Horizontal axis with propellers or combination of vertical axis type Darrius, Savonius, helical has not worked in all countries despite huge MNC energy & renewable companies making generators. 7500kms of Indian seacoast, all coastal island & countries eternal free wind energy is running unused.

This an investment for good green non-polluting renewable energy ease for long use. Propeller, vertical axis- Darrius, Savonius, helix, vortex models are not priority as they are defective, not same as ours- citing a volume of past propeller, Darrius , Savonius, vortex , helix are legally not a priority as all these are different in structure, working, function, working and electricity delivered.

Since the present invention is radically different, in using the new mast travelling drum based blades with wind deflector, the inventors are unable to site any patent specification out of the available databases. Search of the USPTO, European patent offices for drum+ travelling pipe+ drum cylinder with curved surface blades+ added top& bottom different radii blades has no results. Others, known literature, generators and renewable energy companies’ literature also do not reveal machine like ours. The drum has a central cavity pipe for attaching to bearings .The drum is fitted on a travelling pipe of mast. The mast is made of vertical pipe with outside three or more rails of needed height. The mast has a travelling pipe with inner castors fitting S rolling on mast rails. .The travel pipe has on its bottom edge A.C generators that fit on drum bottom generator belt- pulleys / gear ring teeth. .The travel pipe has lifting rope cables wound on a cable drum run by an electrical motor housed in the bottom of mast in electronic control & drum rope cable housing. An electronic control, controls the rope cable drum, traveling pipe & its drum turbine for position for maximal electricity output. [0060] The following specification describes salient features of invention, the method of construction, the method of use and the advantages of the novel invention.
[0061] The novel device has a novel cylindrical drum with new different blades on its body with an inner bearings mounted on a travelling pipe with pipe’s inner surface rollers assembled on a mast with rails for travelling pipe. The mast is anchored on earth / buildings.
[0062] The existing vertical axis (Savonis, Darrius, helix, vortex or combinations) and horizontal axis propeller type three bladed aren’t proven efficient & have not been improved for long. The object of the invention is to overcome the inherent defects of all existing vertical axis & horizontal axis propeller types in use and cost. To this end, the new invention is addressed. Our moving wind generator is better, easy to use, maintain, saving birds& money, pollution, health too. Ours is not a shop floor improvement but needed a long research (smoke flow study of windmills) on new different thinking with a new novel drum with many blades to trap wind and rotate the drum with its A.C generators on the bearings of the travelling pipe which can’t rotate, but move up & down the mast that is fixed in earth / buildings. The low velocity wind easily rotates drum turbine on its bearings. It is non-obvious and new as all MNC generators, renewable energy companies in all countries didn’t solve this for long felt need for wind energy in all continents. Ours is not shop floor improvement as MNC energy company’s shop floor engineers& technicians didn’t create one like ours. There is novelty, new parts, better result- more electricity.

The invention is based on new engineering with inventive steps after study of wind flow in seasons. We need to convert linear winds to rotating torque for generator use.

Deflector 28 has a funnelling part 30( collect winds& passes back) and a channelizing part 31 to direct low winds37 Fig 6 to hit side & back drum blades in home models, in metros with wind turbulence between buildings. Wind powering blades are more than breaking blades in ours!

Rope Cables can be steel twisted for lifting travelling pipe in big devices and in small devices plastic non-stretchable nylon etc rope can be used. The device can be made for small KW for home, or large. Kilo / megawatts industrial use and by a grid of many connected wind generators.

1. An Improved vertical axis windmill comprising: a. A cylindrical drum turbine component comprising the drum (16), plurality of circumference curved surface blades (20), a set of upper(19) and lower edge blades (22), a bottom surface generator gear ring(23), an inner central cavity pipe (17) to fit bearings set on the non-rotating travelling pipe(12). b. Plurality of drum blades components, each blade (20), has a wind receiving surface with series of holes (21 ), and on its back surface set of reinforcing horizontal& vertical ridges. c. A mast component comprising mast pipe proper (1 ) of calculated height, its outer surface set of rails (2), rope cables (10) and electronic control (6) and a foundation (7) in earth. d. A travelling pipe component comprising the pipe(12), on pipe’s inner surface a set of castors (13) to fit& roll on mast rails(2),) on the travelling pipe outer surface a set of bearings(15, wind deflectors (26, 28), A.C generators (24) on bottom and top edge rope cable holes(14). e. The improved vertical axis windmill as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the cylindrical drum component comprises the drum (16), bottom surfacegenerator gear ring(23) , an inner central cavity pipe (17), a plurality of blades(20) on the curved surface, additional upperl 9 & lower plurality of blades(22), the cylindrical drum rotating freely around the travelling pipe bearings(15) .
3. The improved vertical axis windmill as claimed in claim 1 .wherein the drum blades of the curved surface of cylindrical drum comprises a blade body (20) with holes (21 ) on the wind hitting surface and on the back side a set of reinforcing horizontal& vertical ridges.

The improved vertical axis windmill as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the travelling pipe comprises a pipe body(12) , a set of top edge rope cable holes(14), sets of pipe inner surface castors (13) fittings rolling on mast rails(2), pipe outer surface bearings sets(15), wind deflector supports sets (27,29), generators supports (25).

The improved vertical axis windmill as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the low velocity wind model , the travel pipe(12) has a deflector (26) & on the opposite side another funnelling deflector(28) which comprises a front curved air funnelling part(30) and a back channelizing part(31 ) to direct wind on to cylindrical drum blades, deflector supports sets (27,29)) on the travelling pipe positioning the deflectors outer to drum blades.

The improved vertical axis windmill as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mast comprises , a foundation part(7), mast proper(1 ), a rope cable drum (9) and electronic control (6) inside of mast, a topmost rain / snow protecting shield (3) with warning lamp(4), lightning arrestor(36), wind sensor (5), the mast outer surface having plurality of rails (2) for travelling pipe castors.
7. The improved vertical axis windmill as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the travelling pipe rope cable system comprises a rope cable drum (9) with rope cables(10), its electrical motor(8), plurality of rope cables(10) with its free end fixed in travelling pipe holes(14).

The improved vertical axis windmill as claimed in claim 1 , wherein electronic control module (6) comprises a rope cable drum module with its wind sensor input, a communication module& warning safety module and an electrical volt, phase module with its weather proof input A.C generatorelectrical cables (32) and output water proof electrical cable (33) for safe electrical feed to grid.
9. . The improved vertical axis windmill as claimed in claim 1 , electrical system comprises generator electrical cable (32) wired to electronic control module with volt, phase correcting circuits (6), from electronic control module an output weather proof electrical cable (33) to land grid.
10. The Improved vertical axis windmill as claimed in claim 1 , wherein motorised rings on travelling pipe outside has the two deflectors, the electronic controls wind direction sensor, the motor positions deflectors into the wind for more energy.
