A hybrid slide

Abstract

A hybrid slide (100) is disclosed, comprising an entry segment (110) being configured to permit one or multiple riders into the hybrid slide (100) via an entry flume (160). The hybrid slide (100) further includes a water flume (140) having a pre-determined diameter which is selected based on a plurality of factors such as rider experience, safety, ease of installation of slide and / or standard codes. The water flume (140) may be made with customized curved contour shape to achieve a specific rider's trajectory. The riders follow a pre-determined trajectory within the water flume (140), with their motion governed by a set of multiple polynomial equations defining their trajectory. The hybrid slide (100) further includes alteration elements and various entertainment elements like lights, sound system, display screen, water spray and / or audio-visual system etc. along the sliding surface of the hybrid slide (100).
