Abstract

The invention relates to an electronic device for organising and monitoring sports equipment in gyms, in particular dumbbells, which can be installed in a furniture item by means of an attachment system with damping that comprises adjustment parts and elastic elements. The device includes a case, a screen, measuring means based on reading RFID / NFC tags associated with the equipment, and programming and monitoring means, as well as luminous means visible from the outside through a translucent area and audible alert means. The system identifies the removed or deposited item and displays the value associated with the position (e.g. weight) and, optionally, a usage timer on the screen. When correct replacement is detected, the system generates visual confirmation and resets the status. In the event of incorrect replacement, the system issues audible and luminous alerts and displays error information to facilitate correction.

Description

[0001] DIGITAL GYM ORGANIZER

[0002] DESCRIPTION OF THE TECHNICAL SECTOR

[0003] The purpose of this application is to register an electronic measuring device designed to monitor the proper use of sports equipment in sports centers. It is well known that in gyms with high user turnover, sports equipment is often misused. The greater the number of users occupying the facilities, the more difficult it becomes to make the equipment available again, either due to excessive use of the equipment itself or inadequate storage after use, making it inconvenient for subsequent users.

[0004] As an attempted solution, sports centers currently rely on their own staff to frequently try to put the equipment back in order, as well as informing users of its correct use; however, this solution is temporary and inefficient when there is a continuous turnover of users.

[0005] The present model solves this problem by establishing, through an electronic device, the ability to identify sports items, indicate the time of use being made of them, provide the correct information on the placement of the sports equipment, and indicate the correct location of the item in case of incorrect placement by the user.

[0006] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0007] There are devices for organizing sports training or for monitoring movements, but currently there is no device for organizing sports equipment or measuring its use.

[0008] References to some of them are indicated below: For example, LIS2016346617A1 focuses exclusively on sports training, but none address the problem of misuse of sports equipment.

[0009] EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

[0010] The system that is the subject of the invention consists of a vertically positioned electronic device in which electronic devices comprising (chips, sensors, wiring...) are located internally.

[0011] The system consists of an elongated and rounded outer casing with a screen located at its upper end and the shock-absorbing system located at its lower end; it also includes:

[0012] -Measurement methods that take the form of RFID readers and tags,

[0013] -Audible means that are embodied in loudspeakers.

[0014] -Visual media that are implemented through screens and LEDs.

[0015] -Dampening means that take the form of springs.

[0016] -Fastening means that take the form of adjustment wing nuts.

[0017] -Programming methods that are implemented in programmable chips.

[0018] -Power sources that are specified in USB-C connectors

[0019] This device remains anchored to the bases of the dumbbell cabinet by means of fasteners that are incorporated into the shock absorption system and is located at the bottom to prevent possible damage or breakage of the system itself after any accidental impact by the user and to allow it to return to its original position.

[0020] At the top of the device is a screen that displays the correct weight of the dumbbells for that specific position. Once the user has selected the appropriate dumbbell for their workout, the screen will automatically indicate the usage time, with the option to program a maximum usage time to prevent overuse.

[0021] Once the user has finished using the dumbbells, they must be taken back to the origin and placed in their correct location. The screens indicate the correct weight as a reference, helping the user to locate the location and proceed to place the material in its place. At that moment, the system will give a confirmation on the screen and project green light flashes around the entire casing of the digital system as confirmation of correct organization of the material and will reset the material usage time;Furthermore, if the user does not correctly place the material in its correct location, the system will automatically emit intermittent audible sounds to alert the user of their error in the final execution, accompanied rhythmically by flashing red lights and displaying on the screen the incorrect weight that has been placed and also the correct weight that should be in its original place.

[0022] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0023] Figure 1 shows the front view of the electronic device, in which the position of the elements inside are also shown with dashed lines.

[0024] Figure 2 shows the rear view of the electronic device.

[0025] Figure 3 shows the side view of the electronic device.

[0026] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0027] A particular example of the electronic apparatus according to the present invention is described below with reference to the accompanying figures.

[0028] Specifically, on the upper front view of the device, a digital screen (2) can be observed, which will indicate the data collected by the RFID Reader (3), such as the weight of the dumbbell Figure 4 (16) obtained thanks to an NFC Tag located in the center of the dumbbell (15) and which will be placed normally in its base (17), it will also display the timer for use of the element in case of activation or the messages of success or error programmed for the occasion on the internal chip Figure 2 (10).

[0029] When any of the data does not correspond to those that have been programmed, an acoustic signal will be generated and played through the speaker (4) at the same time as flashes of light will be emitted from LEDs (9) installed on the sides, which travel through the device through the guides (1) that surround it. These flashes of light will be green if they correspond to the correct data previously programmed in the chip (10) or red if they show an error when they do not correspond to the correct data.

[0030] The possibility of seeing this luminosity from the outside is a consequence of attaching between the lateral edges of the device (12) a translucent part that is located around the central lateral part of the casing (11) thus allowing the light bursts that accompany the rhythm of the emitted sounds to be seen from the outside.

[0031] The set of technical parts such as chips, sensors and wiring are located inside the device, which can be accessed after removing the screws (8) that are fixed to the removable cover (8a).

[0032] The electronic device is powered by an external 5V power source, to which it is connected by any of the LISB-C connectors (5) incorporated at the bottom. These connectors are internally connected so that they can be connected in parallel more easily, allowing as many devices as needed to be added quickly.

[0033] The electronic device is installed by means of a fixing system attached to the lower part of the device (13), which in turn is anchored to another internal fixing (14) by means of a spring damping system (7) that allows a rocking in case of receiving impacts, returning to its initial position, avoiding breakages and misalignments of the initial position; This internal fixing has wing nuts (6) that allow its adaptability and fixing on the base that we need.
