Abstract
The invention relates to an in-vehicle warning system designed to detect infants, children, dogs, cats, and other pets who may be left in passenger vehicles, either forgotten, intentionally left under the incorrect assumption that the vehicle's interior temperature will not rise to dangerous levels or that slightly opened windows will prevent such temperature increases, or those who enter the vehicle on their own. The system identifies these situations before heatstroke or any adverse effects occur due to high interior temperatures and ensures notification of the driver, parent, and emergency call center.
