1.-11. Elevator operating panel with facial recognition graphical user interface

Abstract

The dynamic graphic user interface (GUI) of a landing operation panel (LOP) or a port of an elevator is set for face recognition of users. When the LOP or port detects that a user is approaching, the GUI is activated on a screen, the user's face is captured and displayed in a flashing circle on the screen, and the user is informed to move to a suitable distance from the panel. During the face recognition process, the circle has no fixed position and center on the screen, and its range and center position will change with the detected face position and distance. At the same time, the outer circle extending from the inner circle gradually becomes larger and the color gradually deepens, and then as it further expands outward, the color becomes lighter until it disappears. This dynamic change process repeats until the face recognition is completed.
