Vacuum adapter for tightening tools

Abstract

The present specification relates to an adapter (1) for a tightening tool having an output (shaft) to which the adapter may be connected, wherein the adapter comprises a vacuum connection (3) for connection to a vacuum source, a vacuum output driving connection (10) for drivingly engaging a socket (S) and for providing a fluid connection between the socket and the vacuum connection of the tightening tool, and a seal (100) adapted to provide a sealing interface between the vacuum output drive connection (10) and the socket (S), the seal being secured to the vacuum drive connection and configured to, in use, seal against an inner surface (SI) of the socket. The present specification also relates to a tool, a system and a sealing element.
