An electronic device is disclosed. An electronic device according to the present disclosure may comprise: a display; a memory for storing instructions; and at least one processor including processing circuitry, wherein the instructions cause, when executed individually or collectively by the at least one processor, the electronic device to: display, in a text input field displayed on the display, text to be input to an artificial intelligence model on the basis of a user input; when a user input for requesting a risk level for the text is received, acquire identification information of an individual from the text; identify the risk level for the text caused by the identification information of the individual, on the basis of a total population of a region where the electronic device is located and a population corresponding to the identification information in the region; and display information on the risk level on the display.
