Abstract

Disclosed is a reactor pressure vessel direct injection safety system, which comprises a first water injection pipe and / or a second water injection pipe. The first water injection pipe passes through an upper head of a reactor pressure vessel, an input end of the first water injection pipe is located outside the reactor pressure vessel and connected to a coolant source, and an output end of the first water injection pipe is located inside the reactor pressure vessel and extends through an upper core support plate to a core region. The output end of the first water injection pipe can be directly positioned to the core region to output coolant, thus enhancing core cooling efficiency. The second water injection pipe passes through the reactor pressure vessel, an input end of the second water injection pipe is located outside the reactor pressure vessel and connected to the coolant source, and an output end of the second water injection pipe is located inside the reactor pressure vessel and at least extends to a downcomer section of the reactor pressure vessel. The output end of the second water injection pipe can output the coolant directly from the downcomer section, thus facilitating flow of more coolant from a lower core support plate to the core region to serve the function of core cooling.
