Abstract
The present application relates to the technical field of communications. Provided are a communication method and apparatus. In the method, a first user plane function entity sends a first message to a second user plane function entity, wherein the first message is used for requesting that the second user plane function entity performs inference analysis on first data related to the first user plane function entity, the first message comprises the first data, and the second user plane function entity has intelligent computing power for inference analysis; and after performing inference analysis on the first data, the second user plane function entity obtains one or more of service information related to the first data or user experience information. Then, by means of a second message, the second user plane function entity sends to the first user plane function entity the information obtained after inference analysis, so as to realize the sharing of intelligent computing power between the first user plane function entity and the second user plane function entity.
