part (24) moves in the direction of the barrel (3), the spring pin (25) of the ejector (20) on the barrel (3) side is compressed and the end of the actuating lever (21 ) is inserted into the groove (241 ). This is defined as the installation of the ejector (20). (Figure 4 illustrates this situation.) At this point, a timer (23) triggers the actuating lever (22) to release the end of the actuating lever (22) from the groove (241 ). (Figure 5 illustrates this situation. When the end of the actuating lever (22) is released from the groove (241 ), the spring pin (25), which is already in a compressed state, ejects the ejector (20), and the ejector (20) presses the empty case and pushes it away from the shell housing (6). In the invention, the timer (23) can rotate mechanically on the axis of the cotter main pin (5), and in this rotation movement, it triggers the actuating lever (22) and enables the end of the actuating lever (22) to be released from the groove (241 ) in the ejector's inner part (24). The single barrel version (3) of the invention uses a hammer (7) and detonating pin, an ejector (20), an ejector impeller (21 ), an actuating lever (22), a timer (23), a cotter main pin (5) and an ejector's inner part (24). In the double-barrel (3) version of the invention (depicted as double-barrel in the figures), the system includes one hammer (7) and firing pin for each barrel, one ejector (20) for each barrel, one ejector impeller (21 ), one actuating lever (22), one timer (23), one cotter main pin (5), and one ejector's inner part (24) for each barrel.
