Wire unit of a wire section of a machine for producing a fibrous material web

Abstract

The invention relates to a wire unit (1) of a wire section of a machine for producing a fibrous web, having a wire (2) which functions as a lower wire, the wire unit comprising at least two suction zones, in each of which a negative pressure can be built up, and at least two suction boxes (3, 4), the at least two suction zones being arranged in the at least two suction boxes, and the wire unit comprising a control device (5). At least one suction box (3) comprises exactly one suction zone and is movable so that said at least one suction box can be moved into a first position and into a second position, said at least one suction box being able to suction the wire when in the first position and not being able to suction the wire when in the second position. The control device is designed such that it can move the at least one movable suction box into the first position and into the second position and can activate and deactivate the negative pressure in the suction zone of said suction box.
