Abstract
The present application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. In the method, a network device may indicate M first CMRs and N second CMRs to a terminal device, the number of ports of reference signals associated with the M first CMRs is different from the number of ports of reference signals associated with the N second CMRs, and the M first CMRs and the N second CMRs are associated with the same CSI report configuration information. In this way, it can be supported that CSI-RS resources of different ports are indicated in one CSI report configuration, so that greater flexibility is achieved, and requirements in different scenarios can be satisfied.
