AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing tire-rim connections are prone to detachment at high speeds or in difficult road conditions due to air leakage and insufficient pressure regulation, leading to safety hazards and maintenance issues.

Method used

A rim-tire regulator mechanism using a lower spring, upper spring, and upper spring cover that stabilizes tire pressure, preventing detachment by compressing the tire heel between the rim flange, and adjusting to internal pressure fluctuations.

Benefits of technology

Enhances tire-rim connection stability, prevents air leaks, and maintains optimal tire performance, extending tire and rim life, reducing maintenance costs, and ensuring safety under varying conditions.

Abstract

This invention is related to a rim-tire regulator operated by the internal pressure of the rim, which can be used to completely prevent a tire from detaching from a flange, especially at high speeds, by supporting the tire heels from the inside of a tire by the flange of all kinds of vehicle rims, characterized in that it comprises a tire heel (1) where the tire joins together with the rim, a rim flange (2) with which the tire heel (1) comes into contact, a spring cavity (3) located on an inner surface of a rim tumbler, a lower spring (4) positioned in the spring cavity (3) so as to have a height extending above the rim tumbler, a drum (5) positioned on the lower spring (4), the edges of which are made of a steel material in accordance with the tire heel (1), an upper spring (6) positioned on the drum (5) and produced in different sizes according to the dimensions of the tire, and an upper spring cover (7) that hermetically seals the surround of the upper spring (6), the upper part of which is made of metal and the sides of which are made of a flexible silicone or a fabric material.
